Chapter 110
Natalie
Watching Lena climax was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. She was a goddess, and I wanted nothing more than to worship at her feet.
I pulled back from her, holding her against me. She was pliant in my arms, still trembling from the force of her orgasm.
“Nate,” she whispered against my neck.
“Yes?”
“I… I don’t think I can do this.” She pulled away from me and sat up, her face pale in the moonlight that shone through the window.
I frowned in concern. “What do you mean?”
She shook her head. “We can’t be together like this. It’s too dangerous.”
I sat up and reached for her. “Don’t say that, Lena.”
She pulled away from me. “You’re going to hurt me, Natalie. I can’t let you do it.”
I had hurt her in the past, but that didn’t mean I wanted to now. “Lena,” I protested.
She stood up from the bed and walked over to the window. She stared out at the view of the moon hanging low in the night sky. “I can’t keep waiting for you. It’s too hard.”
I stood up and moved over to her. “Lena, please don’t say that.”
She turned to look at me, her eyes swimming with tears. “You have the power to destroy me. Please don’t do it.”
It broke my heart to hear her say that. I realized then that she’d been in love with me for years, and it had broken her heart when I left. I didn’t blame her for being angry with me.
“I’m sorry, Lena,” I told her, reaching for her hand.
She shook her head and pulled away from me again. “Don’t touch me.”
I stepped back and nodded. I deserved that after what I’d done to her.

*Lena*
I didn’t want to talk anymore, so I walked past Natalie and out of Sophie’s bedroom. I went downstairs and out onto the deck again, hoping the fresh air would clear my head.
It was late by now, and the party was beginning to wind down. The guests were saying their goodbyes and making plans to meet up later in the week.
I found Sophie hugging one of her friends goodbye, then waved at her when she turned around to face me again.
“You leaving already?” she asked, her lips curving into a frown.
“Yes, I’m sorry. But I have to get up early in the morning.”
She nodded. “That’s okay. I’ll see you soon?”
“Absolutely.” I reached out to hug her goodbye, then stepped back to wave at her one more time. “See you later.”
“Bye,” she called back, waving at me again.
I turned and headed for my car in the driveway. It wasn’t until I was driving away from her house that I realized I wasn’t ready to go home yet.
I didn’t know how to deal with the aftermath of what had happened with Natalie. All I knew was that I needed to escape.
I drove through the city until I hit the highway leading out of town, then floored it. The rush of the wind in my hair was exhilarating, and it helped me forget what was on my mind for the moment.
After a while, I pulled off the exit leading out to the coast. The ocean was my favorite place to escape to when I needed time to think.
I parked my car and climbed out, walking to the edge of the cliff. The waves crashed against the rocks below me, their spray blowing into the air in a fine mist.
The ocean was beautiful under the moonlight. I closed my eyes and let the cool wind blow against my skin as I listened to the water rushing against the shore. The sound was soothing, and soon, my nerves began to calm down.
After a while, a car pulled into the parking lot, then turned off the engine. I glanced back at it but didn’t recognize who it was.
I turned away from it and went back to staring at the ocean. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks was so soothing that my eyelids grew heavy. I had almost fallen asleep when I heard footsteps crunching on the gravel behind me.
I opened my eyes just as Natalie appeared beside me.
She glanced out at the ocean and then back at me. “What are you doing out here?”
I shrugged and looked away from her. “Just enjoying the view.”
Nate sat down next to me on the grass. We were silent for a while before she spoke again.
“I wanted to apologize for what I did earlier.”
“It’s fine,” I replied, staring out at the waves.
“No, it’s not.” She took a deep breath. “I realized something tonight.”
“What is it?” I asked, glancing at her.
“I realized I’m in love with you.”
THE END
Next up is “My BestFriend’s Sister”
Sneak Peek
*Ethan*
My best friend has a sister. And I want to fuck her.
That’s not only a problem, it’s also not my style. I’ve known Lily Bennett since the day she was born. She’s the little sister of my best friend, Derrick, which makes her strictly off-limits.
But she’s not a little girl anymore.
She’s all grown up now and every inch of her is temptation. When I found out she was coming back to New York after a five-year absence, I was anticipating a visit from the girl I remember. The one that wanted to be my sidekick whenever I came over to the house. The girl who used to trail me around like a puppy and make me laugh.
