It had been hours or even days she have been retained here.
She had lost track of time, she didn’t know how long she had been held here in capture without food and a little water.
The skin on her wrist kept tearing their self from the tight cuffed. Her shoulders hurt from being twisted in the wrong direction for so long that she fear that her joint hasn’t dislocated from each other.
The pain was less compared to the fact that she hadn’t seen her capturer but she would admit that she love it. She was not ready to meet him, she didn’t want to face the devil yet. She can’t stare at the darkness in his eyes and she can’t withstand the horror atmosphere that filled anywhere he was.
Her stomach rumbled due to hunger and a weak groan left her mouth before she threw her head back. Her eyes felt dizzy with stars blurring her sight, she could faint from the hunger that she was feeling now.
She shifted uncomfortably on the chair which almost result in her falling to the ground before she balanced on the floor.
All hope had been lost, Alejandro is going to be killed by hunger.
Keeping her here was a plan to mess up her mental health. She had been imagining if dead bodies were kept here or if people have been killed here before. Chills run through her body which made her tremble. The hair on her skin stood up in fear and she let out a low sob throwing her head back.
______
Jasira jerk up from her sleep like electricity was plunged into her body. She didn’t remember sleeping at all.
The cold water trailed down her hair to her eyes down to her clothes. The water soaked her up from her hair to her toe. She shivered clenching her teeth together while trying to shift her wet hair from her face but it was useless.
Her eyes fluttered open as she blinked the drop of water from her eyes. After her vision was cleared, seeing the illuminated figure in her front made her stiff.
The sharp, killer jaw man. The man with blue eyes was filled with rage. Her eyes dropped to his veiny forearm. So many veins under his skin and his rolled sleeve were doing nothing to hide them.
“Done ogling over me,” Alejandro muttered spitefully as he stalked to her front, he grabbed her chin and tilt it up so she could glance at him.
Jasira’s eyes drooped as she stared at him under her wet long eyelashes.
The time she dreaded had arrived and she had no choice but to embrace it, Alejandro was looming over her like a giant, reminding her how huge he was compared to her petite figure.
Jasira inhale lazily, it felt so hard to do, she had no energy left in her, she closed her eyes before opening them lazily.
“Alejandro,” She mumbled submissively.
“It’s not Alejandro to you anymore.” Her eyes flapped open suddenly and they met up the blazing blue eyes. Her eyes closed instantly on their own before she forced them open.
She stared at his jaw instead unable to glimpse at his terror-filled eyes. Even in her predicament, she noticed the small stumble grazing his face.
“What… what did you mean?”
Alejandro scoffed darkly when his hands met with her chin. He grabbed her chin tightly and tilt them up, she flinched at his sudden touch, his cold fingers made her tremble as she stared at anything but his face.
“You will refer to me as your lord only.”
“My lord!.” She gasped loudly directing her eyes to him. He looked unaltered with her going hysterical under his touch.
“And there are rules now.” He enunciated each word to her with a dark smirk on his face.
“Rules?”
She hadn’t heard the rules but they already frightened her. They made her shiver because she knew his rules would be horrible as him.
“And they are?” She managed to ask in her drowsy voice.
“You would know everything when you break one.”
“Ale__My lord!” She gasped.
“That is absurd and__” Alejandro rigged his long nail into her skin before she could complete her sentence which made her yell in pain.
“Rule number one; don’t question my order.” Horror dripped out of his voice as he dug his nails deeper into her chin until it draw blood.
Her blood flowed down to her neck and some into his nails before he removed it and displayed it on her.
Her eyes bugged out in fear as she saw how the red liquid dripped from his nails. She watched as a drop dropped on her thigh, followed by another drop and another until she can’t watch anymore.
“You will lose more than this.” He promised with his eyes glinting with fury.
She was thunderstruck by his voice, stiffed under his gaze. She wanted to yell in his face cause of his attitude but she could only stare at him dumbfounded.
“I know you are smart and you won’t mess with my rules.”
She watched his retreating figure, her heart pounding loudly in her ribcage and she sighed throwing her head backward. Her blood cascaded down her jaw to her neck and to her cloth where she can’t feel the cold metallic feeling again.
The wound must have been open more than she thought for the blood to still be rolling out. She shut her eyes tightly from the pain before biting hard on her bottom lip.
Her eyes getting drowsy again but she kept them open because she won’t give up anymore. She was going to fight! For her life.
____
Alejandro cleaned his fingers and hand with the white napkin Maxwell gave to him.
It have been three days since he kept her there and he was not planning on releasing her yet. He wanted to teach her not to mess with him, he thought being gentle with her would make her have sense but he was wrong, and that only made her more fearless.
He was walking absentmindedly that he didn’t know he had turned to the hallway that led to his mother’s apartment.
He hissed lowly rubbing his temple when he noticed the mistake. He shrugged and cracked the door open. It has been days since he saw his mother before. He used this opportunity.
“Mom.” He reached out going to her favorite place, the veranda and truly she was there with a book in her hand.
“Mom.” He released a full smile taking a seat on the bench in her front.
“My baby.” She cooed with a smile.
“What are you reading?” He asked.
“My pregnant Maid.” She answered showing him the cover page and he shrugged, he is not a fan of books, he deals best with guns.
“I haven’t seen Jasira for a while, where is she?” She asked changing the subject.
“Huh?” He tilted his eyebrow unbothered. There was no way he is telling his mother that he locked her up even though she knew the kind of job he did but he still preferred hiding everything from her.
“She may be busy in her room.” He lied but when he glanced at his mother’s face and knew that she was not buying his lie, he let out a small groan.
“You locked her in the dungeon, didn’t you?”
“What?” He exclaimed which made Lily roll her eyes like she doesn’t know him like the back of her hand.
“How did you know?” He demanded gently.
“Maxwell.” She shrugged.
“Damn you, Maxwell,” Alejandro cursed between his gritted teeth before he turned to her.
“Yes, she tried to run away.”
Lily sighed, she knew she was planning that immediately she saw her disorganized room that day. She had also been in her situation before just that she actually escaped but she crawled back to the monster herself. The monster who turned her son into this.
“I knew.” She muttered and dropped her book on her lap. She grabbed his hand into her hers and rubbed it gently.
“Can you release her?” She pleaded and Alejandro scoffed. He was expecting that from her so he wasn’t surprised when she requested that. His mother is a weak woman.
“Forget about her.” He dismissed standing on his feet and Lilly rolled her eyes.
She knew he won’t listen to her, he doesn’t mix business with feelings.
“I need to start going, I had some meetings to attend.”
“Love you.” He muttered pressing a kiss on her forehead.
“I love you too, my baby.”
“Alejandro,” She called when he was by the threshold.
“Please, do it for me.” She muttered with a smile and he exhaled before going out saying nothing.
