Chapter 1055: The Summon of Orderwarden

The Ancient Willis family still had a lot of records and information regarding the cultivation of *Dragon Transformation Divine Decision* and the “Candle Dragon.”
Initially, it would have been safer for Nora to stay in the Ancient Willis family to cultivate the Dragon Transformation Divine Decision.
As a result, Lachlan Willis stayed with Nora in the Ancient Willis family for over a month, at least ensuring that there would be no immediate danger during the early stages of Nora’s cultivation.
One day, at the mansion where they were staying,
Violet Willis, his aunt, came to visit again. Lachlan Willis prepared a few small dishes himself and enjoyed lunch with Nora and Violet.
“Mmm… Dad’s cooking is the best!”
Nora looked at Lachlan Willis, her small face glowing with an innocent and affectionate smile.
This past month had been the happiest time for Nora in over six months.
Her father had been by her side every day, and the little one couldn’t have been more content.
“Eat more if it’s delicious!” Lachlan Willis smiled lovingly.
“Mm-hmm!” Nora nodded eagerly.
At this point, Violet Willis, who had been sitting at the table, seemed like she wanted to say something but was hesitant.
After the meal, Nora quietly took a nap. Lachlan Willis pulled Violet Willis aside and asked, “Violet, is there something on your mind?”
He had noticed Violet’s hesitation earlier.
Violet Willis nodded and said, “Brother, my guide contacted me, and she asked me to inform you that we need to go to the Order Keepers Organization’s base in the Desolate Borderlands.”
“Oh? The Order Keepers Organization wants to see me? My guide hasn’t contacted me, though,” Lachlan Willis frowned and asked.
Was the happy, peaceful time really going by so quickly?
To be honest, Lachlan Willis had wanted to spend more time with his daughter.
After Nora underwent the Cursebearer ceremony and even became a “little dragon,” she no longer faced the same deadly threats of the past seven years.
It felt like the heavy burden that had weighed on Lachlan Willis’ heart was finally lifted.
This sense of relief had made him somewhat lax lately.
Even his desire for strength didn’t feel as urgent anymore.
He just wanted to stay by his daughter’s side and enjoy family life.
So when he heard the Order Keepers Organization’s summons, a sense of reluctance stirred within him.
“Your guide is likely busy with other tasks and couldn’t contact you personally,” Violet Willis shrugged and said.
“Do you know what this is about?”
Lachlan Willis asked.
“I’m not sure of the details, but it seems like all the top Ten Seed of the Star Path will be going. It must be something related to us.
Maybe they’re offering us more resources and benefits,” Violet Willis winked at Lachlan Willis.
Most of the Seed of the Star Path had now broken through to the Fragmentation Void realm.
The next step was likely to reach the Great Vehicle realm, so it wasn’t surprising that the Order Keepers Organization wanted to continue investing resources in them.
Upon hearing this, Lachlan Willis nodded, feeling a mix of anticipation.
Though he was reluctant to part from Nora, he knew he couldn’t remain complacent forever.
After all, Miranda Lowe was still out there, and there was a long journey ahead!
If Miranda Lowe really was a Reincarnated Demon, he needed enough strength to change things, to bring her back into his life!
“I understand! When do we leave?”
Lachlan Willis nodded.
“We need to head out within a week. Shall we leave this afternoon?”
Violet Willis asked.
Lachlan Willis thought for a moment, then replied, “A week is enough time. But since I’m leaving suddenly and you’re not here either, Nora isn’t close to anyone else in the Ancient Willis family. I’m worried she might feel upset.
How about we leave this afternoon, take Nora back to Edoland, and then head to the Desolate Borderlands?”
Nora’s cultivation of the Dragon Transformation Divine Decision was already on track, so leaving the Ancient Willis family shouldn’t be a problem.
The key issue was that Nora had no one else to confide in at the Ancient Willis family, aside from Violet and himself.
Meanwhile, Edoland had her grandparents, uncles, and the familiar faces of Fiona Morrison and Noah Davis, so it would be better to send her there.
“Mm, that works! No rush.”
Violet Willis nodded, then teased, “Brother, you’re such a daughter’s slave! You always put Nora first in everything.”
Lachlan Willis smiled and replied, “When you get married and have children, you’ll understand my position!”
Upon hearing this, Violet Willis blushed slightly and said, “That’s still far off! I’m still young.”
“Hahaha, not too young! It’s time to find a partner. As your older brother, I’ll have to keep an eye on that for you,” Lachlan Willis teased.
Violet Willis pouted and gave him an annoyed look.
In the afternoon, the two of them left the Ancient Willis family and headed for Edoland.
Four days later, they arrived at the Desolate Borderlands!
There, they found the Order Keepers Organization’s base.
What had once been a scorching desert with harsh conditions was now enveloped in a layer of white mist.
At a glance, they could see a massive crack stretching across hundreds of miles.
It seemed like this spiritual energy rift appeared in every corner of the world.
Under the thick spiritual aura, the barren desert seemed to have gained a hint of greenery.
When Lachlan Willis and Violet Willis entered the desert, they were greeted by Violet’s guide, a mid-Great Vehicle powerhouse named “Lucas Lloyd,” who was already waiting for them.
“Lucas Lloyd!”
Violet Willis greeted him respectfully.
The relationship between the Seed of the Star Path and their guides was typically one of distant seniority, more formal than personal.
The guides’ attitudes towards the Seed of the Star Path were more like NPCs, unlike Lachlan Willis’ guide, Mona Woodward, who was always joking with him.
