The loud and aggressive opening of the door hauled Jasira up in her sleep.
She squinted her eyes adjusting them to the illuminated figure that was trodding heavily toward her.
It was the same guy that kept her here, she went still on her chair when he stood in her front towering over her with his huge figure. Why are Alejandro’s men so huge and tall? She left the thought when she saw him crouching down to her level and grabbing the chair leg.
Is he going to tie her again? She panic but immediately tried to jerk away when she felt his cold touch on her ankle, he held her in place as he uncuffed her right leg and then her left. She stared at him dumbfounded.
“What… what are you doing?” She stammered wiggling on the chair.
“Shut up, bitch.” He spat and Jasira didn’t know when a scoff left her mouth. She could accept any insults but not one from a manwhore or a puppet following his master.
“I’m not a bitch.” She retorted rudely.
The guy glanced up and let out a throaty mocking laugh, Jasira tilt her head to a side, confusion spread over her face.
“You became one immediately after you accept the devil’s offer.”
His words were like salt that spread over her never healing wounds reopening them before they start to heal. She kept mute and closed her eyes, trying not to think much about his words but she knew he was right. She was the devil’s bitch.
She snapped her eyes open immediately as she sensed his touch on her wrist also, her heart was palpitating loudly as he was unlocking the cuffs.
Butterflies, anxious butterflies with sharp wings fly endlessly in her stomach, and when she heard a click. A peaceful sense of feeling ran through her. She was finally free! She can now stand up and feel her butts that had been on this annoying and very uncomfortable chair for hours or even days.
“Stand up, you are free.” The guy announced unbothered glaring at her with disgust.
For some moments, Jasira was stunned as she only stared into space, processing the shit that just happened. he decide to free her just after some hours he visited her. To even think that he cut her jaw.
“Are you deaf or what? Get the fuck on your feet!” The guy boomed angrily and Jasira jerked on the chair. When he saw that she was not ready to aid to his words, he yanked her by her hair and pulled her up.
“Ahhh.” She cried in pain and forced her hair from his hand, she staggered without his support while trying to stand on her feet.
Every part of her body hurt, like she was being cut into pieces and being stitched together in a painful way, her shoulder felt so heavy and her knees shook violently at every step she took out of the dungeon.
She followed the guard who was careening fastly before her, trying to keep up with his pace was so difficult.
“Hey, wait for me.” She called out but he act deaf to her words.
“Ahhh!” A small yelp left her mouth as she stepped out, she closed her eyes covering her face with her hand, the sun was so bright and the brightness made her eyes burn.
She started opening her eyes slowly while adjusting to the brightness, when she succeed, she followed the guard who was looking at her with disgust.
He let out a grouchy hiss before he continued trudging away. Jasira sighed having no energy to bicker with him. Her bare feet walked through the hot cemented floor, they burn with each step she took. She had lost her shoes back in the dark room and she regretted that immediately. It was becoming so difficult for her to walk, so tiring but she knew she must keep trying.
She stopped abruptly on her feet when she sighted Alejandro waiting for her by the threshold, he stood tall with his hands crossed over his torso. Her heart was pounding loudly in her chest and her stomach churned that she felt so sick as she approached him.
Her breath hitched when she got to him, Alejandro studied her with his scrutinizing cold blue eyes, his eyes roamed around her body before stopping on her jaw. He notice that she had wounds on her jaw, they were tiny and would heal soon and he hated that. He wanted her to have scars.
“Don’t mess with me.” He warned coldly turning away from her and going in while slamming the door in her face.
Jasira rubbed her forehead tired of every shit she got herself in, escaping only got her into bigger trouble and now she had no choice but to accept her fate.
She walked through the door and walked leisurely to her room making sure she didn’t lose her way since it was her first time going alone.
A sharp long breath escaped from her mouth as she shut her room door, she shambled tirelessly to the small dresser in her room.
She grabbed the table closing her eyes before she flung them open and gaze at her reflection in the mirror. A low unsurprising gasp left her mouth, she wasn’t stunned by her reflection because she knew she would look worse.
Her eyes were puffy with purple circling under her eyeballs, her full rosy lips are now shattered and pale. There were red stains and black stains on her face making her look like a homeless lady.
Her hand moved to her jaw and she winced out in pain before examining it closely. The way his fingers dug into her jaw reflected in the mirror, five tiny wounds with dried blood. If treated, they won’t become permanent scars but if not her skin was going to be damaged for life and thank God, she bought a scar-fading cream with her.
Her mind reflected to the way he inflicted pain on her and the image made her dread Alejandro even more, she balled her shaking fist before a hurting laugh bobbled out of her throat, Alejandro hurt her because of his stupid claim over her. How could a man claim her because he is powerful? Threatening her over her life.
She loathed him so much that the only thing on her mind was revenge. To inflict pain on him, made him beg just the way he’d make her but deep down she knew that was never going to happen.
The buzzing of her phone on the dresser pulled her out of her thought. She purposely left her phone here on the day she planned to escape so he won’t track her down but looked at where she was back to now.
She picked it up and Marina displayed on the screen.
“How is everything?” She asked neglecting the pleasantries Marina threw forward. If Alejandro walked in on her, she would make him remember her mother once again and that was the last thing she want.
“Really?” She gasped
“The operation is done.” She half-yelled happily.
“Thank you, I will soon come there.”
After dropping the call with Marina, she proceed in taking her bath.
By the time she was done with her bath, her stomach was rumbling loudly. She needed food and she doesn’t know her way to the kitchen.
She had to find her way to the kitchen or she was going to die of hunger, she was going through the rooms, going from one room to room another while looking for the kitchen. She didn’t know how she end up getting to the control room.
She shouldn’t have bothered to walk further into the room but she was not someone who forgot things easily, curiosity is her second friend.
She hadn’t taken more than five steps when that cold voice boomed to her from her back.
“What are you doing here?”
