We arrived at the location in no time, Derick and Greg rode in the same car with me. My men filled up two trucks, and we all split, making it easier for us to surround the place.
We parked two miles away from the camp, not letting them notice our presence, as I watched through a telescope, I was able to see their camp and just like my brother confirmed, it was filled with Rogues walking around, and some men have guns with them.
This is typical of Henry, who constantly looks for the upper hand in any fight. Guns, I mutter to myself with a scoff.
I picked up my phone and dialed a number.
” What is your position?”
” We have arrived at the location you marked, and are awaiting your orders.” the voice speaks over the phone.
” Alright, that’s good, stay on stand-by until you get your signal to come out.”
” Okay, Alpha.”
My men and I waited patiently for the right time to attack, we were able to get a proper description of this abandoned warehouse. The field in front is an enormous one, and tents were built all over the place for them to sleep in. They looked to be habituating in peace, which was indeed odd.
Checking my watch I see the time is past seven and in no time I’ll receive the text from Henry,
” What are we waiting for, Liam, let’s go in right now.” Rage murmurs in my head. As he paces back and front, I feel his anger like it’s mine.
I ignore my wolf because distraction is what I can’t afford to get right now, this is a crucial moment, and I don’t want things to get messed up. Everything needs to go as planned.
” I just received a text from our inside man, Henry is getting ready to move her from this location,” Derick says in a panicked voice.
” What a fool Henry is, he thinks that he can fool me, but he is fooling himself instead.”
Derick stares ahead with fear evident in his eyes, I know he is frightened by the fact that Macy will finally get to know the truth about us. But now is not the time for that, we have to save her first.
” We are moving in earlier than we planned, tell the guys,” I ordered.
I sent a quick text, to my dear friend waiting on the other side of the mountains, about the change of plans.
I take glance at my brother and Beta, and they both look ready to attack.
” There comes a time in one’s life when you have to do certain things, notwithstanding or holding back. We all know why we are gathered here today, and regardless of what happens here on this ground, we must go home victorious.” I say these words to all my men through the mind link.
They all howl back at me through the link. This will be the first time in a long time, Waterfall is going on a fight like this one, some of my fighters have not even fought alongside me before, only a few of them were old enough then to go on the last fight we had with the bear shifters. Which was a long time ago.
” We all know the goal, we stick to our plan, and no matter what happens, try not to die.”
” Yes, Alpha.”
The atmosphere was charged, and I could feel my wolf itching to come out,
Just then I received a message on my phone, I take my phone out, and I’m not surprised to see it is from that lunatic Henry.
“Come to the mountains behind Alveria, and come alone.” The text read.
I smirked evilly at his childishness, what a fool, I have you right under where I want. I mumble to myself.
” Alpha she is being, carried away right now by Henry himself,” my man stationed inside mind links.
” What is their position?”
” They are about to move out through the back exit of the warehouse, and it looks like he intends to move her out through the back of the mountains.”
” Send the signals we are moving in now.”
I quickly followed the back of the mountains, moving fast, and in no time I arrived at the back exit of the building with my brother behind me, we hid behind an abandoned truck.
I notice a Rogue standing next to an arranged SUV and talking to someone on the phone, about the car being ready for departure.
I nod my head to my brother, and we immediately come out from our hiding spot, Derick moves in fast strides, and without knowing what hit him, the Rogue drops to the ground.
I take a look around and there is no one else there,
” They are almost here, I can hear sounds of movement coming from inside,” Derick says.
” Hmm, I do too, you know the drill Derick, no matter what happens protect Macy.”
My brother nods at my words. As we take our positions and wait.
A minute of waiting felt like hours, I could hear the sounds of water splashing out of the mountain’s rock, and the birds high in the sky as they flew in circles.
” They are here!” My brother says through the link.
Henry comes out through the door, with two of his men behind him. I look closely and see a small-looking person huddled up in the arms of one of them.
” Mate! Mate!” Rage whimpered in my head.
The smell of the trees, mixed with Rogues filled the air, I could not perceive my mate’s scent properly. I could only get a whiff of her sweet aroma indicating she was the one being held up in that manner in another’s arms as some doll.
I watched closely as they walked up to the car, Derick had hidden the body of the man he knocked out inside the trunk of the car,
We stayed rooted in our positions, waiting for the right time to attack, Henry must have sensed something because he stilled in his track with a raised finger indicating for his men to stop.
He brings out his phone and dials a number, immediately the phone of the man earlier rings out loud, He gazes around to find out where the phone is ringing from.
I follow his gaze, and the phone is on the ground ringing out loud, Henry walks over to the phone, bends, and picks it up. He stares around confused for a while.
” Something is not right.” I hear him say to his men.
” Well, how can it be when you decided to step on my toes,” I say in an angry voice. As I come out of my spot with my brother behind me.
To say he is shocked to see me here is an understatement, the Henry in front of me looks terrified to see me.
” You wanted me, and now you have me, you know how this works, you let the girl go, and I let you and your men live,” I say.
” I am not going to say I underestimated you, after all, your Alpha Liam, one of the most feared Alphas in the werewolf race. But right here, right now, I am the one in charge, I will decide who lives or dies.”
My wolf stirs angrily at his words,
” You heard him, Henry let the lady go, and you get to leave here alive,” Derick says this time, his voice that of his wolf’s.
” What a sight to behold, two brothers coming together to save the one woman whom they are both in love with. Wow, what a love story, maybe you could also die with them too.” Henry says while laughing like a maniac.
This man has indeed lost it. I murmur.
” I am not playing games with you, Henry this is your last chance, I do not want too many blood stains on my hands.”
” Bloodstains uh, well, the only blood that would spill today is that of you and your brother, and maybe your mate too after I am done with her!”
I growled menacingly at him, the color of my eyes changed to that of my wolf.
” You want her, then come get her!” he declares running in my direction, his eyes changed to that of his wolf, and I ran towards him too making us collide with a heavy force.
I notice the man holding my mate runs back inside the building with her still in his arms, while Derick attacks the other one.
