“You were blabbing something earlier?” His eyes smoldering around her like a prey, his were lips curved to a side which made him look like a psychopath.
“Did you think I believed that? __ that crap!” He yelled banging his hand on the chair arm he sat on. She jerked back falling to the ground in the process before kneeling straight.
With the way he was reacting, there was nothing that she could say to convinced him, she could only seek his mercy right now.
She lifted her head, and her gaze met up with bottomless cold blue eyes smouldering against her making her bite her lip to avoid sobbing out.
“I… I… what can I do to make you believe me, I really do not know anything past what I have told you.” Each word left her mouth with great difficulty, minding each word so it wouldn’t annoy the devil in her front.
Alejandro straightened up, he knew she was telling the truth because by the time he cracked those puzzled boxes, it was a bunch of useless information that was there though it might be useful to her but to him, it was nonsense.
Now, she was proposing what he did love to hear, his lips curved into a tiny smirk, maybe she shouldn’t have said that because there was no tiny escaping from him now.
His eyes lingered around her shivering posture, her blush olive skin now white and scrappy. The jasira he knew was not like this but that pulled nothing nothing out of him.
That was what he thought but then why was he bothered just by looking at her? Why did he want to spare her and take her out of there? He shut his eyes tightly before he stormed out angrily, the door banged loudly against the wall behind him.
Jasira stared at the doorway stunned and scared, is it what she said? Is he going to punish her more than before? The thoughts roamed through her head leaving her restless.
Her belly growled out louder than it had been doing for days, how many days had it been that they refused to give her food except useless water?
Is this how she was going to die? No! She screamed mentally. Her mother would be so sad and depressed. There was no way she could give up now.
Alejandro strolled through the hallway down to his room with only a ginger-haired girl occupying his thoughts. He hated the fact that he couldn’t pull her out of his head. He intentionally didn’t visit her before because she irritated him so much, every time he thought about her. He’d felt like punching her for lying to him but seeing how she looked so miserable and fragile. He wasn’t able to do anything to her.
It annoyed him, it irritated him that he couldn’t do anything to her, and before she would occupy his head completely. He must find something to do to her and it must be fast so…
The beeping sound coming from the phone disrupted his thoughts. He brought his phone from the black jeans he was putting on.
“Scorpion,” It reads on the screen and he wasted no time in picking it up. He was one of the boys he planted in Fabiano’s club. Fabiano was his boss until he tried to kill his mother and he fought his way out.
The bald old man who should have retired from business. Everything about them was competition, the clubs, the casinos, the strip club.
The man wanted everything he wanted and he couldn’t get rid of him easily because he was older than him, was in the business before him, and was a stupid mafia lord.
“Hello.” His voice vibrated to the other end of the phone.
“Boss,” Scorpion’s husky voice replied to him immediately.
“Fabiano is planning to open another strip club at Tema,”
“What? What the fuck?” He thundered.
“That is my territory, he knew I already had strip club and normal club there.”
Scorpion said nothing giving him time to subdue his anger so he wouldn’t bounce back on him, he waited till he ordered him to speak before he continued.
“The building owner is still debating on selling the building for him or not but he had bought the contract file home and a diamond he wants to bribe him.”
“If we could get the file and diamond, he is nothing without it.”
Alejandro was quiet for a while, for something like that, he would guard it with his entire life, stealing them without plans would put him into trouble and let him lose a lot of boys.
“Find out everything he likes, from women to food to games. Everything entirely.”
“Yes, boss.” He said quickly and hung up as he heard a sound coming his way.
Alejandro hissed irritatedly and punched the wall beside him, dust sprinkled on the floor which he paid little attention to. His hands were bruised with blood on the open skin and he hissed again upon seeing it.
************
A day later
Alejandro twisted the glass of wine in between his forefinger and his thumb before he sipped the red liquid gently.
The hot liquid burned his throat giving him a sweet sensation as he sipped another gulp. He was waiting for the text from Scorpion, he understood he was taking so long because he had to be careful so he wouldn’t be suspected.
Just as he was thinking about that, his phone beeped indicating a new message.
He clicked the file from the email and opened it impatiently.
Choice of women: Thick or curvy women, red-haired women, or nearest in color.
He loves anything in skirt as much as it is attractive.
Best colors: Red
He went to Max strip club every Friday where he got girls that would spend the night with him in his multi-purpose office in the club.
The bar is filled with security but by late hours, when the club population had reduced. They tend to lose focus.
And it was a red diamond boss.
Alejandro re-read the message till he remembered every detail of him in his head, thinking of every possible way he could get through him. Every detail here was useful but useless if any single mistake was made.
Who would be perfect for the job? Then it clicked and a light devilish smirk found its way to his lips.
