Rose Sharp was in the middle of cursing when she suddenly felt an electric shock surge from her waist to her brain, causing her whole body to tremble.
Her eyes widened, and her face turned red.
Flynn was also taken aback, not expecting his move to be so precise.
Rose Sharp propped herself up on the sofa, towering over Flynn as their eyes met.
Time seemed to stand still.
The hot breath expelled by Flynn hit Rose Sharp’s chest, making her heart race with a pounding sensation.
Amidst the awkwardness, there was a strange feeling that couldn’t be described but caused an itch in their hearts.
“With the atmosphere like this, how about a kiss?” Flynn’s gaze shifted from Rose Sharp’s face and slowly landed on her chest.
This position provided an excellent view.
Through the neckline, one could see half of what was inside.
Her ample bosom and smooth and fair skin… it was quite a spectacle.
“Get lost!”
“Kiss my foot! Do you want me to tell Scarlet Wong about today’s events?!”
Rose Sharp suddenly sat up and twisted Flynn’s ear with her hand.
“If kissing is off the table, then let me at least touch your leg! I don’t mind,” Flynn continued teasingly.
Rose Sharp was completely at a loss with Flynn. She glared at him and said, “Do you know what your biggest flaw is? Talking too much! It’s enough to drive someone crazy!”
Flynn didn’t understand what she meant and shrugged, smiling insincerely. “Even though I talk much, every word I say is sincere.”
“Unfortunately, Ms. Sharp turns a blind eye,” he added.
“Well, life is fair. Although Ms. Sharp has extraordinary beauty, you have lost me. What a shame,” Flynn said.
Rose Sharp chuckled and covered her mouth. “You have quite a way with words. Say more!”
Flynn took a sip of his whiskey, smacked his lips, and looked at Rose Sharp. “Actually, I have a big question.”
“Why did you hand over Lilia Hussain to me?”
Lilia Hussain was Braiden Swanson’s accomplice. She had been causing trouble for Rose Sharp for the past ten years, making her life difficult.
She was also the main cause of the Sharp’s Group’s bankruptcy. Rose Sharp had every right to seek vengeance, to make Lilia Hussain’s life a living hell. She could plunge Lillia into hundreds of billions in debt, leaving her so utterly destitute that she wouldn’t even be able to beg on the streets.
But Rose Sharp handed Lilia Hussain over to him, which puzzled Flynn.
“It’s because of you,” Rose Sharp replied.
“You chose her! I will help you make Lilia Hussain beg for mercy!” Rose Sharp glanced at Flynn with resentment in her eyes.
Flynn suddenly realized and awkwardly smiled. “So that’s how it is. I would have forgotten if you hadn’t mentioned it!”
“How could you forget!” Rose Sharp snorted and knocked an oyster open next to Flynn. She said disdainfully, “Even if you forget to eat, you won’t forget this. What kind of gentleman are you pretending to be?”
“Last time you asked for a favor alone, it was probably for Lilia Hussain,” she continued.
“Whatever you do, just make sure the Hussain family never has a chance to thrive again.”
Flynn couldn’t help but touch his nose and coughed slightly, feeling a bit embarrassed.
He didn’t expect Rose Sharp to understand him so well and even compromise so much for him. Perhaps after experiencing so much, she had become indifferent to many things.
After all, what truly made people despair was not killing them but stepping on them while achieving their own goals.
The two quickly finished their drinks. Rose Sharp was slightly tipsy while Flynn remained unaffected.
“Let’s talk about the future. Are you planning to go to Slatin?” Rose Sharp brought another box of beer and opened one for Flynn.
Flynn nodded. “It’s time to settle scores.”
“I will go to Slatin three days later.”
“Good, let’s go together!” Rose Sharp raised her glass.
“That works,” Flynn agreed with a nod and clinked glasses with her. “Afterwards, I’ll let you manage the Clark family’s assets.”
“What? Manage the Clark family’s assets? What are you planning? To destroy the Clark family?” Rose Sharp almost choked on her drink in surprise.
Flynn was a Greater Sovereign. If Flynn slapped Tessa Watson, the Clark family wouldn’t dare say anything. But if he were planning to destroy the Clark family, it would be a different situation. They would definitely resist with all their might since the Clark family had powerful connections.
Especially Mike Clark, the head of the Hourglass Army with thirty thousand soldiers at his command.
It could be said that the Clark family ruled Slatin.
Vicente Clark, Paxton Clark and Tessa Watson’s son, was also formidable! He was a Greater Sovereign!
Ranked third in the Hidden Dragon Ranking alongside the two super geniuses in Eahta.
He was Slatin’s most famous martial arts prodigy.
For over twenty years, all of The Clark family’s resources had been poured into him, creating an unparalleled genius.
The pride of the Clark family!
The pride of Slatin!
His master was a prominent figure in the military!
He was barely 26 years old!
Wait… something wasn’t right!
Flynn was 28 years old. He left Slatin at the age of five. If that were the case, Paxton Clark must have gotten involved with Tessa Watson when Flynn was less than a year old.
Or even earlier!
Otherwise, there wouldn’t only be a two-year age difference between Flynn and Vicente Clark.
Flynn and Adrianna Noble had suffered greatly.
Vicente Clark was the apple of everyone’s eye, the center of adoration and privilege. The Clark family had exhausted all their connections and resources to nurture him. They would go to any lengths for him-if he asked for the stars, they would find a way to bring them down to him.
In stark contrast, Flynn had been discarded at the tender age of five, forced to live a life of constant hiding with his mother. Their existence resembled that of a hunted rat, scurrying from place to place in a desperate attempt to evade the world around them. Basic necessities like three meals a day became a luxury they struggled to secure.
“Someone has to teach the Clark family a lesson, right?” Flynn sneered as if talking about a group of animals without any pity in his eyes.
Rose Sharp’s expression became serious, but she nodded resolutely. “Alright! I support you. What do we do next?”
Flynn smiled mysteriously. “Since we’re giving Tessa Watson a grand gift, we need to tackle her from the military, politics, and business worlds!”
Rose Sharp paused while pouring beer and couldn’t help but ask in surprise, “Are your connections that extensive?”
“Tessa Watson’s birthday is less than half a month away.”
“With the Clark family’s vast industry and influence… can you destroy them in half a month?”
Flynn peeled a grilled shrimp and handed it to Rose Sharp with disdain in his voice. “I don’t give a damn about the Clark family. I can wipe them out with a wave of my hand!”
“Don’t be ridiculous!” Rose Sharp helped Flynn open an oyster while saying,
“If you had that ability, why wait until now? You would have gone to Slatin three months ago.”
“I suggest taking steady steps-gather connections from the military, politics, and business circles before gradually dealing with the Clark family,” she continued.
“I believe that with your strength as a Greater Sovereign, you will be able to take down the Clark family within five years.”
Flynn smiled but remained silent.
After ten years in Demon Island Prison, he had more than enough ability to crush the Clark family., so why did he wait until now?
There were three reasons.
Firstly, Rose Sharp was in dire straits back then, so he needed to help her reclaim everything that was rightfully her step by step.
Secondly, on Tessa Watson’s birthday when both the Watson family and the Clark family would attend along with their affiliated forces offering congratulations…
Once everyone was gathered, he would take them all out in one fell swoop, eliminating any future threats.
Lastly-most importantly-when he visited Phoenix Hill and paid his respects, he learned about the epic battle from Edwin Gallagher…
He discovered that there was another powerful force hunting down his mother. He didn’t know if the Clark family had any connection with them or not…
He didn’t dare act recklessly. He didn’t want to alert them…
Now that he knew Greengate was behind it and that they had nothing to do with the Clark family.
It was perfect timing to deal with the Clark family first…
Flynn would wipe them all out!
That way he could free up all his energy to investigate his mother’s whereabouts…
While Flynn was planning for the future, his phone rang.
It was Lilia Hussain calling.
Flynn smirked coldly. It seemed this woman wanted to have a talk. He wondered if she was ready to put on the sexy lingerie and bunny ears…
