“I already agreed to a dinner with her, let’s see if I can bound with her even after futile seven years!” Derrick thought and balanced his thoughts, “I need to make up for her! After all, what I did to her caused irreversible damages to her life!”
At exactly thirty minutes time…
General Derrick arrived at his villa, once he got down from the car, a grandwar master messenger walked up to him and saluted,
“Sir! There is an urgent meeting at the grandwar masters cabinet. Your attention is needed!” The grandwar masters messenger reported.
At that same time, General Derrick’s electronic pager beeped,
On navigating on the pagers display screen, he saw the invitation.
“Alright. I’m on my way!” He answered and eased the grandwar masters messenger.

Despite the war Delta city was facing, the damages only affected it’s border and outskirt. Delta city military defence was so good that the main districts of Delta city still operated normally without a hint of panic. The enemies can’t possibly infiltrate the city.

Anamika had already booked a room at the most luxurious hotel in Delta city. She had carefully made romantic arrangements for what she called dinner dates.
She had her tailor made her a fine dress that would make her appear super seductive enough that Derrick would find it extremely hard to resist looking at her. Infact, Anamika’s aim was to stimulate Derrick with her sight and figures and then probably get him to fuck her.
On a norm, Anamika had plastic surgery done on her body, making her super aesthetically valuable and wearing a beautiful well made seduction dress would make almost any man fall for her….
Anamika’s ulterior objective was to have Derrick’s body, heart and eventually to be his wife tonight.
For over the seven years now, Derrick has not touched her but he provides her with whatever she wants. This night was special to Anamika as it was the first night she would spending and eating dinner with him.
Anamika had felt so and too delighted to be Derrick’s fiance that she didn’t thought of all of these for the past seven years, not until Diana returned and patently may pose a threat to her benefits.
Anamika was truly absolutely terrified losing all the benefits she gets from being the five star generals fiance. Whatever, she wanted would definitely be delivered to her once she makes the request.
Is it a car? Funding of the Scott’s conglomerate? Or dresses? Jewels? Or authority and power? If she wanted all that, or wants to utilize all that, all she needed do is say the word or pick her favourite.
In seconds, she would get them without having pay a dime and this feeling was like floating in the clouds and being at the upper most top. Anamika never want to fall back to the ground as far as she lives.
“Since Derrick can’t make Diana treat my mother. I’ll have to make her do it once I marry Derrick!” Anamika smirked as she picked her phone and texted Derrick the location of where she reserved for the dinner date.
Besides, she already stroke a deal with Diana… peradventure she breaks the deal, Anamika thought she could still make her once the contract is passed into law after the signing.
At the thought of the possibilities and probabilities of of Diana and Derrick recognizing each other , Anamika told herself that she would never let something like “losing everything and getting forced to live her life the way she used to” happen. She had gotten too used to floating and being at the top.
“I can’t let Diana ruin it for me!” She bellowed.
At the grandwar masters conference cabinet…
General Laura wearing her well cut noble military uniform sat in her seat inside the meeting room. There were other salient high ranking military officers with their uniforms on, including the old and the young ex officers of Delta city military.
All of them were seated in their respective seats and the meeting room was filled up, only the main chair at the head of the table was unoccupied.
They were all clearly waiting for it to be occupied before the meeting proceeds further.
The grandwar kings and Masters all radiated a unparalleled superiority from head to toe, the god of war’s face were all cold and ruthless. No mercy could be seen in their dictionary.
While General Laura was seated and familiarizing with other high ranking military officers, she unwittingly met a pair of sharp yes belonging to a man like woman, probably in her late 20’s. Her badge attached to the left corner of her uniform sparkled three stars. Clearly, she was was a three star general. Diana was only one star ahead of her. She wouldn’t turn her gaze away from Diana and it kind of tickled Diana.
At this time, footsteps came in from outside the door as if there were still people coming in. The door of the conference cabinet was then pushed open and the first person who came in was a tall man with military/athletic build, imposing a strong aura. His five star general badge attached to his uniform glistened on top of his uniform. He looked noble and exuded a unparalleled superiority with his angular features. He radiated a powerful aura. After he came in, he walked over to the main chair at the head of the table and sat down.
Then his adjutant walked in, he was handsome, Diana thought.
Once be sat down, every other high ranking officers, Diana and the five star general inclusive stood up and sang the military national anthem.
After that, they said their pledges and the meeting began,
Without needing to say a word, General Derrick majestic aura and the respect he commanded made his powerful identity known to everyone, including the newly deployed military officers. He was a man like no other! The five star general Derrick.
The content of the meeting was about the next battle day, which apparently would be the final battle day.
The grandwar masters made a suggestion that they shouldn’t wait for their enemies to strike, rather they should strike first!
Some grandwar kings opposed the motion while the god of wars, Derrick inclusive supported it.
“What if they strike when our tropes are already deployed to the war front? Who would be left to defend our city?” A grandwar king in his late 50’s made a thoughtful objection. His grey hair and one eye that was covered with an eye patch spoke volume of how experienced he was.
He was shot in his left eye in a Battle he led during his prime…
As they deliberated on that matter, Diana was completely absent minded and when she raised her head, she met a pair of eyes as sharp as an eagles eyes staring at her like lion does to it’s prey. Many didn’t have the courage to look at him in the eyes because of his sharp burning gaze but, Diana had the courage to, and his eagle eyes reminded Diana of the eagle tattooed on the gigolos back from seven years ago.
From time to time, When Diana raises her head, she would find out that General Derrick was looking at her which made her unsettled.
