Jake P. O. V.
By the time we all got in the truck and before we headed to school. I heard Avery’s stomach I peeked in the back rear mirror and saw her holding her stomach.
“Hey, E,” I said to him in a mind link. He looked over at me, with a what on his face.
We need to get our mate something to eat. I can hear her belly rumbling back there.” I told him again in our mind.
Then I heard it again in her stomach. She not going to feel well if she keeps starving herself like this. So, I told Elijah to go through McDonald’s drive thru.
After we all got food and ate it on the way to school. After we pulled up at the school and we parked the truck. I see in the corner of my eye see movement in the back seat. I see her un bucket her seatbelt and open the door before we got to say something to her. We both turned around and see her smile and telling us thanks for the ride and breakfast and shut the door and went on her merrily way. I and Elijah watch her walk away with our mouths open and can’t believe she actually smiled and talk to us and not being scared for speaking. I didn’t see any fear on her face.
“Hey, that’s great news I heard Axe said in my mind. Yeah, maybe she starts coming around I heard him say. Oh, I wished I thought.
Hey, man look, I am sorry about what I did.” I didn’t know what I was doing.” I heard Elijah say.
“I hope we still bud.” He asked me with a nervous smile. I looked over at him and I thought I want to murder him for what he told me, but he is my best friend he can be a dumbass. I do believe him when he says he is sorry. But it’s not me he needs to apologize, and he knows it. He needs to apologize to Avery our mate.
“So, we cool he asked with his hand out. I watched his hand out and took it in mine and he did our handshake and I told him.
“Yeah, dude are we cool.” I told him with a smile on my face and my hand still in his when I told him.
“But I am not the one you need to apologize too?” I told him. He looked at me and then he bent his head down shook his shoulders up and let out a sigh.
“Yes, I know.” I will I promise but not yet after the dance.” I want her to at least have the homecoming she always wants. I want her to have the special night she deserves and to remember.” I heard Elijah say and looked back up out the windshield with a smile on his face. I can see this is killing him with regret written over his face.
“Dude! Stop worrying about what happened with the guys with the bet.” So, if I were you, I would tell her before someone else does.” I told him with worried and concern.
I keep my words to myself. Because we need to change the subject before, I get angry at him again.
“Hey, come on man.” Let go, bro.” I tell him with a grin on my face. I open the door and shut it. I got out of the truck, and I if can hurry up I can catch up with Avery my wallflower.
Elijah P. O. V.
Fuck! I need to tell her soon, but I will after the dance this Friday. That when I do it, I told myself. Yes, after the dance I can’t ruin the information before the dance. I see Jake out of the door and shut the door. I started to open my door and shut and walked around the truck. I see people surrounding the school and talking and hanging out maybe seeing rumors about the new gossip for the week. That is when I and Jake walking over towards our friends. That when I someone I didn’t want to see there.
What the fuck! I thought. But Jake beat me to it.
“What the fuck is he doing here?” I heard him say with a growl inside his throat.
Oh, No, he better leave before Jake kills him. I look closer, why is that fucking doctor here?” I asked Jake.
I don’t know but he better stay the fuck away from her! So, we started walking closer to our buddies. I kept staring at the doctor across from the school. He was talking to the cheerleaders, and I can see the evil smile he has on his face. The girls don’t have any idea what he likes. I know one thing he better not touch Avery she mines and Jake. When we stop in front of the guys with girls on their laps, but it’s not Avery’s friends they have the two slutty girls in our school making out with. Damn, that’s weird they were all over the friends and now they like no we don’t want you anymore and they dropped them like hotcakes.
“Fuck, you guys now it’s going to miss our chance with Avery!” I yelled at them. That when we got closer, we saw the expression on their face. They were not happy but like they are being blackballed or something. Maybe they never liked the girls, and they were playing them as we all do. But I am not playing around anymore, I got my mate and I just hope I don’t lose her before I have her in my arms and in my bed.
Avery P. O. V.
Why I did have to go in school early when everyone was outside still. I should have gone to find the girls and be close to them and away from this asshole.
“Hey, nerd” I have not seen you around lately, you got my homework.” I heard Matthew say.
“No, I am so sorry… I forgot to do it.”
“But I have it done tonight; I can email it to you if you want,” I tell him with a shaky voice because he scares me too.
I didn’t want to get him angry, I heard he likes he can be awful, and he likes to hurt girls. I hope it’s just a rumor.
How, about no he said getting closer towards my face and I felt him start touching my hair and he was twirling his fingers through my hair. I wanted to move away, and I was getting scared and sick at the same time.
“So, sweetheart this is what’s going to happen” You’re going to have my homework done this afternoon before lunch, and you’re going to meet me behind the football field because I don’t want people knowing I am talking to a loser, nerd bitch like you!” Got it.” He said angrily in my ear with a chuckle and a groan. I can feel him on top of my body.
“Please, can you get off me, you’re hurting me,” I told him with panic in my voice because he’s a big and heavy guy. I am trying to push him and shovel his chest but he’s not budging with my push. I am started to panic, and I can feel my breath is leaving and my heart rate is slowing down.
“Please”, I am trying to talk but I can barely even breathe.
“Please, Matt, I can’t breathe, I am going to pass out. Then he grabbed my chin and I yelled out, but no one hurried me, we were all alone in the dark hallway away from the doors. We still got ten minutes later before school starts and we must go to our homeroom class. He not paying attention to me. He is looking down at me with his fingers wrapped around my chin and I can feel a bruised coming and I am in pain, and I wish he would stop, or someone come and stop him. So, I can run away and make sure never to be alone with him or anyone else at that wants to show me harm.
He stares at me with them evil sinister face and smirks and backs off that when I took a deep breath and exhale and coughed, and I bent down trying to catch my breath. He let loose a little bit, but he still got me in his grip just enough I still get away from me and run. He never touches me like this or looks at me with desire. I always did his homework and made sure he didn’t beat me up and now I forgot to do his work and now he’s pissed off and he is going to hurt me.
I gasp when I felt him rubbing up against my leg and I felt him hard, this is turning him on when he is hurting me and it’s not good, I need to get away or else he going to harm me out here in front of the school hallway. I do believe he would, and I don’t think he cares who is around or not. I got to try to talk to him and calm him down before something goes bad.
