Johnny knew very well that he could easily hide this matter from Tilda.
But when faced with Tilda’s eyes, he always felt restless.

“What are you planning?” Mrs. Chow was shocked.
“Since she gave birth to your child, you have to take responsibility for her! The child of the Chow family cannot be left abandoned.” Mr. Chow paused for a moment and continued with restrained anger, “But before that, a paternity test must be done.”
He wouldn’t accept this girl if she wasn’t truly his granddaughter.
“I won’t marry her.”
Johnny stood upright, not even flinching when the doctor applied medicine to his wound.
“Then why did you get involved with her?! Why did you give her the chance to get pregnant?” Mr. Chow slammed the table in anger, not caring about the presence of an outsider, and scolded directly, “Johnny, I warned you before not to fool around. But had you ever listened to me? Now that trouble has arisen, all you can do is break things at home. You brought it upon yourself!”
“Enough,” Mrs. Chow quickly interjected, afraid that her son’s emotions would worsen.
Mr. Chow even scolded his wife together, “And you! You actually planned on helping Johnny hide it from Tilda! What were you thinking? I know you love your son, but she’s also Mr. and Mrs. Wales’ precious daughter! You’ve spoiled him, and you’re partly to blame!”
“It has nothing to do with Mom. She did nothing wrong,” Johnny spoke up hoarsely. “I won’t marry Caroline. I also… won’t bother Tilda anymore. Ulric’s new project is overseas. I will leave Northville City.”
He had made up his mind. Indeed, no one else could be blamed. His father was right. He brought it upon himself!
He would have to face the consequences himself!
Fortunately… he hadn’t caused a major disaster yet. He hadn’t married Tilda, which would have caused her a second injury.
“We can still do something to salvage the relationship between you two! Johnny, I’ll go to the Wales family now and speak on your behalf! Tilda is so good. She might change her mind if I talk to her! She checked her phone and exclaimed, “It’s Tilda! Tilda is calling me!”
Johnny immediately turned around as Mrs. Chow hurriedly answered the call.
Tilda’s hoarse voice came through.
“Mrs. Chow, I’m sorry to tell you that Johnny and I broke up.”
