CHAPTER 516: REINCARNATED

Eva bristled out of nervousness, under the gazes of the entire people in the room.
After Fayot had woken and expressed his heartfelt appreciation, he had fallen into a deep sleep the next second.
Freyya had created a large sleeping ball with Eva’s help and had coconned the werewolf into it, so that he would be safe from whatever that would try to end his living on earth.
Now, Eva tucked her two hands in between her thighs, more out of a gut instinct, than out of a chain reaction because of fraying nerves. She would think about the reasons later.
She noticed too that the base of her hand was itching her, ever since the bite she had experienced, the bite from an invisible thing. She would take a recheck through her body once she returns to the confines of her room.
She also needed to talk to Derek about Emma. Hopefully, he would let her into his room.
“Eva, how did you do that? How did you…” Melvina’s hand dropped down, worn out from the simple question already.
Her daughter had magic?
Her eyes found the door, and she sighed for the umpttenth time since they had left Fayot’s room.
“I don’t know, mother. It just happened. I am not aware of a lot of things I do. I just find myself doing them.” Eva answered meekly, aware of the scrutinizing gaze of Kane and his twin, Dobah right?
She wondered if they might have an idea of what was happening to her, why she was different from the other werewolves, why she and her brother were different, whilst their parents were plain.
“She is a reincarnation, just like the saviour of the world, whom we are yet to ascertain.” Dobah mentioned.
Kane nodded his head in agreement. “That would explain a lot, and why she sometimes acts and talks like someone who is older than five. We just have to find out who she reincarnated. That would take a while. And would need the input of our healer.”
Melvina nodded her head, rather in numbness, than agreeing to what the ancients were saying. However, she was glad that they were here. They had a better handle on things than her people did.
She wondered if Derek too was a reincarnated being. She soughed as she felt the weariness oozing from her mate. He needed to rest.
He had been up for too long. Amazing what Agrip’s pill had done. To think he had being on the brink of death some hours ago.
“Okay, then. Whichever it is, we are lucky then that she is with us, and that she had recognised what to do to save Fayot. So, what’s the next chain of events? Where do we go from here?” Blenda inquired, her hand drawing circles on her stomach.
“Well, for starters, we the ancients, except Yodah who will stay back at the pack and get a handle of things in case things go awry, will head to our mountains, to talk with the prince, and of course Nathan. If it goes well, we will be coming back, with the healer too, to the pack in time for the private birthday party, so that we can ascertain who the saviour really is. Sheila and Freya, you both can check out your old house for clues, and of course the Esther girl. Anthony, your name is Anthony right?” Kane stopped to point out the question to Anthony who nodded his head.
“Good, you will go with them. You have a little magic, and your wolf is strong, I presume. You keep them safe with Yodah. Also intimate Derek with the happenings of these past minutes, and the next step if he allows you into his cocoon. That’s okay?”
Anthony nodded. Beside him was Clem, Shane and Lent-The trio already knowing that they would be following the older werewolf wherever he was going, or whatever instruction he gave.
They couldn’t afford to be useless at this time. The fate of the pack and their families depended on this.
“Curtis, you will be okay with heading out alone, right? If you believe that you will need help, you can also go with Yodah. Don’t worry he can camouflage into anything. Ancients are good with that. You are expected to be back by tomorrow evening too.”
Curtis nodded at Kane’s statement, but he didn’t think he would need any help in convincing his father. To his father, he was still his precious son. Yodah would be more needed here.
“I think that is all then.” Kane concluded, rising from his seat. “Our results and discussions tomorrow will determine the next step we will take concerning Emma and the pack. Hopefully, Fayot will be awake from his deep sleep by then and he can talk about this miscreant known as Legardo.”
Dobah nodded his head in agreement solemnly, before gesturing to Aiden and Julius who had his arm around a pouting Ava, to stand with them. It was time to go.

“My children’s lives depend on the success of this…” Leonarya kept muttering as she completed the final workings on Casper’s spirit.
She smiled as the ghostlike apparition arose from the earth and walked toward her.
It was successful. She mentally screamed. It had been an arduous task working without a body, except for an old scarf.
This would do. Not as strong as the body magic, but it will do. It would at least keep Legardo from hurting her children.
Her children? How had he managed to keep them from her?
She was one of the strongest mages to have lived, yet how could she have been in the dark?
Of course she had been pregnant on two occasions, she had known she had been pregnant, but she had lost the babies after those coincidental accidents. Or so she had thought.
Clearly, it seemed like the doctors had lied. The doctors hired by Legardo had told her that she had miscarried at the last moment.
Obviously she had been lied to! She hit the desk in anger as she thought of this.
“Any problem, master? Your wish is my command.”
She heard Casper’s ghost say, and smiled evilly.
Problems?
Oh, there are lots of them.
