Dimitri’s POV

After letting Storm take lead. We found the correct way too where all the cops were still hanging out.
” Dimitri, I just got an update on Amara. Mary had too put her too sleep with a drug too keep her from leaving. She is now locked inside your room with little Sadie.” Liam says into the ear piece.
” She didn’t leave Sadie in there by herself with Amara sleeping did she?” I question him.
” No, she is in the room. Since Sadie is still awake.” Liam informs me.
That is a cocky move on Mary part. Now that she did that too Amara. Amara is going to be less likely to trust her.
” Tell Mary good job. We should be home in a few hours.” I tell him.
” I will let her know.” Liam tells in the happy tone.
I’m not sure where Liam and Mary relationship is, but they have been getting very close the last few weeks. I am sure he is very proud of her at this moment. Hell, I am proud even of her for stepping up while we are gone.
Last thing I need to do is go looking for Amara, because she decided to get all dramatic and leave. While I am not home to stop her.
So, I think Mary deserves a little treat for stopping Amara from leaving. I will have a talk with Liam about it after this is over.
Peeking around the corner I can see a few cops chatting near the doorway that leads into the office area.
Taking the safety off my gun I take a step forward. ” Dimitri, we have an issue. It would seem swat has been called.” Liam says through the ear piece.
Damnit!
The police chief must have called it in, before coming to check on those bodies in the hallway.
” Storm, take Matthew, Nick, and Ryan with you, and lock all doors leading outside. Do it quickly and don’t get caught.” I whisper to him.
” What are we suppose to use to lock all the doors?” Mathew whispers to me.
” I don’t fucking know. Figure the shit out!” I snap at him. ” Now, move your ass! We have uninvited guess outside.” I whisper yell at them.
” We will take care of it.” Storm whispers to me before walking away.
I hear Lucia snicker behind, ” what’s funny?” I question him in a whisper.
” That kid really wants you to like him.” Lucia whispers back.
” Yeah, I have noticed.” I whispers back, as I shoot the two cops standing in the doorway.
The gunshots echo throughout the hallway.
” Damnit! I told you that swat is outside! Yet you shoot anyway!” Liam yells into my ear.
” I sent Storm and his friends to take care of all the entrances.” I tell Liam.
” Doesn’t help! If you shot before they can block all entrances, because now you have has swat charging in!” Liam informs me.
” Than I suggest you get off your ass and lock them inside with us!” I snap at him.
” Son of a bitch!” I hear Liam snap, before the line goes dead.
I can see all the cops inside have now ducked down behind all the desk with guns drawn pointed at our direction.
” Cover me.” I tell Lucia.
Once he starts shooting I run into the room. I shoot every cop I can see, before ducking down behind a desk that had a cop choking on his own blood.
He had both his hand on his throat. He looks at me with hate filled eyes. I smirk at him, ” Should have played the game! Maybe you all could have lived a little longer!” I yell out to all of them.
” No, one wants to play your fucked up twisted games!” I hear a cop yell out from somewhere behind me.
” Give up Dimitri! You aren’t going to win! You are out numbered!” I hear another cop yell out.
I can’t help but to laugh out loud, ” I don’t know about that! I am enjoying myself.” I tell them, as I take the police badge off the officer laying next to me.
I slightly hold it out, and use the reflection to see where all the cops behind me are located. I can see six on my right side.
” I wouldn’t try shooting. You have twelve cops on you left side.” I hear Ray say into the earpiece. ” There is a back way into that room. I got that information from our little cop friend. I already sent Lucia the directions on his phone.” He adds.
” Is he at least still alive?” I question him.
Ray way of getting information is to beat someone until they are unconscious. Some have even die from his beatings.
” Yeah, he is breathing. I made sure not to give him any life threatening injuries. Beside he is going to need an explanation on why he isn’t dead like everyone else.” Ray tells me.
I guess that is one way to give that cop an alibi.
” Make sure you put his unconscious body in a spot where he will be found, and put a note in is pocket where he can find it.” I tell Ray.
That cop can tell his fellow officers that the reason he was not killed, was because I wanted him to know how powerless he was in stopping me.
It is fucked up and twisted that no one will deny it.
Getting into a squating position I count too three, before jumping over the desk.
I can hear gunshots whistling passed my head. I shoot three cops infront of me, as I jump over the desk where the remaining three cops are hiding. I punch one officer in the throat, and pull a second one towards me, as shots are fired at me once again.
All I can hear are thuds, as each bullet pierces into the police officers body.
” Stop shooting!” I hear the cop I am holding onto cries out to his comrades.
” Shut up!” I say, as I take my gun and shoot him in the back of the head.
His blood splatters all over my face, as more bullets thud into his lifeless body.
This probably wasn’t a good idea, but I wasn’t about to wait for Lucia. We need to get these cops taken out, before we are out numbered by swat.
Hearing more gun shots ring out. I know that Lucia and the rest of the men have finally arrived.
After a few seconds it goes quiet.
I let out a sigh and toss the lifeless body off of me.
” Could you have waited for us to get into position first?!” Lucia yells at me.
” You were taking too long.” I say flicking some brain matter off my right shoulder.
” You could have been shot!” Lucia snaps at me.
I roll my eyes, ” I am fine.” Holding up my gun I start shooting all the inmates we set loose.
” We helped you!” A man says dropping his gun and holding his hands up.
” Yes, and I don’t trust any of you.” I says, before shooting him in the head.
” You didn’t leave me any to shoot.” Lucia pouts at me.
” Yeah, well you didn’t leave me any cops to kill.” I tell Lucia, as I start looking at all the dead police officers faces.
” Although, there are two cops we have missed.” I tell Lucia with a smirk.
Seems like the two dirty cops I hired are still alive. I don’t see them in this room. So, they must be hiding somewhere in this building.
Hearing footsteps I see Storm and his friends running into the room.
” We blocked all exits, but I don’t think it will hold for long.” Storm says, as he pants heavily.
” Ray, is Liam back yet?” I question him.
” Yes, I am back.” Liam says into the ear piece. ” A few swat team members are inside with you. Yes, I made sure to lock them in. So, they can’t get out. ” He infronted me.
” Is there a window for us to climb out of?” I question him.
” Yes, from the angle of the security camera I can see a window in the chief office. You can use that too climb out of. ” Liam tells me.
” Let’s go.” I tell everyone and walk into the office.
I open the window and watch everyone, but Lucia climb out.
” Ready to blow this place up?” Lucia says with a grin.
” You know it.” I say placing a black bag onto the desk.
When we attacked here. We knew things could go sideways. So, are next option was too blow this place up.
Unzipping the bag I watch Lucia set up the explosive. I watch him set the timer for six minutes, before climbing out the window with Lucia behind me.
Hearing a vehicle fast approaching I look up too see it is Liam. He parks long enough for me and Lucia too get before speeding away.
We get half down the road, before a loud explosion shakes the vehicle. Looking out of the window. I smile seeing a huge flame lighting up the night sky.
” Drive faster, we need to get back to the boat.” I tell Liam.
I need to deal with Amara. She has to understand that she isn’t leaving. I won’t allow her too leave.
