Chapter 215 We’re Done

Book:Let Me Go, Sugar Daddy Published:2025-3-3

Once Conrad left, Michelle came downstairs. “Where is he?”
Paul frowned. “What’s going on? Is he taking our staff?”
Michelle was speechless. “I think your eyes need some work.”
“Is this some sort of kidnapping? Is this the new act your family has planned? Should I scream or call the police?” York asked.
“Obviously, there’s no need for any of that.” Simon poured himself a cup of coffee. “Didn’t you see how he was holding her, trying to make sure her head didn’t hit the cabinet, even hurting his own hand?”
Conrad was clearly feeling sorry for his girl.
Michelle rubbed her forehead. This idiot… Does he even know how to charm a woman?
For heaven’s sake, she had arranged everything perfectly for him, and he still found a way to ruin it.
If he can’t speak properly, he might as well chop off that worthless tongue of his, soak it in vinegar, and eat it as a side dish!
“So… do I still need to draft the contract?” Edward, sitting aside, asked.
After all, they’d finalized a bunch of contracts today, and each one needed to be adjusted.
“Just keep doing your thing.”
When Pearl came downstairs, Edward called her over, pinched her hand, and subtly asked, “Anything today?”
Pearl gave an “OK” gesture. “Exceeded the task the organization gave.”
Robin scoffed, “What’s with you guys, playing charades we can’t hear?”
Edward smiled meaningfully. “You wouldn’t understand.” Then he took a sip of coffee and added, “By the way, Miss Lillian seems to be pretty good friends with my client, but now that she’s been taken away, I guess I’ll have to talk to the client about the details of the divorce and asset split.”
Michelle called Conrad. “Hey, where are you taking her?”
“Back to City N.”
“Then who do I pay my money to?”
“There’s staff at her shop.”
“Alright, you little brat, looks like you’ve got everything figured out. Don’t need me to ask anything anymore. I can’t manage other things, but I like that girl, so don’t mess her up and lose her! A man who can’t talk should just shut up and do more work!”
Conrad listened to her rant and hung up the phone.
Lillian hit the car in frustration, but it was useless. She watched the car drive farther and farther away.
“Conrad! Are you crazy?! What gives you the right to decide for me? What gives you the right to restrict my freedom?!”
“Nothing,” Conrad said, holding her hand tightly. “I’m just able to trap you right now. If you can’t take it, you can kill me.”
“Are you not getting engaged to Daisy anymore? Or do you think I’ll just quietly be your mistress?”
Conrad shot her a sideways glance. “Can you calculate time? When I met you, Daisy didn’t even know where she was hiding. Besides, what does she have to do with us? Between the two of us, what does she have to do with anything?”
“I don’t care what your relationship with her is. Whether you’re engaged or not, I won’t go back to that position. We’re done. We’ve been completely over!”
Who the hell cares about who he’s getting engaged to?! It’s just too ridiculous.
“Over? You start and stop things on a whim, Lillian. You’re pretty casual about it.”
“I’m casual, is that okay?”
“No, it’s not okay.”
As they spoke, the stalemate continued.
Andrew and the driver didn’t dare to breathe a word, afraid that even the slightest noise would set off the two people behind him.
Lillian was dragged onto the plane, and Conrad tossed a garment bag at her. “Go change out of those dirty clothes.”
Lillian refused to cooperate and tried to get off the plane, but of course, she was dragged into the plane’s lounge by Conrad.
It was a private jet; though the bed was small due to limited conditions, it was still big enough for two people.
“Either I strip you and change you myself, or you cooperate.”
Lillian let out a cold laugh. “Conrad, so all this drama every day is just for a little sex, is that it?”
“I’m a man. What else is a man supposed to fuss over if not sex?” He was unapologetically honest.
The second he saw her in the room earlier, he had wanted to take her to bed.
“Disgusting,” she said flatly, her face completely blank.
He placed his hand above her and stroked her face with his fingers. “Well, that’s only disgusting to you.”
“This honor, Mr. Conrad, you can give it to whoever you want. I don’t want it.”
“Well, sorry, you won’t get what you want. I’m determined to give it to you.” He leaned down. “For now, you’d better be obedient. After this is all over, I’ll give you a satisfactory answer.”
“Are you kidding me? Leaving you is the most satisfying answer for me.”
“Then just stay unsatisfied. I’ll agree to everything else, and you can reach for the stars if you want.” Conrad said that and, as if uninterested in continuing this pointless conversation, stood up and left.
Lillian stared at the slammed door, then lay back on the bed, lost in thought.
She closed her eyes, tired.
There were so many things in the shop still, and now it was all destroyed by this man.
What the hell did he want?
When Conrad came back, Lillian was lying there motionless, exactly as she had been when he left earlier.
He placed the food on the side. “Get up and eat.”
Lillian didn’t respond.
“If you really want me to feed you, I can do that.” Conrad pulled her up, dragging her into his arms, and shoved a piece of steak toward her mouth.
Because she wouldn’t open her mouth, the juice splattered onto her collar.
Conrad didn’t help her clean it and said coolly, “Later, you’ll take a shower. I’ll help you. How’s that?”
Lillian opened her eyes. “Are you helping me shower, or are you just molesting me?”
“Showering involves touching the body. How is that molesting?”
“Conrad, are you obsessed with my body, or can’t you just let go of me?”
“Which one would you prefer?”
“I’d rather you be obsessed with my body than you falling in love with me.”
His hand faltered. “Why? In the past, I didn’t love you, and it made you miserable. You even tweeted about how you lay awake at night, trembling with fear at the thought of losing me. Now, it’s my turn to love you. Is that not okay?”
“Because I don’t need your love anymore. Whether you love me or not is meaningless to me now.”
The conversation ended in disappointment, as expected.
Twice in one day, he had been told she didn’t love him.
He was done with it.
He had always been self-centered.
As long as he was happy, that’s all that mattered.
Like some form of revenge, he carried Lillian into the bathroom.
Under the warm stream of water, he took advantage, teasing the woman hanging onto him.
Lillian’s gaze was cold, and when he was caught up in his passion, she coldly said,
“You know why every time I sleep with you, I have to be drunk? Because when I’m sober, I feel nothing for you. No matter how hard you try, to me, you’re just a lustful monster.”
“Heh, well, that’s very nice, Lillian. Your ability to piss me off has really reached new heights. Then just deal with it. Let’s see which of us has the stronger mouth!”
