Ulric had never heard of this term and naturally didn’t understand what it meant.
Johnny snorted, “Your wife’s best friend used me to try it out! And you don’t even care, prioritizing romance over friendship!”

Malcolm couldn’t be kept in the dark about this. They had just returned to the town and hadn’t even had a meal when Malcolm called.
He didn’t call Tilda but called Rosalind instead.
Seeing the caller ID, Rosalind immediately got up and walked out. She feared something had happened with B7 and couldn’t take the call in front of Ulric.
She answered only after stepping outside the restaurant.
“Malcolm.”
“Tilda’s parents called me. They said she has a boyfriend and has already introduced him to her parents. Do you know about this?”
So that was what it was about.
“I know.” In fact, they were having a meal together right now.
“What kind of person is he? I heard he’s very flirtatious, not like a good guy! Tilda’s parents are worried she might be deceived and asked me to find out.”
Rosalind rubbed her forehead, unsure how to describe Johnny.
If she praised him too much and he later hurt Tilda, it would be embarrassing. Complimenting him would also mean supporting their relationship.
But if she spoke ill of him, Malcolm might pressure Tilda to break up with Johnny.
After a few seconds of thought, she slowly said, “He treats Tilda well. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have agreed to be with him.”
“Dating is such a happy thing. However, she’s never given any hint or shared it with me. Isn’t that strange?” Malcolm paused. “Rosalind, tell me the truth. Who is Tilda’s boyfriend? I know him, right?”
Otherwise, they wouldn’t both be hiding it from him.
“Sort of.” Malcolm had never met Johnny directly.
“What’s his name?”
“Johnny Chow.” Rosalind had no choice but to tell him the truth.
Malcolm was silent for a few seconds before his tone became much heavier.
“The one who helped Sirena bully you?!”
“How could Tilda do such a thing?! I’m calling her.”
Malcolm was about to hang up when Rosalind quickly said, “Malcolm, the past is the past. Johnny… he was deceived at the time and considered Sirena as his friend, so he helped her. I understand and don’t mind anymore.”
“Anyone who helped Sirena can’t be good! They hurt you so badly, and Tilda is dating such a person! I absolutely won’t agree.”
With that, he hung up directly.
It was clear he was very angry.
Rosalind knew they couldn’t keep him in the dark and that it would definitely cause trouble!
She turned around to go back and talk to Tilda, but then she saw Ulric standing at the restaurant door, not too far or too close from her.
A gentle breeze lifted the hem of his clothes and his hair slightly, but he stood still, looking at her fixedly.
Ulric seemed more frightened than Rosalind, afraid that she might disappear any second.
He didn’t know when Rosalind would leave. He just felt she was ready to leave at any moment.
“Was it Malcolm?”
Seeing her hang up the phone, Ulric finally walked towards her with big strides.
