Aria
Smirking, I trail my fingers down his abs to the bulge in his pants. He stiffens immediately, letting out a low growl.
“What the fuck are you doing?”
“Proving I’m in control now,” I purr, giving his hard cock a slow rub. He arches his back, his grip tightening on my waist.
“Fuck, Aria, you’re playing a dangerous game,” he grits out.
“I like dangerous games,” I tease, pressing my body even closer.
He yanks himself away, panting hard. “Stop it. Don’t make me lose it.”
“But that’s what I want.”
He grabs a towel from the hanger, muttering under his breath. “I’m going to shower.”
“Can I come?”
“Aria…” He turns to me, half laughing, half exasperated. “What the hell has gotten into you?”
“What? Can’t handle a flirty me?” I sass back, crossing my arms.
He’s on me in a flash, wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me flush against him. His voice drops to a sinful whisper. “Next time you play this game, I’ll tie you to the bedpost and fuck you so hard, you’ll cry while begging to cum.”
Holy fuck.
Hot juices stream down my pussy, and I have to clench my thighs quickly to keep from melting into a puddle. Gosh, I fucking hate when he gets all alpha…bossy and controlling like it’s second nature to him. But damn, I can’t deny it; I also love it. The way he speaks with so much authority, like he owns the entire room…and me? Yeah, it’s intoxicating.
“So, take your naughty little ass outside,” he warns. “Because if you follow me into that shower, by the time I’m done with you… your legs’ll be jelly.”
Before I can respond, he whirls me around and delivers a firm smack to my ass. The sting is immediate, pulling a sharp yelp from me as I stumble forward, startled by the suddenness. “Out you go. I’ll see you outside. And I better not catch you looking at any guy… or I’ll fucking kill him. And then you.” His words are dark and possessive, and the worst part is I know he means every single word.
For what feels like the tenth time today, my cheeks blaze red as I walk out, practically feeling his gaze burning into my back. Without even realizing it, I start avoiding eye contact with anyone I pass. I know Lucas isn’t bluffing…if he catches anyone looking at me, there’s no telling what he’ll do. And honestly? I’m not about to find out.
I finally make it outside, and my eyes land on the Full Moon pack gearing up for the game. I try to walk past Vanessa without engaging, but as usual, she just can’t let me be.
“Aria, are you leaving? The game is about to start,” she sneers.
I stop and turn to her, crossing my arms. “I’m not feeling too good… after what you did to me last night.”
Her lips curl into a smirk. “But you had the energy to cheer for Alpha Lucas, didn’t you?”
“I did. But now it’s gone, so-” I’m cut off by the sound of slow clapping behind me.
I turn to find Ethan standing there, his expression hard and unreadable.
“You’re playing with fire, you little bitch,” he says.
For a moment, my resolve wavers, but I quickly steel myself. He won’t see me crumble. “What do you want, Ethan?”
“What do I want?” His tone sharpens. “Have you forgotten what I told you?”
I narrow my eyes. “Is that why you sent Vanessa to lock me up?”
Ethan sighs, shaking his head. “I didn’t do anything like that. Vanessa said you two had a fight and that you were angry, trying to get her in trouble. You lied.”
I laugh bitterly, glancing at Vanessa. “And you believe her?”
Ethan turns his attention to Vanessa, his eyes narrowing. “Is that true? You told me you didn’t. You reassured me, Vanessa.”
Vanessa shifts uncomfortably, her nervousness evident. “I didn’t, Alpha Ethan. I swear-”
“Shut the hell up, you liar,” I snap, cutting her off. Shaking my head, I step back. “I’m out of here.”
“Not so fast.” Ethan blocks my path, and I roll my eyes but stop.
“Remember, tomorrow is Christmas,” he says in a cold and deliberate tone. “And you remember what I told you. I don’t want to see you with him. That includes the dinner party tomorrow. You’d better show up alone, Aria. Don’t fucking test me.”
My heart leaps into my throat as his words sink in. Christmas is tomorrow. How could I have forgotten? And now, I have no choice but to face the reality…I need to make a serious decision.
