Stella, wearing a white coat, wanted to deceive Griffon, but when she touched his cold eyes, she wisely abandoned the idea.
“The report is true. You have no blood relation with Taya. So, it was pointless for you to ask me to falsify the report.”
Griffon breathed a sigh of relief at Stella’s words, and his tense nerves relaxed in an instant.
His tall and straight back leaned against the sofa, and his face, which had been pale for two consecutive days, gradually regained its rosy color.
Seeing him looking relieved, Stella smiled again and said, “Griffon, if I accidentally let something slip while chatting with Taya…”
Griffon’ cold, snowy eyes suddenly lifted, “Pick any of the twelve villas in the east of the city. This matter will stay with you forever!”
He didn’t want Taya to know about his despicable methods. Otherwise, the image of a good husband that he had worked so hard to build in her heart would be completely destroyed.
Stella laughed out loud this time, “You’re really willing to go all out for Taya. But I have a criminal record. Even if I accept the villa, I might still blabber.”
record…
Griffon quickly realized that Stella was trying to oppose him today because he had ‘tested’ her in the laboratory earlier. However, he said, “The evidence of your falsifying the report is solid. There’s no way to wash it away.”
Stella: …
Griffon didn’t bother to see Stella’s reaction and left after saying this.
If Griffon and Taya were not related by blood, then who was the person that the Carmine pack had adopted as their mother?
After the DNA test report came out, Griffon took Taya back to Knight’ old mansion.
Dominic was sitting in the living room, making tea. When he saw the two of them come in hand in hand, his face turned black and he threw the tea cup heavily on the table.
“You have the nerve to come here.”
Dominic was referring to Taya. She glanced at the old man but didn’t say anything. Griffon, on the other hand, walked straight up to Dominic with Taya in tow and threw the report at him.
“Read it yourself.”
Griffon’ attitude towards the old man had always been cold and
indifferent, and Dominic was used to it. He took back his disdainful gaze at Taya and picked up the report.
When he saw the results displayed on it, the old man’s gloomy expression softened slightly, but it was fleeting and was soon replaced by a look of suspicion.
“Could this be a fake report?”
After flipping through it a few times, the old man threw it back on the table and looked up at Griffon. “The hospital is yours. It wouldn’t be difficult for a doctor to produce a fake report.” Upon hearing this, Taya remembered Griffon’ reaction to the report earlier, which was not very enthusiastic. This made her subconsciously glance at Griffon.
The man beside her, however, showed no guilty conscience and instead refuted Dominic expressionlessly, “Believe it or not, I’m just here to inform you that my wife and I have no blood relation. Don’t meddle in our affairs in the future.”
After speaking, the man pulled her away. The old man’s cold snort came from behind, “Your mother’s name is Ashley, she’s Adam’s daughter, and her mother’s name is Sumasa, also born to Adam. Do you think I’ll believe your DNA report that says you have no blood relation?”
Taya stopped in her tracks upon hearing this and turned to look at Dominic, who was sitting upright and serious. “Mr. Knight, I told you before that my mother is most likely not from the Carmine pack. If she’s not from the Carmine pack, then Griffon and I naturally have no blood relation.”
Dominic gave her a glance. “You said it’s most likely. Don’t tell me something uncertain like that. I want evidence.”
Taya asked him, “So if I can prove that my mother is not from the Carmine pack, you won’t interfere in our affairs anymore?”
Dominic nodded subconsciously along with her words. By the
2/3
time he realized it, A had already smiled brightly. “Okay, I’ll go get the evidence now,”
Seeing that confident smile, Dominic wanted to say something about the matter of pup, which he still had to intervene in, but he saw Taya walking away with Griffon.
“How rude, she didn’t even wait for me to finish talking.”
Coming and going in a hurry, what do they think the Knight pack mansion is?
After the two got into the car, G helped her fasten her seatbelt and asked her, “How are you going to get the evidence?”
Taya smirked and replied, “It’s simple. Herb and I will do another identification test to prove that I am not from the Carmine pack.”
It’s just a process of elimination. This way, we can quickly find out which one of their mothers is not from the Carmine pack.
Taya suspected that Sumasa was not from the Carmine pack, so she and Herb went to do the test, and Griffon didn’t need to go.
But how can they get a strand of Herb’s hair?
With this in mind, Taya took out her phone, found Herb’s number, and sent him a text message to arrange a meeting.
Griffon saw this and her bright eyes dimmed slightly. “Why bother with all this trouble? Just kidnap him.”
That’s too crude and violent for Taya’s laste. “We only need one strand of hair. Do we really need to be so rough with your cousin?”
The word “cousin” made Griffon pause for a moment, as if he had just realized something. “He’s my cousin, so Johnny is…”
Taya smiled and nodded. “That’s right. Johnny is also your cousin. How do you feel about suddenly having two younger brothers? Isn’t it wonderful?”
