“Stop, Seth!”
Edith was shocked to see Seth’s actions so chaotic because of his drunkenness. She begged the man to stop his crazy actions. Blood had seeped into his black T-shirt, yet he still kept laughing.
It was at this moment that Edith felt that she couldn’t bear it. A part of her soul, locked in her subconscious, burst to the surface. Now Edith has floated half a metre into the air and made the ground tremble. The wind blew very violently, forming a whirlpool of air that revolved around her body.
Her eyes flashed a bluish aura, like the last time in the parking lot yesterday. Her gaze focused on a sharp object that was piercing Seth’s chest, who was grimacing in pain.
She made the sharp object break so that it was not left behind and was not visible just by looking at it. The fragmented particles are swept away by the air around them. It doesn’t stop there. Now Edith looked around, looking for another sharp object scattered from the bottle she had smashed earlier.
When she found it, she smashed it back. She walked over to Seth’s unconscious body. Edith landed slowly on the man’s side. She touched Seth’s wound and felt it for a moment. Her hands drained energy from the wound on Seth’s chest. The healing energy transferred by Edith made the wound close again.
“Moon Goddess is never wrong. I love you, Seth. Part of me just can’t pronounce it, but we’re the same person.”
Only that sentence was said by another figure, Edith. The bluish aura on her body slowly dissipated and left Edith with the same state of unconsciousness as Seth.

“Edith, wake up! Don’t make me scared!”
The sound entered Edith’s sense of hearing and repeated continuously until she woke up. She looked for a voice that had been anxious ever since. She found Seth sitting beside her, patting her cheek slowly.
“Ah, thank God. I thought I had lost you there. You didn’t breathe for a while.” Seth took Edith into his arms.
“What happened?”
“I don’t know. As soon as I woke up, it already looked like this, and you were lying next to me, not breathing. Your body is so cold!”
Seth hugged Edith once again to give the girl warmth. The werewolf’s body temperature is indeed hotter than that of ordinary humans. As much as possible, Seth wanted to make Edith comfortable when he was by his side.
Seth carried Edith into the room and put her on the bed. He took a thermometer from the nightstand drawer and checked the girl’s temperature. The temperature is a level lower than humans body normal temperature.
Seth immediately enveloped Edith’s body and turned on the heater. Seeing how Seth was so frightened and worried as at this time, made Edith’s conscience aroused. She took Seth’s hand and said, “Thank you, you’ve taken good care of me!”
“I can’t see you in this kind of weak. It makes me helpless. I don’t know if I’ll be able to survive if you leave me.”
Edith stared at the brownish eye bead that turned somber when she said the sentence just now. There was compassion in her heart that took over the hatred that Edith had pinned since the beginning of knowing Seth. She felt an accompanying sincerity in every word he heard.
Edith straightened up and took Seth’s hand, saying, “Let’s take it slow, okay! It seems that I am starting to be touched by your sincerity.”
Seth lifted his head from a downward to the floor being level with the girl’s head. There is a twinkle of happiness emanating from his beautiful brown eyes. Once again Edith became complacent as she looked back into those eyes.
“Can I kiss you? I won’t do it if you don’t allow it.”
Edith nodded and at that moment, Edith felt Seth’s hands touch her face. His lips briefly pecked Edith’s forehead, which was returned with a smile on the girl’s lips. Unwilling to waste the opportunity, Seth’s gaze turned to Edith’s belly and says, “Hi, Julian. Your mother seems starting to like me. Thank you for helping me to melt her heart, little wolf!”
“I want to ask you. Why did you name him Julian? You seem absolutely sure that this kid is a boy.”
“I have a strong intuition, actually exactly like my father. That’s why he became Alpha in our pack. Hmm… even if this child is later a girl, just change it to Juliette. I think the name sounds beautiful. Julian sounds dashing, and Juliette sounds beautiful, like her mother.”
There was a blush on Edith’s white face. She blushed at the compliment given by Seth for her. Every girl will definitely feel floating when praised like that, even her stubborn self.
“Did you do that to every girl?”
“Which one?”
“Tempting?”
Seth thought for a while. Does he have to answer truthfully or lie? In fact, he often does it to every girl in school, just to play tricks on them, of course. There is no more feeling.
He decided to answer, “I used to be.” Seth waited for Edith’s reaction. He listened to every move made by the girl, even the look on her face. Until now, Edith has had an ordinary face.
“Did you sleep with them too?”
Why should he be asked such a question? It was a very difficult question for him to answer. Facing a girl like Edith is as difficult as climbing the highest mountain in the world. Seth has to go through all kinds of obstacles to get to the top.
“Do you want an honest answer from me?”
Edith nodded. For Edith, bitter honesty was better than sweet lies. It is humane to hear bitter honesty that makes her upset, but it is only temporary and does not settle down into a time bomb.
“Just a few times.” Seth replied hoarsely, hesitant to be honest with Edith.
“I expected it, but why am I the one who is pregnant instead of them?”
Seth gawked. He didn’t expect the question sentence he had heard after assuming far enough that Edith would react like yesterday. “I always use condoms.”
“Ah, I forgot that one. What? Does that mean you did it with me on purpose?”
“I’ve told you about it. As I said earlier, I have a strong intuition.”
“Oh yes, I’m sorry, I forgot. Speak about forgetting. Why have I forgotten so much lately? Yesterday, when I was jealous of you, I forgot after we argued, and just now I forgot after seeing you stabbing yourself in the chest… STAB?”
Edith opened her eyes wide and touched Seth’s chest, which looked okay. She touched it to look for wounds from broken bottles, but she found no wounds at all. Edith was buffeted by confusion; her forehead furrowed as if this had become a burden to her.
“I’m sure I saw you stabbing yourself with that bottle shard, Seth! How could the wound heal like nothing happened?”
“What am I…?”
“You got drunk, raved incoherently, and stabbed yourself. Right here!”
Edith pointed exactly where the wound should have been.
