Author’s POV
Liam lets her ride out her orgasm on his hands as he kissed her. This has been the highest they have both gone with each other, Liam held her tight as they both tried to catch their breath. The world faded in their eyes. They stared at one another with lust showing brightly in each other’s eyes.
“No matter how much I would rather not stop, I have got to feed you, so maybe we’ll continue another day.” he says
Without allowing her to say a word, Liam brings her down the counter and settles her on a chair, he serves the food, and they both start eating. Breakfast was ongoing when the doorbell rang, just then Greg walks into the house.
“Macy continue eating, I’ll just talk to him for some minutes.”
Liam says as he stands up to go to Greg who was now standing ten feet away with no emotions on his face. Liam led Greg outside the house, he wouldn’t want to risk Macy hearing whatever Greg had to say right now.
“What are you doing here? Because I don’t remember telling you where I was headed.”
“I just followed my instincts, Liam you left before sunrise. I couldn’t get a hold of you, I went to the city, but you weren’t there, I had a little help though.”
“Help from who Greg?”
“Well, I stopped by Macy’s office and pretty Lori spilled some beans, so I only put some dots together, and My intuition doesn’t lie. Great night you must have had their Alpha, I hope I didn’t interrupt anything steamy.”
Greg says with a smirk on his face. “Shut the fuck up, Greg, you know nothing. And don’t you dare say those kinds of words in front of Macy, now what’s the situation back at Waterfall?”
“Okay Alpha I apologize for teasing you.” Greg says laughing with his hands up.
“Your father is doing what he can, as usual, The pack needs their Alpha Liam I hope there is progress in this little trip of yours, you need to bring her home.”
“You don’t have to remind me, Greg, I fucking know alright, I’ll bring her home in no time. The only problem is Derick, It is not my intention to hurt my brother Greg. I only hope he understands.”
“Liam it will hurt him, but he has no choice but to understand, she’s your mate and there is nothing anyone can do about it.”
Liam shrugs at his beta’s words, he turns around as he stares at her from outside she looked happy eating her food, the news about us will break her, how is she going to take it I hope she doesn’t hate me, Liam thought.
Liam’s POV
After Breakfast I led Greg to the mini-office space the beach house has, we discussed pack business and did some online work for a few hours. Macy decided to take a swim, then read a book, and now she’s taking a nap. I’m glad she is having a good time. That’s all that matters, her happiness. Greg left thirty minutes earlier, I sat in my office finishing up some work when I heard a knock on the door.
“Come in Macy, it’s open.”
her scent gave her off, she enters the office with a smile on her face
“Hi um how did you know it was me?”
she asks in her cute voice “Because my workers know not to disturb me when I’m working.”
“Oh I’m sorry if I disrupted your work, I can leave.”
“No, you didn’t disrupt me, Macy you can do whatever you want to me, I’ll just accept it with good fate. You’re the last person who’ll ever disturb me, Macy.”
I notice her cheeks turn pink at my words, and watching my mate blush at my words is a sight to behold.
“Come here.”
I tell her, she does as she is told, and in a second she’s in front of me. Without warning, I drag her onto my lap, she gaps at my sudden action looking surprised. I position her comfortably, so she doesn’t fall,
“There that’s where you belong.” I say to her while staring deep into her eyes.
“I like it here too, Liam.” Macy lets out
“Mmm of course you do.”
We stayed like that for a few minutes enjoying each other’s company and the sweet sparks the bond created as our skin contact until her next words,
“What about Derick? Liam I would rather not hurt him, he’s been nothing but good to me.”
“Let’s not talk about him right now okay.”
“Am I a bad person Liam? Because I see myself as one, I…I’m thinking of you when I should think of Derick your Brother.”
My heart aches at her words, she shouldn’t have to feel this way if only she knew the truth.
“Macy don’t you dare think of such things, you are not a bad person, and you will never be, so please get that thought out of your head.”
Right now she is overeaten with guilt her emotions are all over the place, and it’s affecting not just my wolf but me too.
Macy decided to make lunch that afternoon and I let her. After we ate, I decided it was time to depart, we can’t hide from the world and our problems. It is time to go back to the real world and face our destiny.
I decided to drive back to the city, I could have easily requested a chopper to bring us back, which would take only 20 minutes, but I understand she needs time, and I do too, With driving I get to spend more time with her.
“I hope you had a great time.”
I say to her finding the to start a conversation, “Yes I did, Thank you so much, Liam, for everything.”
“No Macy I’m the way to say thank you for everything, you have no idea the beast you calmed with your presence.”
She smiles at my words and my heart melts more for this petite little human who the moon goddess has chosen as my Luna. We chatted all through the drive unlike when we arrived, this time she was awake, and it was fun watching her sing along to the radio, did I mention how breathtaking my mate’s voice is? She sings like an angel. It’s no doubt she owns her studio where she teaches music.
We finally arrived at her apartment unit, no matter how slow I drove just to spend more time with her. We sat in silence for some minutes,
“Macy your home, I know you’re scared, but I want you to know that you have done nothing wrong alright we did nothing, so there is no need to feel guilty, and if you’re worried about Derick, then don’t, I’ll handle him”
“What do you intend to do?”
She asks looking scared, I smile at her before mouthing
“Go on I’ll call you later.”
She seems to hesitate I don’t let her say another word as I come out of the car, walk over to the passenger door, and open it for her, I take her hand as I help her out
“Liam I…”,
“Shush don’t say a word now, go on I’ll see you later.”
I kiss her head bidding her goodbye. I watch her walk away until she disappears into the building before getting into my car and drive off.
At the far end of the parking lot, Derick sat in his car as he just witnessed his brother dropping his girlfriend, who he had been looking for since yesterday.
