His dream for years had been to defeat a prodigy and become one himself, but he had yet to achieve it. The young man before him had just done so.
After drinking the spirit wine, Leo closed his eyes and began to refine it.
“Damn it, if I hadn’t underestimated him, this kid would have lost!” Northwood’s face grew darker and more unpleasant as many eyes turned toward him, and he gritted his teeth in frustration.
“Shut up. A loss is a loss,” Southwood said coldly, giving his brother a sharp look.
“Interesting, our Martial Dynasty has produced a dark horse that defeated a prodigy from the Crescent Dynasty,” Noah Shadow’s single eye gleamed with a cold light, his voice carrying a hint of amusement.
“Ha, very impressive,” Cyrus, with his short red hair, laughed out loud.
Windsor snorted lightly, her graceful figure flashing as she landed on the dueling platform. Her sharp, cold gaze fell on Seraphina.
“Young lady, you took the Blue Fairy Dress and Blue Fairy Hairpin, didn’t you? Come up and fight!” Windsor said coldly, looking at Seraphina.
Seraphina glanced at Windsor and then appeared on the dueling platform in a flash.
From his seat, Leo’s eyes opened involuntarily when he heard Windsor challenge Seraphina, a trace of worry flashing in them.
As Seraphina stepped onto the platform, everyone’s eyes focused on the two women.
Windsor wore a green dress with an ancient green zither strapped to her back, her short hair neat and tidy.
Seraphina’s face was veiled with light gauze, her brows and eyes like a painting, exuding an ethereal beauty.
Their stunning appearances were a feast for the eyes.
“I’ll give you a chance to surrender. Otherwise, I won’t show mercy,” Windsor said coldly, her sharp gaze fixed on Seraphina.
“No need for words,” Seraphina replied in a cool voice. With a wave of her right hand, the Skywater Blade appeared in her grasp.
Windsor snorted again, reaching behind her to grab the green zither and place it horizontally in front of her.
“Hope you don’t regret it,” Windsor said as her ten slender fingers fell on the strings. With their movement, a killing melody filled the air.
In an instant, dozens of sharp green wind blades pierced through the void, attacking Seraphina.
Blue ripples of water spread across Seraphina’s white dress as she moved gracefully, dodging the incoming wind blades while closing the distance to Windsor.
Leo knew that sound cultivators were adept at long-range attacks but were vulnerable up close. He assumed Seraphina knew this too.
As Seraphina approached, Windsor’s eyes grew colder. Her slender fingers plucked the strings faster, and the sharp melody continued to resonate.
More wind blades appeared, attacking Seraphina from all directions, leaving her no room to dodge.
Seraphina’s beautiful eyes narrowed slightly as blue water light rippled from her Skywater Blade.
“Heaven’s Shadow Radiant Blade!” With a delicate shout from Seraphina, transparent blue water light swords appeared within the ripples.
The blue water light swords clashed with the green wind blades, both dissipating into points of light.
Seraphina then lightly tapped the ground with her toes, and the Skywater Blade in her hand shone brightly. A translucent blue water light sword beam, dozens of meters long, slashed toward Windsor.
Windsor leaped backward, evading the blade’s arc, and soared upward.
From above, Windsor’s gaze became as sharp as a blade. As she plucked the zither strings with her fingers, spiritual energy poured into the instrument. The green zither glowed brightly.
Dozens of green tornadoes formed in the sky.
Each tornado was composed of hundreds of sharp wind blades, spinning and howling as if they could cut through space itself.
In the next moment, the green tornadoes surrounded Seraphina.
Seraphina dodged the first green tornado with all her might.
However, as soon as she evaded the first one, the second tornado followed closely behind.
The sound of the zither echoed through the heavens as dozens of green tornadoes seemed to have eyes of their own, quickly compressing Seraphina’s space to dodge.
Seeing this situation, Leo frowned slightly, a trace of worry flashing in his eyes.
Despite being in a predicament, there was no significant fluctuation in Seraphina’s clear eyes.
After another dodge, Seraphina quickly formed an ancient seal with her left hand.
Suddenly, transparent blue water light gathered behind Seraphina and transformed into a pair of blue wings.
The blue wings bore ancient and mysterious patterns, appearing elegant and noble.
With a gentle flap of the wings, Seraphina’s speed increased several times over as she transformed into a streak of blue water light.
The blue water light moved like a fish in the sea within the encircling green tornadoes.
In just a few breaths’ time, the blue water light broke free from the encirclement of green tornadoes.
This sight caused Windsor’s expression to change involuntarily.
Seraphina’s sudden burst of speed was beyond her expectations. Even if she exerted all her strength, she might not achieve such speed.
“How did she suddenly become so fast?” Many cultivators watching had the same question as Windsor in their hearts.
After closing the distance to Windsor in mid-air, Seraphina’s eyes flashed coldly. Her left hand formed a spell while the blue light from her Skywater Blade intensified.
Then Seraphina swung her sword. The blue water light sword beam condensed sharply and struck toward Windsor.
“Windsor!” Seeing this scene, Rose and Winter by the lake turned pale.
Windsor’s pupils contracted as she slapped her green zither in front of her with her right hand.
The green zither glowed brightly and formed a green light barrier to block the incoming blue water light sword beam.
However, the blue water light sword beam was extremely sharp and domineering. It pierced through the green light barrier and struck the green zither.
A crack appeared on the green zither before it split into two pieces.
Windsor’s heart trembled as she quickly retreated.
The blue water light sword beam pressed forward relentlessly and stopped three inches from Windsor’s fair neck.
Feeling the coldness and sting on her neck, Windsor’s body stiffened in mid-air.
The previously howling green tornadoes lost Windsor’s control and quickly dissipated.
The outcome was decided. Everything calmed down as a gentle breeze blew past, causing their clothes to flutter gracefully.
“This white-clad lady wins,” Ancient Tyrant Pill Sovereign’s soul fragment announced with a slight nod toward Seraphina.
