Because the Jade Spirit Crystalfruit tree was covered by a giant black bell formed by the Crocodile King’s demonic power, the gray-white light shadow had to stop outside the bell.
Seeing the sudden appearance of the gray-white light shadow, Leo, the Webb Siblings, and others trapped inside turned grim.
Even the rampaging Crocodile King looked over.
Inside the gray-white light shadow was a skeleton about the size of a baby.
The skeleton quickly grew larger, becoming a three-meter-tall skeleton within moments.
The skeleton’s hollow eyes glowed dark green, its entire body exuding a powerful corrosive and eerie evil aura.
Leo quickly realized what this skeleton was-a puppet!
Such puppets were typically crafted by Dark Cultists using the bones of slain spiritual cultivation experts.
Although these puppets weren’t very powerful in combat, they could play a crucial role at certain times, like now.
“Break the black bell!” Skull Walker commanded the puppet.
Beside the black bell, the tall skeleton’s dark green eyes flickered as a strongly corrosive gray-white aura surged on its bony right hand.

A sizzling sound continuously echoed as the gray-white aura began to corrode the surface of the black bell violently. Black energy immediately dissipated from its surface.
Seeing the skeleton damaging the black bell, the Crocodile King roared repeatedly, “Damn human Cultivator! Damn human Cultivator!!”
The Crocodile King was already struggling to trap Leo and the others and had no extra strength to stop the skeleton. It could only watch helplessly as the skeleton destroyed its defense.
The black bell covering the Jade Spirit Crystalfruit tree emitted black gas and was about to be corroded into a large hole.
Trapped inside, Leo and the others were anxious, attacking the inner walls of their black light membrane spheres with all their might.
The nine black light membrane spheres trembled violently, rippling outward in waves.
The Crocodile King was now in a difficult position, glaring at the skeleton while frantically channeling demonic power to crush Leo and the others.

Soon, a large hole was corroded into the surface of the black bell protecting the Jade Spirit Crystalfruit tree. The skeleton’s right hand reached inside.
Moments later, its bony right hand extended further inside and plucked off the fully matured Jade Spirit Crystalfruit at the top.
This scene infuriated those trapped inside to no end.
“That sinister old bastard!” Wyatt cursed angrily while fiercely pounding on the inner wall of his light membrane sphere.
The others also intensified their attacks. The black light membrane spheres shook and expanded continuously, showing signs of breaking apart.
Skull Walker was greedy. While attacking his own light membrane sphere’s inner wall, he issued orders: “Pick them all for me!”
Inside the black bell, the skeleton’s bony right hand shifted direction and continued plucking the remaining Jade Spirit Crystalfruits.
Without any suspense, all eight Jade Spirit Crystalfruits were picked by the skeleton.
All the Spirit Fruits had been procured, and Skull Walker could scarcely conceal the elation on his visage.
Beholding that all the Jade Spirit Crystalfruits had been plucked by Skull Walker’s skeletal minions, the entrapped individuals utterly lost their composure, unleashing the most potent forces dwelling within them.
“Break it!!” Leo bellowed ferociously, his entire form aglow with lightning as he amassed his mightiest power and delivered a full – force punch to the inner wall of the luminous membrane sphere.
The obsidian – hued light membrane sphere shattered with a resounding crack.
After extricating himself from the confinement, Leo did not hesitate for an instant. Transforming into a streak of radiance, he hurtled towards the skeletons on the isle.
The moment Leo shattered the black light membrane sphere, the sounds of shattering reverberated ceaselessly as The Webb Siblings, The Malevolent Twins, Sky Blade, Skull Walker, and Seraphina also broke free in succession.
Mid – air, the Crocodile King endured a powerful backlash. His colossal form quivered in the void as blood gushed from his maw, and the ancestral apparition instantly disintegrated.
Immediately thereafter, the liberated individuals were suffused with spiritual energy, transforming into streaks of light as they all hurtled towards the skeletons on the island.
Naturally, Leo was the first to reach the skeleton. His Dragon Sword cleaved down directly upon the skeletal form.
“Young whelp, how dare you!” Upon seeing Leo assail his skeletal puppet, Skull Walker thundered with a dark countenance.
Simultaneously, he employed his spiritual sense to command the skeletal puppet to evade.
Yet, it was still a tad too late. Leo’s attack speed was astonishingly swift, and he directly severed the skeleton’s right hand that clutched the Jade Spirit Crystalfruits.
Although the skeleton’s right arm was severed and fell to the ground, the eight Jade Spirit Crystalfruits it held remained firmly grasped.
Under Skull Walker’s spiritual control, the skeletal puppet swiftly stooped, its other hand reaching to retrieve its severed right arm.
Leo’s figure flashed, and he was already before the skeleton.
Leo launched a kick mid-air, directly striking the skeleton’s fleshless chest.
The three-meter-tall colossal skeleton was sent soaring by Leo’s kick.
Then, Leo extended his left hand, utilizing an object-controlling art, and the Jade Spirit Crystalfruits in the skeleton’s severed hand flew one by one into Leo’s grasp.
Afterwards, Leo directly stowed the eight Jade Spirit Crystalfruits into his Storage Sack.
This sight rendered Skull Walker’s expression extremely hideous.
