AMELIA.
I looked around the environment I stood in with wary eyes. I was not sure if I had made the right decision to come to this place, but one thing I knew was that I wanted to try it out. I was not the impulsive type; I always thought decisions out to the best of my capabilities.
But here I was. I was so tired of the life I was living. I was tired of the way everybody around me was treating me. Hence, the reason I accepted the offer of the dark witch. She gave me a secret location to meet her, and here I was.
In this very creepy environment that I’d love to get out of soon, it felt like a voodoo would jump out at me anytime soon. The cave was dark, with different strange flowers coiling itself into the corners of the cave.
And this fog was in the cave; it made it impossible to see if someone was coming except you heard the footsteps.
Oh lord, I’m only trying to change the way I look, not die before I even start.
Something moved to my right, and my neck could have broken with how fast. I whipped my head to see what it was. I don’t scare easily, but this place gave me a really scary horror aesthetic.
Let me make it back home safely, dear lord. I prayed within myself and tried my best to stand there without shaking.
A few seconds or minutes later, I heard footsteps moving towards me, and I finally breathed in relief. Even though I didn’t know who was coming, I was happy that someone was here to share the space with me.
But I hoped it was the witch because I really wanted to get out of there soon.
After the slow and agonizing seconds that she used to walk up to me, she finally showed her face, and yes, it was the dark witch from my dreams. I had many questions, but I was taken aback by how pretty the woman was.
She had a banging body and very porcelain skin. Damn.
I saw how outlined her waist was from the cropped material she wore. In short, she was so pretty.
“Hello, beautiful Amelia.” She said in a sweet tone that made me smile a little.
“Hello,” I replied, still astonished by everything I was seeing.
“I’m sure you have many questions.” She said with a raised eyebrow, and I nodded.
“Yes, I do,” I replied to her.
“Let’s hear them.”
“How did you know about me?” I asked her, and she smiled with some weird glint in her eyes.
“I’m not a genie, sweetheart; I’m a witch. I basically seek the atmosphere and consult the earth to lead me to people who are in need.” She said, and I sighed, a frown still on my face.
“So, are you saying that you just wanted to help me without knowing who I was or anything like that?” I asked her.
“Also, I don’t go around helping people. I only help the people that I feel I should. Plus, I mostly help when it comes to body size problems. You see, I used to be like you before my mentor saw me and also passed down the mantle to me. I was a big bloated sac of potatoes, but here I am now. Confident as ever.” She said, and I nodded, understanding a bit of her mission now.
“So, you’re just a dark witch that wants to help to be curvy?” I asked her.
“Yes, sweetheart.”
“I don’t want to believe that all of this is for free; there’s definitely a catch,” I said, frowning.
“Yes, you should never think anything is for free in this world because there’s absolutely nothing that is for free. So yes, there is a catch.” She said.
“And what would that be?” I asked her.
“It’s just a little something. I’ll let you know when the time comes.” She said, and I was not comfortable with it.
“I’m not sure I’m comfortable with making a deal without knowing what the catch is on my end,” I told her, and she laughed.
“Girl, I’m doing you a favor. Are you in or out?” She asked me with a different tone this time around. A tone that sent chills all over my body.
It was like she was telling me that there were far more important things to do than stand here and have a chit-chat discussion with me whereby I ask her questions like I was some investigator.
“Yes, yes. I am in.” I said without thinking.
“So, how would you like me to help in giving your dream body?” She asked me, and I smiled, imagining the body that I saw on Dylan’s screen.
“My thighs are too big; I want them to be very slim and curvy. My arms, too; I don’t like how big they are. I want to be slim and thick. Slim, but curvy and beautiful.” I told her, and she smiled.
“Hmmm. I like that. You’re not that bad. If you were to work on just your stomach and your waist, girl, you’d have men lining up to have you.” She said, laughing to herself as she looked me up and down.
“I don’t want my thighs to be this big,” I told her, remembering how Dylan used to praise me.
Dylan always told me that my thighs were beautiful. I was always covering them up because of the stretch marks that I had on them, but each time I was with Dylan then, he always told me they were beautiful but I was very conscious of how they looked.
They didn’t look beautiful to my eyes. It was… disgusting. A flaw I had no choice than to accept because there wasn’t any cure to stretch marks.
I had browsed online and tried every possible skin care, skin treatment and herbs yet none of it worked. But now, I had an offer before me. An offer to change every damn thing I loathed about myself so I could look like the perfect girl on Dylan’s wallpaper.
I remember when Dylan would even buy short skirts for me, saying things like I look beautiful in them. But I guess all of that was a joke. Seeing as he just saw me as a charity case as he never loved me.
The thought brought tears to my face once again, but I held it in. This was not the time or the right place to cry over an heartbreak.
After taking in a deep breath, I opened my eyes to see the witch staring at me. Something was whirling in the depths of her eyes, but I didn’t catch what it was.
“Whatever you want, my darling. Now, are you ready to transform into the most beautiful woman he has ever seen?” She asked me, and excitement bubbled within me. It was finally happening.
“Yes, I am ready.” I replied and straightened up.
