Gosh! Why does he always have to test me like this? I have no idea what his favorite color is, and it’s not like I am supposed to have that in mind anyway.
I am only here to be his Luna, the Luna of the great New Dawn Pack, not some loving housewife who has all her husband’s hobbies and favorite things on her mind.
“I am really disappointed in you Lucy, we have known each other for six years, and we have been engaged for five years. We had plans of completing the mating process and publicly announcing our relationship this year, but yet you don’t even know my favorite color,” he spoke softly, with disappointment in his tone.
“No Logan, that’s not the case. Actually I do know your favorite color but my mind is messed up right now due to the little drama earlier, that is why I can’t remember. Please forgive me for this mistake,” I pleaded.
He remained silent, staring at me. What could be going on in his mind?
I went closer to him, making an appealing puppy face. If I had known, I would have not suggested getting him an attire, I should have just left him in what he was wearing.
“It’s alright, since you don’t know my favorite color, allow me to stay in this robe I am wearing.”
Even though he tried to mask his emotions with that poker face, I could still tell that he was upset.
“Are you mad at me?” I queried.
“No Lucy, I am not.” He smiled. I am sure that was a fake smile.
“So what do you plan to do today?” I asked.
If he plans to spend the whole day at home, then this is my opportunity to achieve my goals faster. I will make him get drunk with wine then lay with him while he is unconscious, that way we stand more chance at procreating.
Once I get pregnant with his baby, then my position here will be secured, not even his soulmate will be able to take him away from me. If she succeeds in stealing his heart, she would not succeed in stealing the position of Luna because the one who has a child with him would be Luna, and my son would be the next Alpha.
“I want to go to my home office and do some important work, so please excuse me and make sure that no one disturbs me there,” Logan replied.
I was disappointed. Maybe I would postpone my plans of getting him drunk to some other day.
“Alright, you can go on,” I said sadly.
He turned towards the door and walked out. I sighed and also left the room. I went to the guest room and lay on the bed thinking about my life.
A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. I already knew who it was even before I caught his scent.
I mumbled some inaudible curses then stood up and went to the door. How did he even know I was here? He must have been following me around.
I opened the door to meet Simon standing there. He walked in with an evil smile on his face.
“What do you want?” I asked with my arms folded, the door was still open.
“I have come here to sympathize with you.” He smirked.
“Hold your fake sympathy, I don’t need it.” I retorted.
He really knows how to add salt to my injury.
“Okay, since you don’t want my sympathy, then I would mock you instead,” he fired.
I chuckled sarcastically. “Go ahead, is that not the real reason why you are here?” I queried.
He laughed and sat on the bed. “So let’s get this straight, you were actually not able to kill that human girl and now Logan thinks she is his soulmate?” He asked with a smug expression on his face.
I knew he was eavesdropping and spying on me back there.
“Well, I asked you to help me kill her and you refused, so why are you asking now like you care?” I half-yelled.
Logan’s Chambers is far from here, so I have nothing to worry about, he won’t be able to know what goes on here.
“Oh really? Well I thought you were capable of killing that human, that is why I left it to you. I had no idea that you were a weakling,” he laughed.
“Shut up you fool, I am not a weakling, I have never been and I will never be.” I retorted.
“Then why are you not able to kill an ordinary human?” He queried.
I sighed. “She was no longer human, Simon, she had become a werewolf,” I confessed.
“What? She suddenly became a werewolf? Now that makes sense, her powers must have been sealed all this while, that is why her connection with Logan wasn’t strong then. But her pheromone must have become more powerful, and that is why Logan recognised her as his mate,” Simon said intelligently, taking his words one after the other
“I don’t really care how strong her pheromone has grown, or if she is truly Logan’s mate. I just wont let her succeed with her plans to steal away Logan from me,” I muttered.
“Tell me, what could you possibly do? You could not get rid of her when she was human, so what makes you think you would succeed now that she is a werewolf and Alpha Logan Stewart’s mate.
Just forget about your unrealistic dreams, Logan does not belong to you, he has rejected you which means we don’t have to hide our relationship anymore. We should come out in the light and let everyone know that we are in Love.”
I burst into laughter after hearing that.
“You and who is in love? You are such a joker. For your information, you were just a sex instrument for me, even though you were not functioning properly, I just kept managing you till I was tired of you. So don’t get ahead of yourself, now leave this place you worthless Gamma!!” I yelled.
The smile on his face faded immediately and he stood up from the bed.
“You can insult me all you want, but it won’t make you Luna. You can bet on that, you would come running back to me eventually!” He fired and stormed out in anger.
I chuckled. I would rather die than get mated to him.
I closed the door, then went back to the bed in thoughts.
Right now, I hate Crystal Lennox more than ever, she has ruined my life and I must get back at her. But how do I go about it? How can I make Crystal leave Logan?
Since it has proved abortive to make Logan leave Crystal, then I have to make Crystal leave Logan, I have to make her hate him so much that she would not want to see him with her own eyes. I will make her regret knowing him.
She would not want to even cross the same path with him or breathe in the same air that he breathes, and I think I know just how to do that.
The solution to my problem is jealousy! I have seen the look in her eyes when she sees me with Logan, that is simply jealousy and I need to exploit it to my advantage. I need to make her get jealous and hate Logan in the process, then she would leave him forever.
All I have to do is think of how to implement the plan, I need to find a way to bring it to reality.
