In order to stop Logan from looking around and finding Aidan, Crystal quickly held him by his cheeks and pressed her lips on his.
Her eyes widened the moment she kissed those mushy lips. She felt those electric sparks erupt in her body. That taste of liquor and mint lingered on his lips.

Logan was surprised by the sudden attack on his lips, he had always been the one to initiate a kiss between them, apart from three years ago at that club.
He was not expecting it but he had no intentions of stopping her either. Why would he anyway?
This is what he always wanted, he was just surprised on why she was doing it. Does it mean she has accepted his proposal?
Crystal pushed him backwards slowly and opened the back car door, then she made him get into the car and closed the door immediately.
The driver without waiting for the instruction drove off.

Crystal’s step parents smiled at each other when they saw Crystal and Logan kissing. That scene had confirmed their suspicion on Crystal’s relationship with the Alpha.
Now they were certain that the two were dating. If not, why would they kiss each other in public, then leave in the same car?
But their mission was not complete yet. Her step parents thought that if Logan found out that he had a son, that he would be willing to do anything to have his heir with him, and they intended to use that to their advantage.
A plan that they had been scheming for years. With the help of the Alpha, it could come to reality.
“What do you think?” Her stepdad queried.
Her stepmom was the brain behind their operations. She was more desperate to achieve their goals than her mate. She was quick to think of a plan, one that would reveal Aidan’s existence to Alpha Logan Stewart.
“Aidan my boy, would you like to speak with your mother?” The cunning old lady asked.
Her husband smiled immediately as he had realized what his wife was up to, till this date he had never regretted getting married to her, they were birds of the same feathers, so how could they ever have issues?
“Yes big mummy, can I talk to her please?” The little Aidan pleaded.
In everything that the old couple were scheming, they were careful not to put themselves in the picture. That way Crystal won’t be able to pin the blame to them if something went wrong.
Crystal’s stepmum brought out her phone and dialed Crystal’s number.

Alpha Logan Stewart wanted to continue what Crystal had started outside the car when they got in, and Crystal did not refuse him either.
Even though the real reason why she had initiated the kiss was to stop Logan from seeing his illegitimate son, Aidan. She also enjoyed the feeling of his lips on hers.
As much as she hated to admit it, she had longed for those lips ever since the other night he had made her kiss him. She wanted more of it, and this was the perfect opportunity for it.
However she tried her best to restrain herself so as not to give Logan the impression that she badly wants him. She did not want him to think of her as a lustful, power hungry, seductress like he has done in the past.
So when they had gotten into the car, she waited for Logan to make the first move which he did.

It felt like she had awakened the deepest lust in him and he couldn’t fight.
Logan crushed her lips hungrily and her mind froze momentarily. He did not mind that the driver was in the car and why would he care about that anyway?
The man was paid to drive his car, so that should be his only business.

Crystal and Logan’s little romantic moment was ruined by an incoming call from her stepmother.
Crystal thought that the old couple might still be searching for her in college so she decided to pick up and inform them that she had left.
She wondered why they had even come there in the first place, she had mentioned in the morning that she would be going to work from college, so why did they come looking for her?
She thought that something might have happened, that they thought it would be necessary to come and see her.
Crystal answered the call and put the phone to her ear, while Logan sat close to her, patiently waiting for her to end the call.
If it was up to him, then he might have thrown the phone out of the car window, but he needed to control himself. Especially now that she came to him on her own accord.
“Hello Mum, Good afternoon,” Crystal greeted.
“Hi Crystal, we just wanted to know if you have left school already, because we are at your school right now.” Her stepmother said.
With that statement, Crystal confirmed that they had not seen her back then when Aiden was calling out to her.
“What happened mum? Is everything alright?” Crystal asked curiously.
She was scared that something could have happened to Aidan that warrants them coming to find her at college.
“No, not at all Crystal. We had picked Aidan up from school and he was crying that he would like to see his mother, so we thought we should bring him to see you before you left for work.” Her stepmom replied from the other side of the phone.
“Oh, I see. Well I already left college mum, I’m on my way to work right now.” Please tell him not to worry and I will be back early today,” she said.
She wondered why the sudden change in Aidan, he never cried over little things or complained in her absence in the past. After he had even complained today, she had promised to spend the weekend with him, so why would he act the way he is doing now?
Perhaps something had happened, that made him want to see her. He was a smart little boy and his brain was way older than his age.
“Mommy!!” Crystal suddenly heard his little voice sound from the other side of the phone and her heartbeat picked race.
If she had heard him this clearly, then she had no doubt that the Alpha Wolf must have heard him too.
She became nervous and darted her eyesight towards Logan. She saw those curious eyes staring at her and her body shivered.
Logan must have overheard the baby’s voice. That would be a third time, something related to Aidan had happened in his presence and she feared he would confirm his suspicions this time around.
She had managed to pull a stunt and survive the previous times, but now she doubted she would get out of this one. Her game was certainly over!
