Chapter 680: Tony Scott’s New Girl

Ryder covered his face, silently staring at Mr. Prescott and his father. Internally, he was at a loss for words.
Gavin, knowing Ryder’s personality, immediately understood that Ryder must have instigated this whole mess. However, freshly seated as the head of the family, Gavin had no intention of backing down.
Hearing Gavin’s inquiry, Oliver Prescott deliberated for a moment before saying, “The Rocco family has stepped in. This won’t be easy to handle.”
The Rocco family. One of the most powerful families in the world. A family so immense that even Azure Cloud Resort couldn’t afford to provoke them.
Gavin sighed heavily and said, “Of course, I know this isn’t going to be easy. But I’ve just taken over as the head of the family. If I let my son be humiliated without responding, it would damage my authority.”
Hearing this, Ryder nodded enthusiastically. “Exactly, Dad! This isn’t just a slap to my face; it’s a slap to yours. I think we’ve been too low-key. People outside think the Walsh family is just a second-rate family.”
“Shut up!” Gavin roared at Ryder.
Ryder pursed his lips and obediently kept quiet.
Oliver Prescott, who was well-informed about everything that happened in the Western Frontier, frowned. “As far as I know, that Grant doesn’t have a master. Where would he suddenly get one?”
Ryder chimed in, “Exactly! That guy didn’t look like Grant’s master. He’s so young-probably even younger than Wolf. Thin, pale, and malnourished-looking. I mean, with such a beautiful girlfriend, anyone would be malnourished. If I were in his shoes, I’d probably be the same.”
“I think Mr. Rocco is just making this up. That guy can’t possibly be his master. He just wants to suppress me.”
“You didn’t go head-to-head with Mr. Rocco, did you?” Gavin asked, a hint of concern in his voice.
Ryder quickly shook his head. “Don’t worry, Dad. I may play around outside, but I know who to mess with and who to avoid. In our circles, there are rules. I wouldn’t dare provoke Mr. Rocco.”
Gavin nodded slightly. “That’s good.”
At that moment, Wolf, who had been standing silently on the side, finally spoke up. “Was that guy wearing a shirt and a pair of plain jeans? Handsome features, decent-looking?”
Ryder looked over at Wolf and shook his head. “No, he was wearing a trench coat-probably worth tens of thousands of dollars. But yeah, his features were sharp. Why? Do you know him?”
Wolf froze, recalling the first time he had seen Kayden. He’d been dressed similarly back then. Was it possible he had changed clothes? Wolf wasn’t sure, but a suspicion began to form in his mind.
“What’s wrong, Wolf? Do you think it’s him?” Gavin asked, his tone curious.
Wolf nodded slightly. “If I’m not mistaken, it’s him. He’s here.”
Gavin frowned and pulled out his phone, dialing the Alfredson family. Surprisingly, they didn’t pick up. Instead, they hung up on him outright. The action left Gavin stunned. This was his in-laws, after all.
A vague sense of unease began creeping into Gavin’s mind.

Outside Azure Cloud Resort
Azure Cloud Resort was nestled in the suburbs of Western Frontier, perched on a mountainside. At the foot of the mountain, cars had to stop, as visitors could only ascend on foot by climbing a long staircase. It was said to have 999 steps.
In truth, it might as well be called the “Thousand-Step Staircase.”
On the staircase, a man and a woman were walking together. The woman was ahead, while the man followed with a sly grin on his face.
“Mr. Scott, are you sure? Can the people at Azure Cloud Resort really find information about my dad?” the girl asked, her tone filled with doubt. It was the umpteenth time she had asked this question.
Tony Scott, feigning patience, replied, “Of course! Azure Cloud Resort is the most powerful place in all of Seclela. Forget your dad’s whereabouts-if you were looking for the most classified secrets of the state, they’d know.”
He smirked. “Let me put it this way: you’ve heard of the alien incident in ’99, right?”
The girl, Clara, shook her head. “No, I haven’t.”
Tony Scott’s confidence didn’t waver. “The ’99 alien incident was top-secret, classified information. But the people at Azure Cloud Resort know all about it. In other words, from astronomy to geography, there’s nothing they don’t know. Don’t worry. Whatever you want to find out, Azure Cloud Resort will give you the answer.”
In truth, Tony Scott had only heard rumors about Azure Cloud Resort’s reputation. As for the nonsense he was spouting about aliens and secrets, if the staff at Azure Cloud Resort heard him, they’d probably tell him to shut up.
Clara nodded earnestly. “Thank you so much, Mr. Scott. My mom’s in the late stages of cancer. Her only wish is to see my dad one last time. If we can find him and let them reunite before the end, I’d be forever grateful to you.”
Clara was petite and cute, with short hair, wearing black jeans and a white T-shirt. She was Tony Scott’s latest conquest.
Back in Hiphia, when Tony had witnessed Kayden leading an army into the abandoned factory, he’d been so terrified that he practically wet himself. Since that incident, he hadn’t dared to pursue Georgia anymore.
He had no idea what had happened in that factory, but after that day, he never saw Cheetah or Slim again. Even Damian Morgan had disappeared without a trace. And as for Kyler Clarkson, the man who had offended Kayden in Hiphia, he too vanished completely.
It seemed that everyone who had crossed paths with Kayden had simply disappeared.
Tony Scott didn’t know what had happened, but he was sure it had everything to do with Kayden. Thinking back on how he had tried to show off at the Adams family, he couldn’t help but cringe at the memory.
He considered himself lucky to have escaped unscathed. Among all those who had provoked Kayden, at least he was still alive. That alone was a miracle.
While he no longer dared to go after Georgia, that didn’t mean he’d stopped chasing women altogether. Case in point: Clara. She was his next target, and he was determined to win her over. If he helped her get information from Azure Cloud Resort, he’d finally get what he wanted.
Trailing behind Clara, Tony’s gaze lingered on her firm, petite figure. His throat dried as he swallowed hard. Soon, this woman would be his. And when that time came, he was going to enjoy her thoroughly.
Clara was from Zlando, a university student. Recently, Tony had been frequenting Zlando, mingling and partying. Clara hadn’t even been his target-she was someone his friend had his eyes on. But the moment Tony saw her, he decided to make his move. Now, he was throwing everything he had into winning her over.
