Xavier’s POV
I am really sorry happy, Jessica was all smiles and grandfather too, I was still engrossed when I felt a soft hand hold mine and squeezed,
“Are you okay?”
She muttered to me smiling but her eyes is filled with worry, I kissed her forehead and nodded,
“Am fine just too happy, thank you love for your lovely gift of family you gave me”
She smiled and turned back to aunt who was narrating a story to them. I hope we will stay like this forever.

Five years later, I was preparing for work when Jessica came in wearing the most sexiest dress I have ever seen,
“How do i look ?”
“You look absolutely stunning, are you dressing for me?”
“Don’t tell me you forgot about it?”
“About what?”
“Today is parent’s day with the kids at their school, were are you going then?”
“Oh, I thought it was next week”
“No you dummy, it’s today ”
“I didn’t know about it, I will join next time sweetheart since you are going, please?”
“Ahhha, Michelle is gonna be so mad at you, you won’t even bribe her this time around ”
“I thought it was next week and adjusted my schedule, what am I gonna do now?”
“Babe, this isn’t what we agreed on, you are missing out on this kids school activities by a lot and it isn’t good”
“If wasn’t intentional ”
“If you don’t come to this one, I am going to make sure you don’t sleep in our room for a very very long time ”
“Come on now babe”
“What exactly are you doing, Xavier McCartney?!”
Okay, she is really angry, anytime she called my full name if we are not being romantic then it’s her being angry and trust me the last thing you wanna do is to piss Jessica off to that extent, she left me alone that room,
“Fine am going but you aren’t wearing that, those men will ogle at you and I don’t want that”
“Like I care about that”
“Come on sweet, am sorry okay, I got it all wrong, am really sorry about that ”

“Please don’t give. me the silent treatment, you know how much it hurts me”
“Huhhmm, Xavier you are a good father, I won’t deny that but you need to be with the kids and support them emotionally too”
“Okay, am really sorry, I didn’t know how to do that because I didn’t learn, I promise I wouldn’t make my kids experience the same thing I did but it seems am doing so”
“No Xavier, you are doing a good job the kids love you and they understand but you need to be there in those simple moments because it matters more”
“Okay, am sorry, let me change my suit into something suited and you too, I will get jealous if you wear this out”
“Fine then I will change”

We changed our cloths but still she looks beautiful, what a lucky man I am, we bought gift for them, i definitely know that’s what they will ask first when they see me, those bundle of joy are something else.
When I got down the car, I was nearly knocked down back in my ass, thank God for my great stamina and reflex, I held myself,
“Daddy you came?”
“Of course I would come for my babies”
“But you wouldn’t come after promising and it’s only mum that shows up”
“No now Micheal and Michel don’t pressure your father, you know he has a lot to do at work,”
“Sorry dad, I didn’t mean to hurt you”
“I know that little guy okay, so don’t be so sad okay”
The other kids held his hand, Michael was the oldest but the weakest, he can only express himself verbally but can’t do anything when it comes to fights, the other two Michelle and Michel are both treating him like the little when when it’s actually the opposite but I love the way they look out for each other, makes me glad.
We started going to where the occasion is happening, it was really educational and a means of bonding between parents and kids.
We finished around three thirty and we decided to take the kids out for lunch at Thier favourite place, they enjoyed it honestly, I took them home and after they have freshened up and brush their teeth, kissed us goodbye after their night story and tucked them into bed.
Then I went into mine with Jessica,
“Thank you baby for making me go for it”
“Thank you dir agreeing this time to come”
“I will make sure to attend others to come”
“Good or prepare to sleep outside the room”
“I will never allow you get angry ever again, I love you ”
“Me too honey, I love you”
“Wanna roll in sheets with me babe?”.
