It was a soul revival for him as well.
In April 2047 when the lady grew up in the delicate care of the Johnsons, Zayn Johnson was trying his best to keep up with his head filling with another person’s thoughts.
Indeed, it was himself.
He was in his own room in the huge Johnson estate when he shakes his head. It was real. He was back in his Twenty-four year old body.
He takes a deep breath in, he couldn’t believe he was back with all the memories intact.
‘Does this also mean my Cassandra is here?’
‘Cassie… I can’t wait to meet you again.’
The man says to himself as he smiles.
He was at the Johnson estate with his old grandpa and grandma. His memories suggest that his grandma was a bad person as he lived the life of the original Zayn Johnson back in 2023.
However, he was clever enough to not question anyone about anything.
Framton was assisted with artifical legs when he was 57 years old. He has been walking on his own two legs since then.
Nick and Gracie were at the table when they see their son smiling to himself in thought.
Zayn was reliving all his memories idiopathically. There were so many emotions attached to each second of his memory.
He couldn’t believe he’s actually done it.
He saved his family from death.
All of them.
“What’s he smiling for?” The old lady asks her husband as Nick jumps his shoulders.
Zayn now had his own cousins, all born to the Johnsons and their wives.
Louis and Jessica had Riley who was a teenager and his younger sister Carla.
Alex was unmarried, however he followed the same path as his father in adopting a baby boy ten years ago. His name was Christopher. He was a brilliant boy, exuding Louis’s vibes while having the anger and talent like his adoptive father.
Dan and Georgina break the record with four kids. Their eldest was an year older to Zayn and the next one almost the same age as Zayn. George and Nicholas were their names. Their third child was a baby girl who was born as fair as snow. She was named Aurora. And their youngest was eight years old, he was named Ronan- he was as grand as his name.
Nick and Gracie had only Zayn. Gracie figured that her body wouldn’t take the pressure of another baby anymore.
Georgina was regarded as the divine mother in the family. Her age didn’t stop her from having four kids with Dan, and she was 52 years old already.
Framton was at a whooping 72 count on his birthday candles. His ex-wife living with him was 70, and still so beautiful to his eyes.
Nick and Gracie continue watching their child stare into the abyss. His arms were locked behind his head as he smiled at the chandelier on top of his head.
“I’m telling you, he’s in love.”
“I want to agree to the same, but who is he in love with? I gotta check her background.” Gracie whips her head towards her husband. Her eyebrow was jumped up as she gazes at him from head to toe.
“Check her background. Really? You’re talking exactly like your elder brother.”
“Haha! I can’t help it. I grew up with him and he is our inspiration in many-”
“Yeah, yeah I got you. You’ve said this about a thousand times already.”
“And I’ll repeat it for a thousand times more.” Sighing with feels, the man smiles as he was approached by his nephew.
“Umcle Nick, lunch is ready. Come on!” Riley, the energetic boy pulls his uncle to his feet as they join their son who was already at the big table.
His cousins sit by his side- somehow he was very famous with his cool and calm demeanor.
He wonders what triggered the memories to resurface, or what made his soul enter his body again. Who was taking his place until now?
What about this soul?
Turns out, there was always a void soul that takes the place of another body’s soul until they come back to possess it. Until today, Zayn and Cassandra have been roaming around in the astral world cluelessly.
One day on earth felt like a couple of years in that realm.
Although, they don’t have the memories from the astral world. Or their journeys to walk millions and millions of kilometers for 25 years long.
Cassandra was in a baby’s body. She was trying her best to act as a baby.
Eventually, she got good at it.
But… Baby Cassandra learns that her brother, also named Louis was lost and there was no body or even the slightest of evidence found until today. It’s been three months already.
Ravine was in New York, and so was the Johnson Family.
Cassandra wondered about a lot of things.
She learns that it was the year of 2047, in her original age where she was seven. She was six now somehow. She anticipated a delay and wanted to know a lot about so many things.
Ravine patiently answered her truckload of questions, never getting angry or annoyed at her baby girl.
Three days have passed and it was July 27th, Ravine makes a call to the Canadian police.
[I am inspired by an anime character for the next few chapters haha]
“We’re sorry, Mrs. Ravine. We found no clue about your son even today. We can track them with our government intelligence if you’d like.” Ravine refuses to hear the same words everyday.
She knew exactly how the government intelligence works.
“No, thank you. I don’t want the government to be involved. Please… find my son.” Ravine cries in the phone as the call attendant hangs up. He wouldn’t console the woman everyday as well, he could do other things than that.
Cassandra leans against the door and watches her mother cry tears of frustration and yearning for her lost child.
Cassandra then realises…
‘Maybe that was how Louis died in this Era…’
