Liam O’Grady
All the way home, during the drive, the Mafia boss’s mind was elsewhere. At first, Paige came on very lovey-dovey, trying to cling to him, stroke his member through the jeans he had pulled on; but he snapped at her as he spun the car down the hill and she subsided in a sulky silence, checking her feed on Instagram or whatever else she did as she fiddled with her phone.
Suddenly, she turned to him, a look of spitefulness on her face as she purred mockingly,
“I guess I really spoiled that little wh*re’s day, huh Lee?”
He gritted his teeth silently. He hated it when she abbreviated his name and the reminder of how poor Bianca had looked as he had torn Paige off her, made him want to spin around and slam her head against the door, smash the teeth of the woman riding beside him. Unaware of his building rage, she chattered on,
“The look on her stupid face when I went after her!”
She sighed and settled down lower on her seat, trying to put her feet up, heels and all, on the dashboard, pushing her seat back.
O’Grady glowered. He held his cars as being precious things and he hated to see how she was treating the inside of his beloved bright blue Lamborghini Spyder. With a snarl, he hit her ankles hard and she yelped, dropping her phone.
Catching the look of fury on his face, she pouted but Paige knew about her lover’s devotion to his cars.
She sat up, pushing back her dirty blonde hair and blew at a whisp that fell over her forehead.
“You pis*ed at me or what, Mafia Man?’ she giggled, trying to imitate a gangster moll she had seen in a series a few days ago,
“Cos I beat up your little tart? Cos I won’t let you keep any little f*cking Latino pus*y in a little house when we get married, share basis or not.”

He grunted and brought the car to a sudden halt before the gates of her house. She turned to him, bewildered.
“Liam, Lee darling, I thought…”
He rubbed his jaw, trying to hide his irritation.
“Babe, I got work to do, see you.”
Paige lingered, unwilling to go back home. She wanted to be with him, hold him to her but she could see he was getting impatient.
“Fine,” she stormed, getting out in a huff,
“But I shall tell Daddy we’ve fixed the date for the wedding.”
She began to stomp off but Liam O’Grady was round the car suddenly, holding her arms in a flash.
‘Ah no, lass,” he said, his blue eyes glinting charmingly but she sensed the anger held tightly under control as he went on,
‘You cannae do that. I haven’t decided whether I want to marry you after all.”
And with a swift peck on her cheek, which was more of an insult, he was in the car and tearing off down the road, leaving her in a cloud of dust as she stared after him, shock and anger warring on her face.

Finn St Just was in his office when his brother stormed past.
Frowning, Finn tossed back his coffee, which was made the way he liked it, black and without sugar, before rising to his impressive height and lumbering after O’Grady.
As he closed the door, he raised his brows.
O’Grady was pouring out a generous drink of whiskey, one of his oldest, as he stood at eh bar.
He looked around at his brother, scowling.
St Just sighed as he lowered his frame into one of the leather armchairs.
“What’s up’ he asked for he could see his normally cool brother was in a state.
“Messed it up, man,’ growled his brother, frowning before settling down behind his desk.
“Paige got to the house…went for our pet.”
He threw his head back and tossed away the rest of the liquid before rising to his feet and going for a refill.

Finn St Just sat still.
His body went hot and then cold.
“What do you mean went after her?”
His voice was dangerously soft but O’Grady turned to look at him shamefacedly.
‘Hit her, the works. I had to pull the stupid c*nt off.”
St Just breathed harshly.
“And…is she hurt, our Pet?’ he asked.
O’Grady shut his eyes for a minute.
“I got Maria to give her some painkillers,” he said sulkily and St Just rose, his fists clenching.

He had never liked Paige and had a strong feeling that the minute she wedded O’Grady, she would do everything in her power to split the brothers. All she was after was money and the great s*x, too. For Laim O’Grady was a superb lover, masterful, dominating and yet, considerate. In fact, St Just had never seen him lose his control but last night, the night they had spent with their little virgin Pet, had shown St Just another side of his brother.
Liam O’Grady had been like a starved animal as he rode the little woman, taking her to the heights, but at the same time, roaring in satisfaction as he exploded in her. A sudden thought struck St Just and he looked at his brother as he growled,
“Have Sarah and John met her?”
Dr Sarah Pine and her partner, the esteemed advocate, John Black, were part of O’Grady’s group. While Sarah was the gynecologist who periodically checked the Pets the two Mafia Dons kept, her husband, John made sure that the legal documents signed by the Pets were always in order. He could baffle any amateur with his droning voice and detailed discussions but behind the bald head was a man with a very sharp mind.
O’Grady sighed. Both St Just and John Black had gently warned him against getting into any kind of alliance with Paige Hardy. But O’Grady’s desire to grow, to get political clout, had been the fact that had led to his charming Paige and leading her on. After this afternoon, he was thinking again. She would never tolerate a Pet in his life and he was not eh man who could be satisfied by Paige, that was the reality.
