Jasira watched as Alejandro and Maxwell walked out of the club. His blue eyes were fixated on her and she bet he was smirking under that black mask.
“He scares me,” Barbie whispered beside Jasira as she shifted her gaze from the devil.
“He gave me goosebumps and made me shiver,” Jasira muttered back to her and let out a relieving sigh when they left.
Barbie breathed out all the breath she didn’t know she held in all while glancing at Jasira whose eyes were still fixed on the door.
She grabbed her arm before she dragged her to the changing room seeing that the coast was clear, she turned to her.
“What did he say to you?”
Jasira exhaled and fisted her ginger hair in her palm, her heart shrinking thinking about the condition between both of them.
“He wanted me to be his sex slave.” She answered barely above a whisper, she avoided making eye contact with Barbie and played with the hem of her clothes. Shame eating deep into her gut.
“Are you serious?” Barbie half yelled and Jasira sighed glancing to look at her. Barbie’s eyes were shot out and her mouth was hanging apart.
“Yes.” She answered releasing another breath.
“Did you accept?”
“Like I have a choice.” She grunted with an eye roll.
“Oh my!” Barbie gasped sadly pushing her lips forward, that was too wicked of that stupid man.
“But__” Barbie’s eyes shot to her.
“What?” She asked impatiently.
“He offered me money.”
“He did?” She asked gobsmacked.
“Yeah, I was shocked too.”
“I can’t believe he did that,” Barbie whispered absentmindedly.
“Same here, judging that he is the devil who doesn’t give a fuck about taking something forcefully.”
“Are you going to be his… you know__” Barbie stuttered trying not to call the sex slave, Jasira nodded and continued.
“Till when?”
“Till he wants.”
“Is he okay?” She gasped shockingly covering her mouth with her palm.
“I have no choice.”
“No wonder he is the devil.”
Jasira said nothing and only stared into space, she saw danger looming around her in the form of a blue-eyed man.
She pulled Barbie into a hug knowing this would be the last time they would be together.
“I will miss you.” She whispered.
“Why?” She asked in confusion.
“I’m resigning,” Barbie pulled away from the hug and glared at Jasira.
“What did you mean?”
“I have to live with him now!”
“Are you kidding me?” She thundered shocked.
“I yelled more than that when I heard that.”
“How are you to cope?”
“One way or the other, I knew I’m going to survive.”
“Oh.” She cooed sadly pulling her into another hug.
“I will miss you.” She said tearfully hugging her tightly.
“I too!”

The ray of sunlight that reflected from the window blind made Jasira hiss sleepily and pulled the duvet up to her head.
She hated sunrise so much, she was still trying to sleep when she remembered a lot that would happen today. She kicked the duvet away and sat upright staring at the door.
The urge to yell and throw things away build up but she knew she can’t, her mother was in the next room.
Her eyes roamed around her mini-sized bedroom that had a single bed and a worn-out wardrobe by the side.
Mere looking at her room, you could tell she was a poor rat, all the money she made was spent on her mother’s health and the nanny’s salary.
Releasing a sigh, she stood on her feet and went into the bathroom. She slammed her palm across her face when she remembered that she hasn’t paid the water fee, and there was no water in the house again.
She groaned punching the wall that almost cracked under her punch, the damn house was even weak.
With the money she has now, she could get another house for her mother after she was done with her treatment.
She walked wobbly out of the room and grabbed her phone, the only new thing in her life.
It was given to her by one of the men who wanted to date her and decided to spend on her thinking she would fall for his money. Idiot, she thought pressing the phone so she could pay the bill.
After a successful transfer and a notification that the water was restored, she went to have her bath and the rest.
***
Jasira was on her way to deposit her mother’s at the hospital, she had a total of four million dollars now In the bank with her savings, it was more than enough.
Depositing the money. She went back to her house and upon getting down from the cab, a black Mercedes was packed in front of her house.
She wanted to turn back and ran till she was saved, removing that deadly thought from her mind, she approached them.
“Boss sent us to you.” Maxwell related the message immediately after she was before him.
Jasira sighed and smirked, she decide to taunt that stupid man and his boss.
“Tell him I want him to be here himself.” She ordered with a smirk and went into her house without waiting for his answer or the expression on his face.
She met her mom and her nanny in the lounge room.
“Can I have a word with you?” She asked the nanny who nodded with a smile.
Marina was a middle-aged woman who was close to her mother’s age than her.
“I really need a favor from you.” She started and Marina arched her brow.
“Go on.” She muttered friendly.
“I’m going on a long vacation and I need someone to watch over her.”
“Like a live-in nanny?” She asked and Jasira nodded.
“That’s okay by me.”
“Thank you so much.” She said pulling her into a hug and she hugged her back.
“Does your mother know about the vacation?” Marina asked after the hug.
“Yes, and she supports it.”
Jasira dipped her hand inside the tote bag she was holding, she brought out two thousand dollars and the hospital invoice.
“Here.” She passed it to her.
“Mother will start her treatment tomorrow__
“For real?” Marina beamed happily and Jasira nodded with a smile.
“The notes there is your two months’ salary, I increased it.”
“Thank you.” She muttered and Jasira nodded.
She brought out another one thousand dollars note.
“Here is if mother needs anything at the hospital.” She explained.
“I will leave now.”
“You are going today.”
“Yes, sorry for not informing you earlier.”
“It’s okay, I understand.”
“Thank you so much.” She smiled at her before going back to the lounge room.
A knock came on the door and she walked briskly towards it so her mother won’t wake up.
She cracked the door open and peeked her head out to see Maxwell standing there holding a phone to her face.
For a moment, she forgot what she said before entering the house, she gasped when the realization hit her, the bastard related her messages to him, she was freaking joking!
“Don’t make him wait.” Maxwell snapped and she snatched the phone from him not without giving him her middle finger.
She placed the phone on her cheeks and the cold voice boomed into her ear.
“If you make me come there, you won’t follow with your eyes.”
