“I’ve never, ever had a threesome,” he says, pouring another drink into my glass. I shake my head.
“I’m not going to play,” I refuse, and she bites her lower lip.
“Never have I ever fucked my cousin,” she says. I frown and look at her.
“You have. Double drinks,” she mutters simply, and I clench my jaw.
“What the fuck did Elizabeth say to you?” I ask. She glances at my glass, then at me. I roll my eyes and drink it.
“I’m not angry if that’s what you think. I know it was a mistake, and it was a long time ago.” She shrugs and pours again.
“You take another. It was double,” he says.
I shake my head, down the drink, and place the glass on the bar. Nina pours herself one and drinks it.
“I’m not having another one of those,” I say, grabbing the vodka bottle from her hands and setting it on the bar. “But I owe you a dance, so let’s go.”
I intertwine our fingers, and she smiles from ear to ear as we head back to the dance floor. This time, I decide to play along.
I move to the rhythm of the song, knowing I probably look ridiculous, but I don’t care as long as Nina is in front of me.
Her hips sway from side to side, her hands sliding over my shoulders before wrapping around my neck. She buries her face in the crook of my neck, her hot breath brushing against my skin. I slip my hands around her waist and pull her closer.
The music continues, but we ignore it completely. The moment is perfect-Nina and I dancing together under the moonlight. If I could freeze time, I would, without hesitation. Because I know this may not last forever. Nothing does.
“Sometimes I wish I knew what you were thinking,” she whispers in my ear. Despite the loud music, her voice is all I hear.
“As if everything else doesn’t exist.”
“You,” I say simply. “Always.”
I hear her soft laugh.
I smile and kiss the side of her head. Nina pulls back slightly, studying my face before pressing a short kiss to my lips.
“Shit, I’ve wanted to do that all night,” she says, relieved. I laugh and pull her closer, kissing her properly.
“Single ladies, your time has come! It’s time to throw the bouquet!” the DJ announces. A chorus of excited squeals erupts as a group of girls rushes to the center of the dance floor.
Nina and I laugh, standing a few meters behind them. The girls whisper to each other, nudging one another in anticipation as my sister takes her place, turning her back to them.
“What’s this all about, anyway?” Nina asks, amused.
Before I can answer, a wave of high-pitched screams fills the air-the bouquet has been tossed, and it lands in the last person I ever expected.
Nina.
“Oh my God!” Evelyn exclaims, laughing. I shake my head as my girlfriend looks at me, confused.
“I think you have to throw it again. It went too far,” a little girl says, handing the bouquet back to my sister.
“Maybe. Or maybe this means something,” Evelyn says with a shrug, giving me a pointed look as Nina tilts her head.
Evelyn walks away, leaving Nina staring at the bouquet before glancing up at me.
“Maybe I should comply,” I joke.
“Comply with what?” she asks, puzzled.
“It’s said that whoever catches the bouquet will be the next to get engaged,” I explain. Her eyes widen before she places the bouquet on the nearest table.
“It’s nothing personal-I love you-but I’m still very young,” she admits. I laugh and nod.
I lean in to kiss her, but she turns, and I end up kissing her cheek instead.
“Can I have the flowers? They’re pretty,” Lexy asks, tugging on Nina’s dress.
Nina smiles and hands them over. “They’re all yours, darling.”
The little girl’s eyes widen with excitement. “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” she squeals before hugging Nina’s leg and running off.
Nina looks at me and smiles slightly.
Just then, a voice speaks in a language I don’t recognize, and Nina’s eyes widen. She grabs my arm, pulling me back onto the dance floor.
As the song continues, she dances in front of me in the sexiest way I’ve ever seen.
Her hips roll in slow, deliberate movements, her hands raised, eyes locked onto mine. She spins, pressing her body against me, rubbing against my growing cock.
Nina moves against me, driving me insane. Then, suddenly, she pulls back, grabbing my tie, bending lower and lower-almost making me think she’s about to…
But she doesn’t. Instead, she rises, her body teasing mine until the song ends. I swear I’m sweating.
“I love that song,” she says, her cheeks flushing slightly. “Was that too much?”
“It was totally sexy, yes,” I admit, shaking my head. “But it wasn’t too much. In fact, I think you owe me a private dance now.”
She scoffs, crossing her arms before I pull her into a hug, kissing the top of her head.
“Damn, girl, you sure know how to move! Do you know MC Kevinho?” Daniel suddenly asks.
Nina makes a face but nods.
“My whole family is here, and they think you’ve got Brazilian roots with those moves. Irayas!” he exclaims before disappearing into the crowd.
I arch a brow at Nina, who smiles awkwardly.
“I think I won’t drink anymore. I just regretted that dance so much. Your mom is looking right at me… Shit,” she mutters, burying her face in my chest.
I chuckle and hug her.
“Want to go home?” I ask.
“No, it’s still early, and it’s your sister’s wedding,” she sighs, looking down. But I know she’s lying.
“Do you think it’d be a good story for our kids if we fucked at Aunt Evelyn’s wedding?” I ask, smirking.
She bursts out laughing.
Lifting her head, she brushes her nose against mine. “I’m not telling my kids where I fucked you.”
I laugh, biting my lower lip.
