Chapter 65
Furious
***
Leila felt her entire body tremble in both pain and anger.
She was in the middle of processing everything that she found out and it seemed like her body couldn’t take the shock any longer. She didn’t know how long she had been staying there.
And she didn’t know how long she could still stay there.
At least she had to find somewhere she could stay in.
However, her body just wouldn’t move and allow her to go and find herself with a decent place to take a rest with.
Her mind was still in a race to think about what she had to do next. Even planning her revenge. And processing her every emotion that was lingering in her heart.
But her body was already too tired to even take it all in.
She had to take a break. She had to stop and let her body rest.
However, she couldn’t.
No matter how much she tried, she couldn’t.
Her memories were playing inside her head like a broken stereo. And it was making her body particularly her heart stay in pain and anger.
She clenched her hands into balled fists as she tried to take a deep breath and closed her eyes firmly.
But nothing…
Her heart still filled with so many intense emotions negative emotions lingering within her.
She murmured a low curse under her breath.
“Leila…” Silver called her name but she gritted her teeth as her mind were filled with thoughts of revenge.
“You have to stay calm…” Silver tried to tell her but she sneered at her.
“You have no idea how I am trying my best to stay calm, Silver.” She snapped at her.
“Believe me… I know. But you have to try harder.” Silver retorted back causing her to be angrier.
She groaned in both frustration and sarcasm.
“Oh, yeah… Yeah, right. You know. But look at what you’re saying. You should be the one who knows me better, right? You should be the one who is trying to comfort and support me, but what are you trying to say? I am trying my best to stop this anger and pain, but it just wouldn’t stop.” She frustratedly stated as her tears fell from her eyes again.
“I… I am so broken right now, Silver. M-My father… My p-poor father…” She uttered painfully causing Silver to keep her silence inside her.
Silver didn’t even know how to comfort her anymore. She didn’t know how to sooth her brokenness. But she didn’t want Leila getting so livid or broken. She didn’t want that to happen because it was making her thrilled. It was fueling her eagerness to take over her.
And it would be very dangerous for Leila.
She had to contain herself. She had to be calm and collected. She had to restrain and manage her emotions.
But she could feel her strong will to take revenge… Her pain was fueling her anger… And it was making her excited.
“How about Hunter?” She suddenly brought it out hoping that it was enough to stop her and halt her chaotic and messy emotions.
And that did it.
Her silence calmed her.

Leila, on the other side, was dumbfounded because of Silver’s words.
Bitterness started to creep in into her heart. But there was more to it than that.
Loneliness.
Disappointment.
Pain.
Regret.
There were a lot more emotions that laced with just a mere mention of Hunter’s name.
But above all, it was the feeling of agony and disappointment.
Not for Hunter but for the cunning fate that brought them together.
She fell for someone that she shouldn’t be. She fell for a man whose parents had killed her father. She fell for someone whose parent’s hands were soiled with her father’s blood.
And it was giving her that kind of agony that was breaking her core.
However, there was also numbness now.
Slowly, she was being consumed by the void emotions as she tried shutting all of those emotions inside her.
Until all was left was grief, pain, and strong will to take revenge.
“You know that filling me with so much negative emotions could be dangerous for you, Leila…” Silver’s voice resonated in her mind warning her.
“I know…” She murmured under her breath.
Because she knew that.
But what could she do?
Those were the raw emotions that she was feeling right now.
“You have to be careful…” Silver reminded her making her nod her head in agreement.
Leila mapped herself with the plans that she wanted to do.
However, thoughts about Hunter were clouding her mind.
She gritted her teeth as she realized that this wouldn’t do her any good.
Hunter is part of the family who killed her father.
It was her parents!
For goodness’ sake!
She had to take revenge!
And she had to bury whatever feelings she had for him.
She remembered her father.
Her eyes moistened with tears as her heart filled with so much pain, longingness, and anger.
Then, an unfamiliar scent filled her nose.
Silver was growling inside her yelling at her about danger.
She pursed her lips together as she looked around and found a man with swollen eyes looking at her.
He had this mischievous and sly smirk pasted on his lips.
“Oh, look at what we have here… What a lucky day for me…” He stated creepily.
Leila clenched her jaw as she felt Silver who was growling inside her, wanting to take over her.
“It looks like someone found you why not take it all on him to calm your raging nerves, Leila… Perhaps, that would help you a bit.” Silver suggested causing her canines to bare.
But the man in front of her which seems to be a rogue smiled at her eerily.
For a moment, she felt shiver down her spine.
But in a snap, she jumped as her bones snapped and let Silver take over her.
She couldn’t stop her satisfaction upon seeing the man’s mouth slightly fell apart as he saw her wolf form.
Leila, in her wolf form, let out a deep, loud and furious growl ready to attack.
