DINNER WITH THE KINGS

Book:LOVING THE PLAYBOY Published:2025-3-9

I was a nervous wreck. Today was Sunday, which meant family dinner at Hayden’s house with his dad. A man who thinks I’m not worthy or up to his son’s standard
I was already at the front door of their mansion, trying to calm my anxiety. It was the night with dinner with his mom all over again, but this time I knew what to expect because, from what Hayden had told me, his dad doesn’t like me that much.
I repeatedly took a deep breath to help prepare me mentally and physically for what was to come. I brought out my phone, turning on the camera to see if anything was out of place.
Thankfully, everything was still in place. I looked just like I did when I left my house. I had on a simple, casual light blue dress and black sandals. My make-up was simple, and my hair was tied up into a messy bun with two strands on each side of my face.
I put my phone back into my black small mini back, taking in a deep breath one last time before ringing the bell. The door opened, with the head maid standing on the other side of the door. She bowed slightly, and I waved at her out of nerves, not trusting my voice right now. She gave way for me to walk, and I whispered a thank-you to her, stepping into the house.
I had not walked fully inside the house when I spotted Hayden walking towards me. He pulled me in for a hug, pecking the side of my head before breaking apart.
“For a second there, I thought you weren’t going to press the bell.” A mischievous grin crossed his face.
“You were watching me.” I asked, bewildered. ” How.”
“You do know there are cameras at the front door, right?” My eyes widen, starring at him. If he had seen me, that means anyone could have. Which meant his dad could have seen. My anxiety increased, and my palm turned sweaty.
Hayden burst out laughing, and I looked at him, wondering if he had hit his head because this wasn’t a laughing matter. “I totally didn’t expect you to believe me that easily.” He finally said this after getting a hold of himself. “I was just kidding, babe.”
A sigh of relief flows right from my lips. I gave Hayden a light blow, glaring at him as a smile appeared on his face. “Not funny, Hayden.” I whined. “You know I’m already edgy about this dish.”
He pulled me closer to him, pecking my lips. “There’s nothing to worry about; you have me, and just to ease your mind, my dad would be on his best behaviour.” I looked at him sceptically. “Trust me. As cruel and intimidating as he can be, he won’t do or say anything to mean anything to you because he knows my mom will be mad at him. He adores her, so don’t worry.”
“I trust you, but just so you know, if I end up blurting out crazy things, Don’t hold it against me; so many crazy words come out of my mouth when I’m nervous.” I said this as we stepped into the living room.
Hayden just laughed, stretching his hand for me to take. I wasted no time in taking his hand in my hold; he led us through the living room to the lounge, where his mother was. She had her back resting on a chair, with a book in her hand and a glass of wine in the other.
She noticed our presence, making her look in our direction. A smile graced her face when she saw me. When we finally got to where she was, she stood up, pulling me into a huge hug. “Hi Bree. It’s so nice to see you again. I’m glad you took up my husband’s offer for dinner.” Victoria said, breaking the hug.
I smiled politely at her. “It’s nice to see you again.” I say to her, meaning every word. Victoria was a nice, happy, warm lady, and I was sincerely happy to see her.
“Dominic is in his study, trying to finish up some work. Why don’t the both of you hang around for a few minutes? I will let you know when dinner is ready.” She mutters, smiling sweetly at Hayden and I.
I gave a slight nod with a smile on my face. Hayden pulled me out of the lounge, taking me upstairs to his room. We both walked inside, and he closed the door, locking it.
I walked around his room, going towards his desk. A picture caught my eye, and I picked it up. A smile instantly made its way to my face. It was the picture of the two of us on our last date; we had taken a picture that night with Hayden’s phone. I had no idea he was going to print it and frame it; it made my heart skip with emotions. It felt like the love and respect I had for him had increased tremendously.
A hand wrapped around my waist from behind me, and Hayden’s head rested on my shoulder, looking down at the picture in my arms. “Do you like it?” He whispered softly in my ears.
“I love it, Hayden.” I spinner around; my eye met his in a trace. I leaned in with him doing the same, closing whatever little gap was there between us. Our lips met, his capturing mine in a passionate kiss.
I moaned against his lips, clenching onto the back of his shirt. His hand slowly trails down my waist to my ass, giving it a light squeeze. Moan, breaking apart from him, knowing where this was going to lead if we didn’t stop now.
But Hayden didn’t stop there; his lips moved down to my jaw, then to my neck, sucking and nibbling for a few minutes before moving down to my chest. I put my hands on his shoulders, pushing him back completely.
“Hayden, your parents are downstairs.” I whispered a yell, and he hummed, kissing my lips again.
“I know, babe, the door is locked.” He stated it with a devilish smirk on his face. “The room is soundproof; they won’t hear anything, and beside, we aren’t having sex.” He pulled me up onto the desk, raising my gown as he got down on his knees. “I want to taste you.”
I parted my legs, placing soft kisses on my inner thigh. He took out my pants, lifting my legs up to his shoulders, and his lips found themselves in my clitoral area. A shiver ran through my body, and my toes curled up as he sucked and nibbled on my bud. I moan in pleasure when he drives his tongue inside me. My hand grabbed a fist full of his hair, pulling him closer. A shuttering moan escaped my lips. I buckled my hips closer to him when he thrust in two fingers into me. His tongue was still in me, while his fingers thrust in and out of me, hitting my spot. My legs tightened around his neck while I grind my hip on him, meeting his thrust. Pleasure like wildfires filled me up. My hand covered my mouth to stop the loud moans that threatened to escape my lips. My leg quivered, shuddering against him as I cumbed.
He had a victorious smirk when his lips left my core. He got up from the floor, and his lip captured mine in a passionate kiss once again.
“Best dinner ever.” Hayden whispered against my lips before taking a step back. A blush crept on my face, and I hit his shoulders lightly, making him laugh.
I got out of bed, picked up my pants, and went into the bathroom to tidy up and clean. After I was done putting my pants back on and making sure my face wasn’t flushed, I got out of the bathroom.
“Let’s go downstairs; dinner is ready.” Hayden says, pecking my lips before taking my hand in his. We got out of the room, making our way downstairs to the dining room. Victoria and Dominic were already there. Victoria has a warm smile on her face like always, and Dominic has a permanent glare directed at me.
Dominic and I exchanged pleasantries as Hayden directed us to our seats. I looked at the dining table, which had a lot of delicious food set up. “The food looks delicious, Victoria.”
Victoria laughed, waving her hand at me. “Thanks, dear; I hope you enjoy it.”
I picked up my fork, and we all immediately started eating. The food was as delicious as I thought it would be. We kept on eating in silence until it was broken by the sound of Dominic clearing his throat.
“So Bree, how long have you and my son been going out? My son never mentioned a word about you until recently.” He stated it cockily with questioning eyes.
“We have been dating for a few months now.” I answered, forcing out a smile.
” Really.” He replied, his gaze shifting from me to Hayden, then back to me. “I’m surprised I’m just hearing this now; I guess you aren’t important.” He says, whispering the last part out loud enough for everyone to hear.
“Dominic” Victoria gave him a puzzled look, making him raise his hand in mocking surrender before going back to his dinner.
“I will let you know that Bree is very important to me; the only reason I didn’t tell you earlier was because I knew she needed more time.” Hayden growled out, glaring at his dad. “Everything I do, it’s all for her.”
His words touched me, and the fact that he stood up for me made the respect I had for him grow. He held my hand on my thigh, smiling at me.
I turned to look at Victoria and Dominic. Hayden’s mom had a smile on her face, looking at us, while his dad just had a big smile on his face.
“I was just wondering; you don’t need to get all defensive.” Dominic mumbled, chuckling in a mocking manner.
“Dominic King. Dio mi aiuti, se non la smetti di tormentare questa povera ragazza, finirai per dormire sul divano stanotte.” I had no idea what Victoria said, but whatever she told me, the grown man had his mouth locked shut and his lips cast down in a pout.
I was surprised to see Dominic this way; he didn’t look that scary and intimidating again. I was like a grown-up child, which made me want to laugh, but I had to force myself not to. I didn’t want his hatred for me to worsen than it already has.
“Bree, don’t let Dominic intimidate you; enjoy your dinner.” Victoria spoke sweetly at me, and I nodded my head slightly in response.
I took a bite of my food, glancing towards Hayden to see a smirk dancing around his lips. When he noticed my eyes on him, he turned to look at me. He raised my hand to his lips, placing a kiss on the back of my hand. I’m sure it was mainly to spite his dad.
Victoria awed, watching us while Dominic scowled, not saying anything but stabbed his fork repeatedly on his plate. His action reminded me of Hayden, and I laughed.
His head shot up, and he glared at me, making me laugh out even more. Victoria and Hayden joined me while Dominic kept on pouting, but I saw his lips lift up in a quick little
Dinner carried on like that, and I chatted with Hayden and Victoria. I must say, it was more fun than I had expected, and Dominic wasn’t that bad, even though he didn’t utter a word after what Victoria said to him.
