CLIO
I’d never been told anything like that before and certainly not by a gorgeous man plucking at my nipple through my bikini top while I writhed beneath him. I grabbed his face in my hands and kissed him again, if only to distract myself into calming down, though it quickly became evident that calming down was not going to be a possibility.
Remembering my goal of being more assertive, I gave in and let my hands roam over Aidan’s body. I ran my hands over his broad shoulders and down his chest and abdominal muscles that flexed beneath my fingers. I could feel his desire pressed against my thigh, but I didn’t let my fingers go there just yet, instead letting them dance at the waistband of his trunks.
He stilled then and gently moved my hands away from his waistband and pinned them on either side of my head. “Not yet, Clio. Not before I make you come.” His voice was husky, and the words he’d uttered made me feel like I was on fire. “Tell me you want that,” he said, and I was delighted by the urgency in his voice.
“Yes,” I moaned, “please.” Who was this woman lying half-naked on the beach rolling around with some guy she just met and begging him to make her come?
This definitely fell into the category of trying new and scary things, and I silently cheered on this new version of myself. Clio Parker was not to be pitied because she was being practically ravished by a hot man on the beach, I thought to myself.
Aidan peeled one of the cups of my wet bikini away and sucked my hardened nipple into his mouth. The feel of his rough tongue against my skin nearly made my eyes roll back in my head. As he suckled my breast, his fingers danced down my stomach, making my muscles quiver in their wake.
I had to remind myself to breathe when his fingers suddenly dipped beneath my bikini bottoms. His mouth released my breast, and he watched my face carefully as his hand smoothed over my mound. My lips parted, expelling out a long breath in anticipation.
He watched me bite my lip with avid interest before he finally parted me with his fingers and found the hot and needy bud nestled between my thighs.
I let out a low moan, and the sound seemed to encourage him as he rubbed me in tight, little circles that quickly had my hips bucking up to meet his touch. “Please,” I moaned.
“Please what? Tell me, Clio,” he encouraged.
“Please, give me more,” I begged.
With a seductive smile he obliged my request and dipped his finger lower, pressing it against my hot, wet entrance. I’d never craved being touched like this before, but it felt so right that I couldn’t stop my hips from moving forward and trying to get closer.
He didn’t make me wait, slipping a long finger inside and moving slowly. I saw his expression change, wondering, and his eyes met mine seeking the answer. I don’t know what he saw there, but his lips formed into a kind, anticipatory smile in response. He held my gaze as he added another finger, stretching me.
He murmured words of encouragement as he pumped his fingers in and out of me, flicking my sensitive bundle of nerves with his thumb and making sparks appear behind my eyelids. I was quickly approaching the precipice of my pleasure, and I clutched onto his shoulders, moaning his name.
“That’s it, that’s it, Clio. Let it happen, beautiful,” he rumbled in my ear. I went over the edge hard, the buildup of my desire crashing over me just like the wave that had washed up to shore. I let out a long, loud moan, his name pouring from my lips like some sort of enchantment.
It took a while for me to come back to myself, but when I did, he was still there waiting patiently, stroking my hair and looking down into my face. “That was amazing,” I said in between heavy breaths. He grinned, showing me a megawatt smile.
“Yes, it definitely was,” he agreed, his voice rough as he traced his fingers lightly over my face. He was leaning down a hair’s breadth away from kissing me again when the shrill ring of a phone pierced the moment. In my post-orgasm haze, it took me a moment to realize it was my ringer. My eyes widened, and he understood immediately. “That you?”
“Yes, I’m sorry,” I apologized, scrambling out from beneath him and rushing a few feet to my bag. I dug out my phone as the ringing stopped. I saw with a gut punch that Lila had texted me several times with each text growing increasingly frantic.
Seeing my face, Aidan asked, “What’s wrong?”
“It’s my friend,” I explained. “She thinks I’ve been kidnapped or something, says she’s fixing to send out a search party,” I said sheepishly.
Aidan stood, adjusting himself in the process, but still nodding. “That’s sweet. It sounds like you have a good friend. You should get back to her, so she won’t worry.”
“But what about…” I started as Aidan sauntered towards me and gently took my phone from my hand.
Quickly, he typed in his number. “To be continued…” he said, placing the phone back in my hand. “But I better hear from you soon, Clio. We have unfinished business.” He started to back away, at first not breaking eye contact with me but soon turning around to head back toward the water.
“Wait!” I called before he got farther away. He stopped, and I rushed toward him, threw my arms around his neck, and laid a long kiss on his lips.
When I finally released him, he gave me a lopsided grin. “Make sure not to wait too long, Clio. A man can only take so much,” he teased as he let me go.
I rushed through the sand and back around the little cove that had been shielding us and back towards the beach house, dialing Lila to let her know to call off the hounds and that I would be back at the house shortly.
She told me she’d gone out driving around to find me, but that she would head back towards the house. “What happened to you?” she questioned.
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you. Look, I’m almost to the house, I’m going to shower off really quick, and then, we can talk,” I told her.
“That interesting, huh? Can’t wait to hear it,” she said.
“Let’s just say that goal I made about being more assertive and trying scary things-yeah, I’m crushing that.”
“Alright, alright, girl, love to hear it. Should be home in about thirty-I’m going to go pick us up some lunch,” she said.
We hung up, and I made my way up the stairs of the beach house, my mind immediately going back to what had just happened. Maybe Sydney had been right.
This summer was going to change my life for the better.
