The flight was long especially since Bruno wasn’t there to help her with the boys, Logan hardly gave her a hard time containing Liam was the problem. Jorge was waiting for them when they landed late that night the twins are awake and cranky as hell the whole drive home they were crying to get out of their seats, the long flight really got to them she’ll have to bath them before bed. Margarita truly is a godsend she helped Sage with the boys and even put them to bed, she herself needed a bed the boys has worn her out with their grouchiness. Margarita brought her a nice hot cup of tea after her bath, Sage relish every drop before going to bed she called Bruno but his phone takes her straight to voice mail she left him a message saying they arrived safely and whenever he can he should give her a call, not long after she fell into a deep sleep.
She woke late the following day after her shower she went downstairs to have breakfast with the boys but Margarita told her they already ate. She asked Jorge if he can take her to go and see Kim after breakfast.”What a pleasant surprise. Come on in.”Their house was beautiful and Sage told her so.”I didn’t expect to see you back so soon.”
“I didn’t tell you I left so I can assume you read the paper.”Bruno had made front page in Athens the morning after the launch of his airline, the party he’d organised only the rich and famous had attend a few pictures of the event had been published and the one where she was standing on stage with Bruno had been in there.
“Your hubby is a very successful man, he makes waves where ever he goes how can one not see his success. I love the picture of you two together in the paper you make a beautiful couple. How was Athens.”Sage told her all about the trip. “Lucky fish, I wish I was there after our weekend away I’ve been wanting to go on another vacation again.”
“Then why don’t you?”
“Luca has work ever since he became co-owner of the firm he’s working at things have been a bit hectic, he spends long hours at work. He tries his best to juggle both I’m not complaining though whenever he is here he gives me his full attention.”
“I know the feeling the trip to Greece showed me how hard Bruno really works. And why didn’t you tell me Luca owns half of the firm he’s working at.”
“You weren’t here. Gina called have you spoken.”
Sage shook her head.”No. Is something wrong?”
“No she couldn’t get hold of you so I told her where you are she said to let her know when you’ll be back.”
“I’ll call her tonight. I see pregnancy is treating you good, you’ll show soon.”
“I’m dreading that day, I can’t picture myself being big. Will I look like you after the birth I hope I’ll be able to get rid of all the baby fat, I wouldn’t want Luca to run a mile when he’ll see me naked.”Sage smiled.”How did you do it.”
She remembers how self conscious she’d been before sleeping with Bruno. “There’s nothing a few hours in the gym won’t fix. Are you up for some yoga later Bruno isn’t here so it’s kinda boring at the house.”
“I wouldn’t say no, Luca went to New York for a case he’s working on I’m only expecting him back tomorrow. Where’s Bruno.”
“He had to fly to Belgium for work, I have no clue when he’ll be back.”
“What time should we meet up?”Kim asked.
“Around six the boys are in bed by then.”
“I’ll come by the house. Should I bring my own equipment.”
Sage shook her head.”No need. I have extra at home.”Bruno had made sure to buy her new yoga equipment so she can join him in the gym every morning and as always he went extreme and bought everything extra.
“Thanks for stopping by I missed talking to you.”
“Me too, I’ll see you later.”They exchanged hugs and kisses on her way home Gina called their call lasted for a few minutes. She told Sage they have a date set for their wedding early next year she wants Sage to be her maid of honour she’s already asked Kim too and she has agreed. Bruno also called her later that day to see how they were doing.”We’re fine. How are you?”
“Missing you. I hate being away from you because I cannot touch you or hold you or make love to you.”
“You’re gonna make me long for you even more. Don’t torture me with your words.”
“It’s torture being away from you my queen. What are you up to.”
“Nothing much Kim is gonna stop by we’ll be doing yoga.”

“I’ll try my best.”She kept herself busy until Kim will arrive for their yoga session not that anything helped it’s so hard to keep her sexy husband out of her head. She decided to help Margarita prepare dinner for tonight she’ll ask Kim to stay and join her eating alone wasn’t doing it for her anymore. Their yoga session went well, dinner too Kim said she’ll come again tomorrow night and Sage agreed it’s nice having a yoga partner someone you can talk to and it would help pass the days until Bruno comes home. Carmen called her that night and asked if she didn’t want to bring the boys tomorrow she was missing them and wanna talk to Sage too they agreed she can come around lunch time. Sage hopes Lana won’t be there she doesn’t have the strength to deal with her bitterness or hatred over the fact that she married Bruno.
Logan woke up not feeling so well the next morning, Sage took him to the doctor and was told he has an ear infection it was nothing serious, Liam was also quiet probably because he can feel Logan’s distress. She called Bruno but his phone was off, she’s gonna have to inform Carmen she cannot bring the boys today. At midday when the boys were asleep Sage decided to go over to Maya and Hugo’s house to tell Carmen it’s only a fifteen minute drive. No one was there she was told by the housekeeper, Sage found it strange that no one is here because Carmen had invited her over.”Do you know where the senora went.”Katherine shook her head.
“She’ll be back soon, you can wait for her senora Romero I’m sure she won’t be too long. Can I get you anything while you wait.”
“A cup of tea. Jasmine if you have.”Sage told her, after Katherine left she took a seat and called Bruno again his phone is still off.”Thank you Katherine. Where is Maya?”She asked.
“She went to visit her parents in Madrid she’ll only come back tomorrow.”
“And her husband?”
“He left too senora. Can I get you anything else.”She shook her head and sipped on her tea. After a few minutes she began to feel light headed and weak, dizziness got hold of her, her vision blurred. She held a hand to her head it felt heavy and she was feeling sleeping, gently she set the cup down on the table to stand up it was a big mistake because she collapsed to the ground unconscious.
Bruno has just landed at the airport he cannot wait to get home to his wife the conference meeting in Belgium had ended earlier than he’d anticipated. He can’t wait to hold her in his arms again and make love to her, he switched on his phone and saw two missed calls from her, he won’t call he’ll surprise her when he gets home, he can’t wait to see her and the boys. He drove fast as he can every second spend without her feels like a lifetime. When he got home Margarita told him she wasn’t home, she has left over two hours ago and hasn’t returned.”Did she say where she was going?”He asked.
“No senor. I find it strange that she hasn’t returned especially since Logan isn’t well.”
