Finally, he responded to Claudia Carter, but his tone was full of disdain and mockery.
“Claudia Carter, what do you want? Let me tell you, not a single word you say will I believe!” Lachlan Willis said coldly.
Upon hearing his telepathic reply, Claudia Carter was momentarily stunned, a flash of surprise crossing her eyes.
“Didn’t expect your soul cultivation to be this strong, huh? No wonder you were once my husband.”
Claudia Carter’s tone was laced with admiration and a hint of appreciation, her voice soft as she spoke.
“We have no relationship anymore!” Lachlan Willis said, his voice cold and firm.
Hearing her words, his heart filled with resistance and disgust. *Former husband? Heh, yes! I must have been blind to marry a woman like you.*
“I know I’m no longer pure, and that Isa Austin and his master have sullied me. I understand that I can never have you again!
But right now, I just want you to help me kill Isa Austin. Can you do that?

Claudia Carter’s voice became choked, filled with hatred and a pitiable sorrow.

And isn’t some of this your responsibility? Can you just compensate me this once?”
Claudia Carter’s words seemed like genuine emotion.
Deep inside, she really did despise Isa Austin.
Upon hearing this, Lachlan Willis’s gaze flickered as he thought deeply. *What is Claudia Carter really up to?*
What she said about hating Isa Austin and wanting him dead wasn’t entirely unbelievable.
But Lachlan Willis still didn’t trust Claudia Carter in the slightest.

“I know you resent me! I’ve done many foolish things in the past.
But after all, I am Nora’s biological mother. Do you really think I have no feelings for her?
Even if it’s for her sake, help me just this once. Let’s join forces in this foreign relic and kill Isa Austin.
If you really can’t stand me afterward, I swear I’ll never bother you again.”
Claudia Carter’s tone turned desperate as she pleaded.
Lachlan Willis sat there for a long time before finally responding with a few words:

If you still don’t trust me, I can swear a Soul Covenant with you.
If I betray you, you can destroy my soul at any time!
Is that enough for you?”

Claudia Carter asked, her tone a mix of sorrow and sincerity.

But now she was willing to form such a Soul Covenant with him?

“How do we form it?” Lachlan Willis asked coldly after pondering for a few seconds.
With that, Claudia Carter replied,
