Chapter 633: A Call from Mrs. Rocco

If these words had come from Kayden’s mouth, they would have been dismissed as nonsense. But when spoken by their respected master, they carried weight. This wasn’t nonsense-this was the truth.
Silas Greenbriar couldn’t possibly be an actor sent by Kayden to put on a show, nor would he use such matters to deceive John Baker. His serious demeanor made it clear he wasn’t joking. John Baker was indeed gravely ill.
Kayden had been right all along-John Baker truly was sick.
At that moment, John Baker’s despair lifted slightly. If what Kayden said was true, then he wasn’t lying. Kayden truly had extraordinary abilities.
Though he was ill, John Baker couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and joy for Kayden.
Silas Greenbriar snorted and said, “It’s truly pitiful how ignorant you all are. Such a priceless medicine, and you threw it in the trash.”
Hearing this, May’s face instantly burned with shame. If that medicine was worth a billion dollars, then she had just thrown a billion dollars into the trash. The thought of it made her want to slap herself.
“Where is he? Where did he go?” Silas Greenbriar asked, his voice filled with urgency.
John Baker hesitated before replying, “I don’t know, Master. Why do you want to find him?”
“Why? Of course, to take him as my master! If he’s the one who made this medicine, I must learn from him! And by the way, I’ll take this medicine for research first. Once I’m done, I’ll return it to you since you clearly don’t intend to use it.”
With that, Silas Greenbriar shuffled out the door.
May’s eyes widened as she turned to John and asked, “Do you think Master has been bribed by Kayden too?”
John Baker shot her a glare and snorted. “Do you think Master is the kind of person who can be bribed? And even if he could, do you have any idea how much it would cost to bribe him?”
“Then… does that mean the medicine is really that extraordinary? How could someone like Kayden create such a powerful medicine?” May asked, still bewildered.
John Baker scoffed, “He’s from the Scott family!”
“I still don’t think he made it. Think about it-even Master couldn’t create something like that. How could someone so young possibly have the ability? There must be someone more skilled behind him, and he’s just using that person’s talent to show off in front of us,” May said, still unconvinced.
John Baker snorted again. “If he can associate with someone stronger than Master, doesn’t that alone prove how extraordinary he is?”
May nodded thoughtfully. “That’s true. Then you should go find Master and get the medicine back! It’s worth a billion dollars!”
John Baker gave her a hard glare and said nothing more.

After returning to the hotel, Kayden noticed that Wood Faulkner was gone. She hadn’t left any clues about where she’d gone, and when he called her, she didn’t answer. Judging by the state of the room, it seemed like she’d left on her own, perhaps to explore.
Kayden wasn’t too worried about her. After all, she had regained her memories. Catching her wouldn’t be an easy task for anyone.
As he settled onto the sofa to rest, his phone rang. It was a call from Mrs. Rocco.
“Mr. Scott, did you receive the invitation?”
Kayden replied calmly, “I did. Thank you, Mrs. Rocco.”
There was a brief silence on the other end of the line before Mrs. Rocco spoke again, her tone tinged with displeasure. “Didn’t I tell you not to call me Mrs. Rocco? Isn’t Savannah much nicer? Why insist on calling me Mrs. Rocco?”
Kayden hesitated. “Savannah. Sorry, it’s a hard habit to break.”
“Hmph!” Mrs. Rocco huffed, clearly unhappy. “What about the thing I asked you to consider? Have you made up your mind?”
Kayden knew exactly what she was referring to-her proposal to keep him as her companion.
“I just want someone to chat with, drink tea, watch movies, and relive the feeling of love. You know, there are so many people out there who fantasize about living this kind of life with me. Mr. Scott, can’t you just agree?” Her voice was soft and alluring, carrying a mature charm.
Kayden remained silent for a few seconds before asking, “Savannah, why me?”
“Your aura,” she replied. “There’s something about the way you carry yourself that draws me to you. I like your aura. Simply put, no one else is good enough. Only you can meet my needs.”
“Mr. Scott, I know you don’t need money, but I might have something else you want,” she added, her tone teasing.
“If you agree, we’ll meet tomorrow night. I’ll book a room and wait for you. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.”
With that, she hung up, her voice lingering with an indescribable allure.
To Mrs. Rocco, Kayden was the most intriguing man she had ever met. Such a young man, yet he could resist her charms. Most young men adored her mature elegance, so why hadn’t he shown any interest?
Standing in front of the mirror, Mrs. Rocco studied her reflection. Her features, her figure-not enough to topple nations, perhaps, but certainly the image of a stunning beauty.
In the Western Frontier, countless admirers had professed their love for her. Yet none had caught her eye.
Kayden was different. What made him different, she couldn’t quite say. But his uniqueness drew her in.
Mrs. Rocco slowly removed her dress, turning to examine herself in the mirror. If he came tomorrow, would it finally end her ten years of solitude and longing?
With that thought, she walked into the bathroom, anticipation building. Tomorrow might just mark a new beginning, a new experience.

Meanwhile, Kayden sat on the sofa, deep in thought. What could Mrs. Rocco possibly have that he needed? Did she truly know what he was searching for?
She knew Cyrus Nightbane, which meant she also knew Asher Voss.
If he agreed to meet her, perhaps she could reveal something about Asher Voss.
Just as he was making up his mind, there was a knock at the door.
“Who is it?” Kayden called out.
“Mr. Scott, someone is here to see you. They’re waiting at the hotel entrance,” came the reply from a hotel staff member.
“Who?”
“It’s Mr. Grant Rocco,” the staff member answered.
Grant Rocco? Was he here to ask for mentorship again?
Kayden had no time to waste on him. “Tell him I’m not available.”
The staff member was stunned, nearly dropping his composure. Young Master Rocco had come to see him, and he refused to meet? Who was this man, to have such audacity?
“Master!” Before the staff member could relay the message, a voice rang out-it was Grant Rocco’s.
