Alethea
The feeling bubbling in me is raw and uncontrollable, like a storm ready to destroy everything.
My anger boils over, the urge to lash out at Alpha Asher is so strong.
“What the hell, Ally?” he growls, stepping back as if trying to regain control.
I take the opportunity to push myself up from the bed, my body trembling with adrenaline.
“This,” I say, pointing between us, “whatever this is, it can never be.” My words slice through the room like a blade.
I see his jaw tighten. “I know I came to you for help, but don’t get it twisted. I don’t want anything to do with you.”
He moves his hand to his head, gripping his hair in frustration. It’s like he’s fighting to contain whatever battle is raging inside him.
I steady myself and force the words out. “There is nothing between us, Alpha Asher. You rejected me, remember?” I pause.
There is silence between us. The look in his eyes shifts something between pain and anger but I refuse to let it sway me. He made his choice, and now I’m making mine.
In an instant, Alpha Asher closes the distance between us, as he grabs my shoulders. His eyes burn as he growls, “You are mine, Ally. We’re stuck together, remember that.”
I shake my head desperately, refusing to let his words take hold of me. “No, Alpha Asher. I am not yours, and I will never be yours!” My voice trembles, but I say with an unshaken conviction.
“You made your choice. You laid your bed by rejecting me, and don’t you dare try to claim me now!” My lips quiver as my heart pounds so loudly it feels like it’s echoing in the room.
“We are mates, Ally!” he roars, his teeth clenched tightly as he slams his hand against the wall beside my face.
The sound reverberates, making me flinch, but I refuse to back down. “We’re bonded by blood! We can’t be with anyone else, and you know that!”
My eyes widened, and my mouth opened in shock. The audacity of his words brings out my rage.
“So, you know we’re mates?” I spit out, with a venomous sharp voice. “But what did you do, Alpha? You slept with me and then rejected me the very next morning. And now, you expect me to believe in this so-called bond?”
“Fuck the mate bond, Alpha Asher! Fuck the blood bond!” I’m trembling now, my mind spinning as I lose control and the words tumble out of my mouth.
I jab a finger at his chest, pointing between us as my voice cracks with emotion. “And what about Maya? When we continue this-” I motion between us, bitterness dripping from every word-“What will be my fate?”
I let out a bitter laugh, void of any humor. “You’ll keep me as your side piece, your mate, so your power can grow. And you’ll keep her too, won’t you? Maya gets to have you publicly while I’m just here, hidden, used, and discarded when it’s convenient for you. Hell no, Alpha!”
I step closer, staring directly into his eyes. “I deserve better. I won’t be toyed with or tossed aside like I don’t matter. Do you hear me, Alpha? I will not.”
“It’s because of him, isn’t it?” His question comes out of nowhere, throwing me off balance as my rant comes to an abrupt stop.
I step back, confusion etched on my face. “Who, Alpha?” I ask, genuinely baffled by his sudden outburst.
He takes a step closer, and for every step he takes forward, I move back. His jaw clenched tightly, his fists balled at his sides. His eyes flash dangerously, their colors shifting. My heart races as I realize I’ve struck a nerve, though I don’t understand how.
Before I can process what’s happening, my back hits the wall. My breath catches in my throat. “Goddamn it,” I mutter under my breath, I’m cornered.
“Is it because of Declan?” he growls, with his voice low and barely controlled, as if he’s fighting to keep the beast within him at bay.
The mention of Declan sends a jolt through me, but I hurriedly school my features, locking down my emotions. I can’t let him know.
“Declan? My bo-” I start, my words faltering mid-sentence as I catch myself.
“Your boyfriend. Say it, Ally. Say it!” he snaps, his voice rising with each word.
“He’s your boyfriend, isn’t he? Say it! I can take it. I can take knowing that my so-called mate is out there spreading her legs and getting fucked by De-”
Before he can finish that disgusting sentence, I raise my hand to slap him hard across his face, he grabs my wrist mid-air.
“You fool!” I spit, my voice trembling with fury. “So that’s what you think? That Declan is my boyfriend?” My chest heaves as my entire body shakes with emotions.
“How dare you talk about Declan, about me in that way?” My eyes burn as I glare at him.
“How dare you accuse me of spreading my legs when you’re the one with Maya?” I shout, the words pouring out of me like a dam breaking.
“You’re the one who’s been fucking her, tormenting me, and then having the nerve to call me yours! How dare you, Alpha Asher?”
He shakes my hand slightly, it’s like a silent warning. The fury in his eyes is unlike anything I’ve ever seen-blazing and intense enough to burn everything in its path to ashes.
I should be scared. Any sane person would be terrified of the Alpha’s wrath, especially after attempting to strike him.
But my body betrays me in the worst way. The heat starts to pool between my thighs and grows unbearable, and I can feel the moisture gathering as I subconsciously part my lips, anticipating something I shouldn’t want.
As if he senses my arousal, he steps closer, pressing his hard length against me. It sends a shudder through my body, a shameful gasp escaping my lips.
He leans in, his warm breath brushing against my ear. Then, he nibbles the shell lightly, and I moan, the sound echoing in the room.
“Does he make you feel like this?” he growls, his voice low and dripping with possessiveness. He grinds his hardness against my stomach. “Does he make you feel this way? With just a touch, a nibble, or the feel of his cock against you like this?”
His words are a dark temptation, stirring a mix of emotions-desire, anger, shame.
My mind screams at me to resist, but my body responds in ways I can’t control. I slowly shake my head, about the truth.
Declan isn’t even in this equation, and he never could be. He’s our son, our secret.
He knows nothing of his origins, and I shouldn’t feel this way towards Declan.
But I can’t speak. Instead, I let Alpha Asher continue his torment, my body trembling under his dominance.
But I can’t bring myself to fight him.
“Does he make you drip like this? For fuck’s sake, I can smell your arousal,” he growls, his voice dark and filled with need.
His hands grip my butt, pulling me against him, and a moan escapes my lips before I can stop it.
I shake my head slowly, my thoughts are a chaotic mess as my body betrays every ounce of resistance I try to muster. Words feel impossible to form as my heart races and my legs tremble, my lips slightly parted, craving him in ways I know I shouldn’t.
His hand moves toward my thigh, and I can feel the undeniable wetness pooling between my legs, dripping down. The heat spread like wildfire.
“Does he make you want him this much?” he murmurs, his fingers brushing against my folds. The contact sends a jolt of electricity through me, and I can’t help but grind against his hand, desperate for more.
He moves his mouth from my ear, trailing kisses and heated nips down to my chest. I arch into him, pushing my shirt up to give him access, silently begging him to take more.
He groans loudly, the sound vibrating through me as he lifts me effortlessly.
My legs wrap around his torso, with an intoxicating and overwhelming strength with my back pressed against the wall.
And then, in one swift motion, I gasped loudly as something slid inside me.
