“Thank you all for your trust. Let’s keep working together and continue making big money!” Rose Sharp declared confidently, displaying her determination.
Next, they discussed the upcoming matters, such as stabilizing employee morale after the acquisition and how to resume production as soon as possible.
Flynn played with his phone the entire time, showing no interest in these discussions. After an hour, they came up with a plan and the meeting concluded.
After everyone left, Rose Sharp looked at Flynn with surprise. “It’s rare to see Mr. Clark so patient, staying in this boring meeting for over an hour.”
She knew that Flynn wasn’t interested in business, so it was quite unbelievable that he would stay until the end of the meeting.
“For a drink with Ms. Sharp, I’ve been waiting for three months. What’s another hour?” Flynn put away his phone and raised an eyebrow, smiling.
Rose Sharp was slightly taken aback and shook her head helplessly. “It seems like you’re quite determined.”
“But it’s not necessary. After everything settles down, I’ll give you all the profits.”
“Do you still need me when you have celebrities serving you drinks?”
Flynn became displeased and furrowed his brows. “Rose Sharp, are you playing games with me? We had an agreement!”
“You promised to pour me drinks and dance.”
“I’ve been waiting for three months!”
“And now you want to go back on your word? You have no conscience!”
This woman really made him speechless. He had done everything for her for three months, handling everything for her sake.
He thought it wouldn’t be a problem for her to serve him once.
Yet, she wanted to go back on her word!
“I don’t want money. I don’t want celebrities. I just want you to pour me drinks!”
“And dance for me!”
“If you’re unwilling, I’ll make you do it!” Flynn smirked and jokingly raised his hand.
Rose Sharp’s face darkened as she remembered the time Flynn spanked her.
“Can’t you act more like a Greater Sovereign? Always acting so impulsive!”
“If you were more serious, you would have even more girls liking you.” Rose Sharp couldn’t help but complain.
Flynn’s lips curled up into a satisfied smile. “Why do I need every girl to like me? A few is enough.”
Seeing Flynn’s carefree demeanor, Rose Sharp felt the urge to kick him under the table.
“I said I would fulfill my promise once everything settles, and it’s not that time yet. Just wait!” Rose Sharp shot Flynn a glance.
Flynn, irritated, replied, “Fine! I’ll wait!”
“Let’s see what excuses you come up with then!”
Rose Sharp smirked, her mood brightening. “Now, let’s talk business. I just got off the phone with Mr. Rainier. I estimated the profits from this business venture, and he flat out rejected it.”
“He only asked for a principal of 50 billion, and he’d let me give you all the profits.”
This revelation shocked Rose Sharp. By the numbers, Mr. Rainier could have made 100 billion from this business war.
Yet, he refused without hesitation.
No matter how wealthy he was in Achela, he shouldn’t have turned down an opportunity for 100 billion so easily.
He was willing to transfer it all to Flynn.
What kind of debt did Mr. Rainier owe Flynn that was worth 100 billion?
Flynn shook his head, showing no interest. “I don’t really need that much money.”
After a moment of thought, he continued, “How about this? I’ll trade that money for a favor from you.”
“What kind of favor?” Rose Sharp asked.
Flynn smiled mysteriously. “Just tell me if you agree or not.”
After thinking for a moment, Rose Sharp said, “As long as this favor doesn’t involve me, I agree.”
“You’re really boring!” Flynn sighed and shrugged helplessly. “Are you afraid that I’ll take advantage of you?”
“It’s really puzzling. With all the help I’ve given you, any other girl would have fallen for me by now. You won’t even let me touch your leg.”
Rose Sharp smiled. “If you can change your habit of being a pervert, then I can agree.”
Looking at Rose Sharp’s half-genuine smile, Flynn couldn’t help but feel amazed. “You truly are a cunning capitalist, using this kind of thing as bait.”
“Think of it however you want.” Rose Sharp blinked mischievously.
“Alright, enough nonsense. We’re busy here. You can do as you please, Mr. Clark.”
With that, she left the meeting room.
Her tall and graceful figure disappeared at the door, leaving behind a lingering fragrance.
“Why do I feel like there’s something else behind her words?” Flynn rubbed his chin, unable to understand what was going on with Rose Sharp today.
Something seemed different from before.
But he couldn’t be bothered to investigate further. “Never try to figure out what a woman is thinking,” he murmured.
Stretching lazily, Flynn finally felt relieved as his body relaxed a bit. He could finally focus on his own affairs.
While the Sharp’s Group was celebrating their victory, Lilia Hussain was feeling overwhelmed and desperate.
“Why did it turn out like this? Why…” Lilia Hussain sat in her luxurious office with a pale face, muttering to herself with empty eyes.
Her phone was ringing non-stop. Several entrepreneurs from the alliance were asking what they should do.
How would she know what to do?
She had no idea where Rose Sharp got that 50 billion dollars from.
No consortium would dare invest such a large sum of money all at once-50 billion dollars, equivalent to 300 billion Ostrad coins!
Who could be so bold?
Hmm? Could it be the top tycoon, Mr. Rainier?
Lilia Hussain clearly remembered that when she went to Cherry Blossom Inn that day, both Flynn and Rose Sharp were there too.
She even mocked them for being unrealistic by seeking investment from Mr. Rainier but getting kicked out instead.
Looking back now, it seemed more likely that they came out of Mr. Rainier’s room after securing his investment!
The more Lilia Hussain thought about it, the more she believed it could be true.
But 50 billion dollars was not a small amount. Why would Mr. Rainier help them?
Even Layla Woods failed to persuade him!
What kind of deal did Flynn and Rose Sharp make with Mr. Rainier?
The more Lilia Hussain thought about it, the more her head hurt.
She knew that understanding this wouldn’t change the outcome in any way.
But she couldn’t help but think about it because everything happening before her eyes was more bizarre than a dream. She couldn’t understand why she lost when victory seemed within reach.
Three months ago, Rose Sharp was bankrupt!
How could this woman turn the tables?
“It must be Flynn’s doing. But… how did he persuade Mr. Rainier?”
“He must have used a dozen Ancient Formulas to secure Mr. Rainier’s investment. It has to be that way!”
“Damn it! He ruined my plans! That bastard!” Lilia Hussain bit her lip in frustration, her fists clenching tightly.
Her beautiful eyes blazed with fury.
Her mind was consumed by Flynn’s annoying face, one she simply couldn’t shake off.
On the day when Rose Sharp went missing, Flynn dared to grab her thigh with that obnoxious hand of his!
She still hadn’t gotten her revenge, and yet here she was, feeling defeated.
That jerk had said more than once that he wanted her to wear lingerie and beg for him on her knees in bed. He even suggested that she wear bunny ears and a tail while doing so.
Was she really going to have to go that far just to secure a slim chance for the Hussain family?
She was a billionaire CEO, as regal as a princess, with skin as flawless and delicate as fresh cream.
She was the dream of countless eligible men.
To let a despicable man have his way with her, to unleash his desires upon her-this was more unbearable than death!
