EPISODE FIFTY SIX.
HAZEL’S POV.
A week Later.
DINNER PARTY.
“Do you think this dress will fit me? I think I became bigger.”I mumbled, watching Stefano as he dressed up through the mirror.
“You wouldn’t have looked any better Hazel, trust me.”He chuckled, walking over to me.
I sighed tiredly, staring back at the mirror.
I can’t believe I’ve gained all the weight I tried losing months ago, It’s so frustrating, even though, Stefano wouldn’t mind, I can’t help but feel overly conscious of myself.
“You’re carrying a baby, Hazel. What do you expect?”He chuckled, grabbing my waist and he pulled me closer to him.
“I know, I…”
“I love you, irrespective of any form you are. You will always be that cute Hazel.”He cut me off calmly, locking our lips together.
His hands roamed aimlessly on my back as the kiss deepened. Sparks rummaged through my body, shearing of the insecure thoughts I had in mind.
There’s just something about the way Stefano kisses me, it’s so magical, yet soothing.
Suddenly, the door flung open, I tried unlocking from the kiss to check the person at the door but he didn’t let me, instead, he continued kissing me while his hand worked on my sleeveless dress.
“Are you guys going to spend all the night here? We have a party.”Amanda bickered, throwing a punch on Stefano’s back but he didn’t budge.
I chuckled into the kiss and finally removed his hand from my body. “Sorry.”I mumbled, blushing.
Stefano groaned aloud while Amanda walked up to me. He gave me one last stare and sighed, as if he didn’t want me to leave his sight.
“You look so good.”She compliments, running her hand over my bump.
“Thank you.”I mumble, grinning.
“I think your lipstick got smeared, let’s touch it up for you.”
“Sure, thank you.”
Grabbing my bag, I waved Stefano’s goodbye and left with her.
It’s our first year anniversary today and it’s been a heck of an activity going around.
Stefano’s Mom has been preparing for it for the past one month without my knowledge. She’s so giddy up to see her one and only son celebrating such a great feat.
She came up to our house this morning with a brand new car for me, clothes, bags and every other things I haven’t even unboxed yet, Amanda and Meghan got me beautiful dresses and makeup kits. I don’t know what Stefano has in stock for me but I hope it’s worth it.
We started our morning with the most wholesome sex ever, and it couldn’t get any better, we managed to take few breaks in between until it was time for rhe dinner.
We are so insatiable.
Grinning all through as I walked hand in hand with Amanda, she threw me few glances and ended up chuckling.
“What?”She asked aloud, rolling her eyes.
“I don’t know, I guess I’m just so happy to be here.”I bit my lips shyly.
She nodded, laughing.
I took a car with them while Stefano joined Luca.
We will be having the dinner party in the house he just bought.
Getting there, Stefano was waiting for me outside. “Hey.”I mumbled, biting his lips as I run towards him.
“I told you not to run anymore.”He scolds, pushing my hair back gently.
“Are we starting now?”
“Yes, but I need to tell you something.”He muttered, a glimpse of uneasiness flashed on his face.
“Okay.”I drawled, waiting for him to talk but instead, he pulled me towards the other room which is at the backdoor of the hall.
Getting there, Stefano put his hand under my arms and lifted me up on the high table there.
“What are you doing?”I asked, confused as I shoved my hand into his well laid hair.
“You know, Hazel. Life can be so unpredictable. I can’t believe the girl I once hated for making me marry her changed me from being a dick to a responsible man. It’s just so crazy.”He chuckled, moving into me more.
He parted my lap and moved in between my legs, kissing me all over my face.
“Jamal. What’s happening?”
“I’m sorry, Hazel. For everything I’ve done, for hurting you, I wish I could turn back the hands of time and make things more better between us. I…”
“It’s fine. We were all here because of me, the marriage happened because of my choices, I was prepared for the worse, but it didn’t happen, and now we’re here, celebrating our first year anniversary, we’re even having a baby, Jamal. We will be having a little version of us. I can’t be in a better position than where I am right now.”I prodded, running my hands all over his face.
His hands moved to my belly slowly and raised my gown up, Stefano lowered his head to my frame and kissed the little swell of my belly. Slowly, I felt drops of warm tears on my abdomen as they streamed down to my underwear.
As if he was taking the steps carefully, he slowly pulled down my panties and pressed his lips on my vagina. It felt so cold, yet, excruciating.
Is he taking me here again?
“I love you so much, Hazel. More than you ever think, I hope you will put this at the back of your mind that I will never do anything to hurt you. Never.”He whispered, his lips still on me, he didn’t do anything.
After what seems like forever, Stefano raised his head which is already a mess due to the tears on his face, my lips trembled slightly as I cleaned it off his face.
Anxiety started creeping in me, making me feel uneasy.
“Is there something going on?”I asked, rubbing on his lips.
“No, I just have some unfinished business to do.”
“There’s no unfinished business, Stefano. It’s over, please, stop.”
“I know.” Staring at him deeply, I realized there’s more to whatever he’s saying to me.
He’s hiding something from me again, He’s always been secretive but I felt he laid out all the cards with him after he learnt about our baby. Why do I feel so uneasy because of what he just did to me?
“I love you so much.”He mumbled.
And days to come later, I waited for Stefano to come to the back of the hall where we were supposed to celebrate our anniversary, to tell me he loves me, and promise he will never depart.
But he didn’t, because after our little bonding on the night of our anniversary.
I never saw him again, I lost Stefano, before I even had him.
He died, my father killed him.
