April touched down in North City with Lydia Cordel.
The entire trip was spent with her pleasuring Lydia who suddenly became her mistress, while she worked hard to satisfy her sexual urges. April didn’t mind doing anything in exchange for her protection, but she hated how Lydia took what she wanted.
She soon realised the sort of bed play which intrigued her new boss and hated the fact she had to play the submissive to cater to her intrusive desires. April was hardly a submissive and having to embody that to a woman like herself infuriated her.
April noticed Lydia’s sudden change in demeanour as soon as they landed in North City. The air was warmer than South City and April looked forward to her time here.
“Remember,” Lydia ran the plan through to April, while looking through her phone. “You are my distant cousin from West City looking for a job as a security official.”
“Distant cousin from West City,” April repeated. “Got it.”
Lydia swallowed when she saw the fleet of black SUVs drive into the area. “They are here.” She said and April couldn’t help but notice her shaky hands.
One would think she would be happy to see her husband, or at least, just eager. She looked downright scared. Like she was walking into the arms of her nemesis.
April arched her brows in wonder. How powerful could this man be? She looked forward to having relations with him moving forward. An elderly-looking man stepped out of the prestigious car alongside other armed men.
“Lydia.” He said in a gruff tone, and she swallowed.
“Andre…” Before the words could leave her mouth, a hard slap was dished onto Lydia, nearly sending her to the ground. April’s eyes widened at the sudden assault.
“Why did you get caught?” The older man yelled in her face and dragged her by the hair. “You were supposed to leave South City that night. What held you? Huh? Why did you get caught?”
“It was a setup!” Lydia sobbed, suddenly powerless. The scene was a wonder to April who stood stiffly by the side. “That man set me up!” She cried, speaking of the failed mission that landed her in South City prison.
“I knew it was stupid to send a woman like you on such an important mission.” Andre Cordel, a renowned leader of a mafia gang in North City chastised. “Did you tell them anything?” He pressed further and she shook her head.
“I didn’t! I swear on my late mother’s grave. I did not betray you.” She grimaced from the pain of his hold. It took a few seconds for her husband to believe her words. He let her go, afterwards.
“Good girl.” He said and dragged her by the waist.
April was shocked as she watched the old man publicly kiss Lydia. The kiss was an irritating sight. It looked like he was slobbering all over her, trying to mark his territory.
Lydia was hesitant when her bipolar husband pushed her into the car, trying to get into her pants in public. It wasn’t the first time he’d tried it. Nor was it a foreign thing to her. She met April’s shocked eyes and felt ashamed.
After getting sold to Andre Cordel to repay her father’s death as a young girl, Lydia lived her life as the wife and sexual slave of the bipolar and abusive mafia don who used her however he pleased. She was robbed of her choice as well as her rights.
“Andre…” She subtly tried to stop him when he got to her undergarments. “We are outside…” She mused but he wasn’t having it.
“You are mine, I dictate when and where I will have you.” he roared, pushing her roughly against the car. “I don’t care who’s watching. You will take me and enjoy it like the slutty bitch you are.”
Andre was a madman. He was nicknamed the Madman of the North City underworld, inferior only to the Fernandez clan. Andre Cordel had one life goal. To become the top dog in the underworld.
He sought to expand his dark business and topple the Fernandez family which proved to be impossible, right from the days when the former Fernandez don ruled the underworld. Andre tried and failed to close the gap, and when Liam Fernandez took over, the gap was expanded to an impossible range.
He wasn’t giving up though. He spent every waking moment working towards his goal and dealing with his family however he liked. A family that Lydia was both a member and victim of.
Andre had his wicked way with Lydia right before his men and in the open. Only afterwards did he realise the presence of April, disguised as a man and standing out in the open.
Andre knew his men. He had a discerning and formidable memory despite his old age. A storm took over his face as he realised that the strangely beautiful man stepped out of the plane with his possessions.
“Who are you?” Andre buckled his belt but his eyes never left April. His tone was deadly and inspired fear in the heart of his hearers.
Lydia tried to get decent but when she saw the vengeful eyes of Andre, she immediately spoke. “He’s my..”
“I didn’t ask you!” Andre shut her up with a growl. “I asked the young man who stepped out of the plane with you.” He faced April. “Unless you are dumb-”
“Mario Castello,” April said with the most gruff voice she could manage. “Mrs Cordel’s distant cousin from West City.”
Andre gauged April with suspicion. “And how did you meet my wife?” He asked, “Why am I only finding out about your existence?”
Lydia felt her heart skip in fear. “I didn’t think he was alive.” She said. “I found her on the streets during my prison break and brought him along.”
Nervous sweat draped down Lydia’s waist as she thought of Andre catching on to her lie. She had a good relationship with the Cordel mafia family men in South City.
She was certain they would mirror her lie if push came to shove but she hoped that her tyrant husband wouldn’t notice anything out of the ordinary.
“Remember you promised to get me a servant. I thought he would be the best candidate since he is family and not stupid to do anything silly.” She chipped it in.
For the past year, Lydia complained to her husband about her desire to have someone around when he was away. This a desire that was well accepted as Andre was quite territorial and always believed Lydia was prone to crawling into others’ beds when he was away – Hence, he locked her up.
Andre ignored her and headed to April with a scrutinising gaze. After a minute of assessment, in which Andre caught the thin body of Lydia’s supposed cousin. He decided Mario was not a threat.
“Fine.” He spoke flippantly. “He will be your servant,”
Lydia was careful not to show too much excitement. “Thank you.”
“Let’s go.” Andre dragged Lydia into his car while muttering something along the lines of him looking quite malnourished.
April joined some guards in the car and they hit the roads.
