Luke’s POV
“A date?”
I was in the gym of the mansion when Seraphina skipped in and started going on about her date with Ezekiel. The topic was none of my business, but she wanted me to tell her more about Ezekiel.
“Ask him yourself.” I tightened the bandages on my wrists and swung at the punching bag, my brows furrowed in irritation. That bitter feeling was stirring in my chest again.
Ever since they met, Seraphina’s attention was fixated on Ezekiel, and Ezekiel, he was milking the situation with his God damned charm.
I raised my hands to deliver another punch, then Seraphina blocked my view. It was a good thing I managed to stop my fist before it made contact with her face.
“Careful,” I warned her, already growing tired of the conversation.
“Tell me.” She insisted. “I want to know what kind of guy he is.”
A dry chuckle escaped my lips. “He’s a man whore.” I say simply. “And you are nothing but another fling to him, so you better stay away.”
Seraphina tilted her head to the side. “Is that really why you want me to stay away?”
I turned away from her to grab a bottle of water from the cooler. “I’m busy Seraphina.”
“Well I don’t mind if he’s a man whore, it only means he must be good in bed.” she followed me.
My grip on the bottle unconsciously tightened. “Do want you want.”
Seraphina fell silent, and I continued my workout while she watched me. After I was done, she was still here.
I chose to ignore her and moved to head to my room for a shower, and she continued to follow me like a lost duckling. When we arrived at my room, and she tried to enter I stopped her.
“I want to have a shower.”
She shrugged her shoulders. “Let me join.”
“Huh?”
“It’s not a question.”
I stood at my door and watched in awe as she entered the room and began to strip.
“Seraphina,” I called after her, but she ignored me. My jaw clenched as I fought to stay calm.
Fed up with her nonsense, I grabbed her hand and pulled her out of my room.
“Hey!” she protested, struggling against my grip. “I’ll tell Father!”
“Enough with the empty threats.” I snapped, narrowing my eyes in contempt.
“Stop acting so shameless.”
I picked her clothes from the floor and threw them at her. “Get out!”
Seraphina glared at me, her green eyes glowing with malice. “You’ll regret this.” her chest heaved, but I couldn’t care less at the moment.
I slammed the door in her face, letting out a frustrated groan as I combed my hair through my fingers. She had gone crazy, I’m sure of it. How can she go from gushing over Ezekiel to asking to join me in the shower?
And what I hated the most was the fact that it fucking turned me on. She always used her father to threaten me, but I doubt she would call him for such a feeble reason.
I took a cold shower to calm down, and when I stepped out, I found Robert waiting in my room with a grave expression.
“Young master….” Robert shook his head, avoiding to meet my gaze as he handed me a black envelope. “You have a message from the headmaster.”
I froze, my blood running cold. Could she have…..
I snatched the envelope and ripped it open, and it was a letter from my father. As I read the contents of my letter, my heart thundered in my chest. Father had frozen all of my accounts and given all access to Seraphina as punishment for hurting her. And I was to spend a night in the dark room.
“You can’t be serious.” I looked up at Robert in disbelief, “Why would he go to such extreme lengths?”
Robert sighed. “Miss Seraphina told him you had struck her, and she also took a picture of the bruise as proof.”
The hell?
“I didn’t hit her!” You’ve got to be kidding me.
Robert hung his head low. His hands were tied. “I was told by Master Leviticus to bring you to the dark room.”
Dread pooled in my stomach. This was really happening. The dark room. A place reserved for only traitors, but now I would be entering there as a form of punishment for an act I didn’t commit.
As I stepped out of my room, my steps faltered as I saw Seraphina waiting outside. True to Robert’s words, she had a deep bruise on her cheek. Had she struck herself just to frame me?
Her taunting smile came slow, and my hands balled into fists at my sides. This bitch.
Once we got to the dark room, which was located in the underground chambers of the mansion, Brother Leviticus was already there. I gulped my spit, bracing myself for what was to come.
“Good luck young master.” Robert gave me a reassuring pat on my back before leaving.
“Baby brother.” Levi laughed as he casually swung his arms around my shoulders. I kept my head low, knowing any wrong move would be fatal.
Levi never liked me, and this was his sick way of showing it.
I groaned as he grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him. A chill ran down my spine as I looked into his empty eyes, where his smile didn’t reach.
“You should know better than to hit a woman.” He started, but his tone had a comical tinge that could only be a mockery.
I wanted to say I didn’t do it, but his grip on my jaw was so firm I feared he would break it with his bare hands.
“But no worries,” he let go of me, shoving me into the seat and trapping me in tight. My gaze was hard as I stared at him, wanting nothing more than to be done with this.
Levi flexed his knuckles, “This also counts as brotherly bonding.”
His punch was fast and powerful. My head snapped to the side, and the metallic taste of blood stung my tongue as the rush of pain blurred my vision.
Levi threw his head back and laughed, the sound causing my stomach to churn. With a clap of hands, the lights switched off, and although the room was pitch black, I could still see his wild satisfied grin.
****
The next morning Robert helped me back to my room and took care of my wounds, I didn’t realize I had fallen asleep in the process, and when I opened my eyes, I found Seraphina beside me, taking Robert’s place to tend to my wounds.
I would’ve pulled back if I could, but I could barely lift a finger. What was she up to now? The silence between us stretched like an elastic spring, and I was beginning to grow more anxious.
Her hair was pulled into a low ponytail, and she wore a thin lavender nightgown stopped at her thighs. I watched her with a silent glare, hating how vulnerable she made me feel.
“What do the wang from me?” I couldn’t help but ask, and she took her time before answering. I tried to ignore how her hands glided against my skin, the pain from the beating I received mixing with something more.
Seraphina shifted on the bed, then slowly, she straddled me, her green eyes hooded seductively.
“Control,” she whispered as she leaned close, her lips a few inches away from mine. She sat on my crotch, and I bit back a groan. “Are you still going to refuse me, Arroyal?”
Her green eyes held a silent warning, daring me to make a mistake. I realized that this was her true color, using her power to manipulate and take what she deemed was hers. Seraphina held my gaze, then her attention drifted to my lips.
I inhaled sharply as she began to grind against me, pulling her bottom lip between her teeth.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
“Answer me,” she demanded.
I swallowed hard, my heart racing. “No.” I forced out, and a satisfied smile spread across her face.
“Perfect.” Seraphina’s lips crashed against mine, and I felt a spark of electricity run through my body.
It was strange. To want and despise someone at the same time. My mind was a jumble of emotions, but my body seemed to have a mind of its own. I felt my lips parting, allowing her to invade my mouth, and my tongue tangling with hers.
I wanted to remind myself that I had no choice but to give in to her needs, but then why did it feel like I was drowning in her touch?
As the kiss deepened, I felt my body responding, my heart racing, my skin burning. I knew I was in trouble, that I was losing myself to Seraphina’s control.
But I couldn’t help it. I couldn’t stop.
As twisted as it was, I didn’t want to.
