The engine is off the check. I am almost out of this jeep. I am smiling and waiting for my door to unlock, but it didn’t oh shoot I am stuck in this death vehicle. I want out! I kept saying in my mind.

We just started driving and I see Avery in the rearview mirror. I can see her face and she look nervous and scared and she is holding on to dear life on the handle of Jake’s jeep. I want to laugh because the look on her face is like a scared little kitten. How do I know she is scared and nervous you say? Well, I can feel it that how so. I can feel her emotions now. I didn’t before until I found out she is my mate.
“Jake, hey can you slow down a little bit,” I said to him in my mind.
“Huh?” He spoke back.

“You’re scaring our little, mate,” I told him to look back behind him and he will see she was scared and nervous of his fast driving. He has always been a faster driver. I am a fast driver myself, but I am not so fast, but if I am driving and get an accident I wouldn’t be dead wrapped around a tree.
I do try to do the speed limit. But Jake, on the other hand, needs to slow down and drive the speed limit, not over it I thought, and I know he can hear me because I didn’t block out him in my mind.
I see Jake looking back at Avery and I see in the side mirror, I wanted to laugh but it’s not funny seeing her like this. So, Jake shook his head and started slowing down on the road. I look over at the speed odometer and I see he was going seventy-nine miles per hour.
“Damn, bro” I didn’t realize you were going that fast.”

Yeah, I know, I know” I am slowing down now.” He said it but not in our minds. She heard him speak and now we are talking in front of her. We were trying to make conversation with her, but she just looks like she was out of space like she wasn’t her, but her body was but she wasn’t here.
