All Yours Daddy.
Nuella had gotten out of bed since 6 and aside from the bathroom where she had her bath and did her other daily routines, she had not stepped out of the room. She sat on her bed, engulfed with pain as the memories from the party night came crashing onto her, the weight on her chest heavy as she struggled amidst the guilt that was consuming her. She had not been able to get the incident from last night off her head. The thought that she had cheated on her calm boyfriend, and most crucially, she had not just cheated, she had enjoyed the movement of Mr Devine’s hand against her body. A veil of heat trekked down her body as his words filled her head, trashing the guilt she was filling a minute ago and replacing it with the desire to have his hand on her again.
Nuella exhaled softly deciphering the thoughts off her head as easily as they had made it to her head.
She picked herself up, advancing closer to the window and announcing to her inner mind that she was only there to draw the cotton apart and allow natural light to adorn her room with its beauty, but a part of her knew how unrealistic that excuse was. She had never been a person of light. She had loved black so much and made it a thing in her outfit routine, but today she had found herself walking closer to the window and she was doing that again for the unteempth time.
As she stood at the window, her eyes caught with series of cars that lined up. The first was the latest version of Audi the second was a Range Rover, the third was a Benz and there were about 7 cars in their huge compound.
Her heart skipped. She didn’t need to wonder who owned this amount of escort. After what happened between she and Devine last night she had questioned her dignity and left for her room, where she remained in her room wallowing in guilt and disgust, until this morning.
The muffling sound from downstairs drew her attention back to reality. Her gaze focused on Mr Devine who was now in the compound with her father, Rita and her two siblings. At the front of each car were guards standing with their heads bowed.
Nuella’s eyes motioned, and she managed to note just how well the Aura of the compound had changed since he walked in. This hot Demi God in his late thirties, had this unspeakable yet high dominating Aura. One that her father could not pull even In his forthies. She didn’t know how he manged to do it, but he carried himself with grace, lost in the thoughts of it, she suddenly felt Mr Devine eyes on her window. Her heart skipped as series of questions flooded her mind. Could he be staring at her? Was he disgusted at how repusive she had allowed his touch to get to her? All those thoughts navigated their way through her, but in reality, Mr Devine was staring at the window of her room with hope that he would get a glimpse of her face. He had been unable to sleep. His mind were conjured with the thought of her. The way she had moaned softly to his touch and the way she tasted against his tongue. Gosh. He craved this lustful desire that he should be striving to abstain from, but in reality, he badly wanted to engulf himself in this and allow it to consume him.
He had stayed this long hoping that she would come down stairs and roll her eyeball at every flirt that he made. Those hot eyes that made him want to spank her ass whenever she rolled her eyes at his flirt.
“Mr. Lorenzo.”the gentle call from Samantha pulled him out of his hazzle.
“Yes?” he cleared his throat softly and stared at her, with his both hands in his pocket. The cold expression returning back to his face.
“Is this the last time we get to see you?”
“Hopefully not.”
A warm smile spread across Samantha’s lips. Something about the way he spoke so unfazzed tied a knot at the bream of her abdomen.
Casting Nuella’s Window a one last glare. He bided the Enzo family a good bye and he made his ride to his awaiting Paradise.
Nuella exhaled softly returning to her bed. She was happy. Happy that she didn’t see him. Perpahs she thought she was happy, but he was finally out of her sight and out of her thoughts like he was for the last six years. Now she would be able to live her life, and not cheat on her boyfriend by crushing on a man who had the most ruthless identity, yet a face that could make you misjudge him.
She settled into the bed before grabbing onto her phone from the table beside her bed.
A message popped in and she checked the notification bar.
It was a message from James. She read through the message before giving a reply. She dropped the phone back on the bed and reached out to her book, flipping through to identify the pages she read last. A few seconds into it then a call came on her phone. Reluctantly, she checked the phone.
It was Daisy and that confirmation lit up her mood immediately.
“Hello pretty.” The bustling sound of Daisy’s voice filled her ear the moment she picked up the call.
“What’s up with you? You sound so….. Energetic.”Nuella noted. It was unlike Daisy. Daisy was always calm-spoken, outrightly different from Mira.
“So I don’t often sound Energetic?”
“Except there is a huge reason.” Nuella replied truthfully and Daisy blushed like Nuella could see her.
“Well.” She paused, then continued.
“There is indeed a reason. Daniel is back. He wants us to meet.”
“Oh my goodness. Your Daniel? He is back?”
Nuella felt a pang of happiness wash through her. Daniel was Daisy’s boyfriend, they had been together since high school and they had fought countless times, but they had never been able to break up without coming back. Each time they fought they often got back together, and it felt like their souls were intertwined. The kind of love they shared was sacred, except that it was equally toxic.
The bustling sound of Daisy’s voice came to play, jolting Nuella out of her thoughts. She batted her lashes softly, then asked.
“Are you going to meet him?”
Silent cheeped in and Nuella couldn’t help but figure out that something was wrong.
“Daisy.” She called from the other end like she could see her.
“Nuella I. I am seeing William’s… I can’t go to Daniel.”.
“But you love him?” Those were the only words that could make their way out of her mouth. Even though she knew it was wrong.
“Yes. I love Daniel and I love William. Perhaps I thought I loved him, but I didn’t. The one my heart beats for is Daniel. When we spoke today it felt like we have never been apart. I want to be with him, Nela. But I know I have to end things with William. Else that would be cheating. Being with William and thinking of Daniel’s touch as well as desiring him. I can’t do that. I need to find a way to break up with William cordially because he is a nice guy, and should not be cheated on, in anyways.
Nuella paused for a moment. Daisy’s words enlightening her about her own life. Did this mean that she didn’t love James as much as she thought she did? Does this mean that she loves ___ ‘No.’ she shut the thoughts out of her head. She could never be in love with Mr Devine. Perhaps she was in lust and that was very much possible, but love? She was never going to be in love with him. He was her father’s friend. A ruthless mafia lord and a serial flirt.
“Nuella.” She heard her name from the other end and suddenly jerked forward.
“I… I can hear you.”
“Are you okay?”
“Sure.” She replied batting her lashes softly like she could be seen.
“So when do you intend to do this? The break up thing?”
“I don’t know. I will just devise the right plan and be truthful.”
“I wish you didn’t have to do this, but I am happy you chose to be faithful. I hope you and Daniel do not have a reason to break up again.” It was Nuella’s usual habit to pray for people at the end of their conversation.
“I hope so too. And yes, I haven’t said a word to Mira. Do not say a word to her.”
“Okay, Daisy. I would never.”
The call ended as they both said a quick bye bye to each other.
Nuella dropped her book on the bed, her mind wondering through the thoughts of James, has she been really infatuated by him all this while?
She picked up her phone and dropped James a message. She needed to rekindle her relationship with James and get the intrusive thoughts of Mr Devine out of her head. It can’t be him, she should not even be lusting over him, let alone loving him
