[SPAIN]
The human farm was no joke, just as Rosa had explained. It was heavily guarded at every branch.
But Stacy knew how brothels worked. She was a girl born into a strange world but was saved by Tatiana when things got messy.
Parker, on the other hand, was almost killed by some gangs Tatiana was after-hard drug dealers who raped an artist Tatiana saved. Bringing down the gang saved Parker in the process.
That was why Stacy and Parker would do anything for Tatiana. Their talents were discovered by Tatiana, and they would use them to help her no matter what.
Stacy was just like Tatiana, a daughter of a famous politician, but she hated her family because of the illegal things they did.
Luckily, Stacy’s family came from Spain and was well-known there. The Fernandez family was part of the human trafficking ring.
And Tatiana was going to use that…
She disguised herself as a daughter of the Fernandez family, using Stacy’s older sister’s name, Salome Fernandez.
Stacy described her sister’s appearance, and Tatiana dressed exactly like her. Salome was tall and beautiful, with the same body frame as Tatiana.
Luckily for them, Salome frequently visited the human farm branch where Rosa came from, just to check on the women.
Parker gathered every piece of information about her.
It took seven days to study Salome’s attitude and behavior. Salome was feared in the brothel.
Tatiana dyed her hair red, dressed like Salome, and now stood before the brothel-a large building where one could easily get lost.
The place was like a corporation, very restricted.
She used the men Cassius had given her and some of Parker’s interestingly built gang members as her bodyguards.
She stepped into her role, behaving exactly as Salome would-like a bitch!
Tatiana punched the guard in the face when he asked for her identity card. His curiosity faded quickly, and he bowed, apologizing for his mistake.
“Lo siento (I’m sorry),” the guard spoke fearfully, his body trembling.
It was good that Salome was feared here, but that didn’t mean Tatiana could let her guard down.
The brothel was huge and full of strict policies. It took every bit of Tatiana’s self-control not to stare in disbelief at the place.
It was unbelievable that such a disgusting place could exist!
Thanks to Rosa’s excellent memory, she had explained every detail of the brothel to Tatiana. All Tatiana hoped for was that the girl Rosa had talked about was still here.
She wanted to meet her badly.
Tatiana picked up the glass of water on the table and poured it on the female receptionist’s face. Rosa had seen Salome do this several times as a way to greet the receptionist.
Tatiana couldn’t help but feel disgusted by that bitch Salome. But what could she do? She had to act like her to get in.
“This way, my Queen,” the receptionist shuddered as if a chill had hit her skin. She was wearing a slutty dress, undoubtedly one of the victims of Tatiana’s father.
Tatiana felt bad but didn’t show it. With her face covered, no one recognized her. Her eyes took note of everything around the place.
She felt bad about not telling Cassius about all this but promised herself she would once this was over.
Tatiana knew a few things about the mafia world. One was that one mistake could cost you your life.
The receptionist led her to where the women were kept. The teens and adults were kept separately. The pregnant women were also kept separately.
Those who had given birth were said to have been transferred to another branch for “proper care,” which only took a week.
‘Proper care, my ass,’ Tatiana thought when the receptionist mentioned that some were transferred for care in the morning.
Tatiana’s blood boiled with each glance at the women here. Most of them were young, and they suffered the most since men tended to choose them.
Many had swollen faces, likely from trying to resist whenever the men tried to have their way with them.
She also noticed how they shifted in fear when they spotted her. They bowed their heads, some sobbing.
The receptionist gave her a look, seemingly wondering why Tatiana was so quiet. When Tatiana noticed this, she yelled at the women.
“Why do you all sob like that? Be quiet!” When she did, most of them bit down on their lips.
Fuck! Salome is definitely a bitch.
After the routine, Tatiana’s heart was close to breaking. Her breath was ragged, and she was so angry her fists were whitening.
She hadn’t seen the girl Rosa mentioned. She was sure she would recognize her once she saw her, but none of the women were familiar.
Rosa better not be fucking with her.
The receptionist hesitated, seeing her anger.
“She just gave birth,” the receptionist blurted, her head bowed.
“What?” Tatiana’s brow furrowed.
“The last time you came, she was heavily pregnant. She gave birth three days ago and hasn’t been transferred yet since you warned us never to do anything to her without your consent.”
Tatiana thought for a moment. Was there another one? She just gave birth. The way the receptionist spoke made it sound like Salome hated that particular woman very much.
Tatiana decided to act the way Salome would.
“Show me that bitch!” she thundered.
The receptionist shrank in fear. “Yes, my Queen.”
As they walked through the hall, Tatiana’s heart raced with anticipation. Why did she feel…
Nervous?
This better be the girl Rosa was talking about. Besides, she needed to get out of here soon to avoid getting caught. That would be hell.
“She’s here,” the receptionist said, opening a door. Tatiana slowly stepped inside.
It was a small room, seemingly closing in on her. Her eyes spotted a fragile figure sitting on the floor, resting her back on the other side of the bed.
She was clinging onto something. Her baby, because Tatiana could hear the soft cries.
As Tatiana approached slowly, she heard the girl singing.
“Twinkle, twinkle, little star…”
Why? Why did the voice sound familiar? She took another step closer.
“How I wonder what you are…”
Tatiana paused and just stared at the figure’s back, resting on the bed a few feet away from her.
“Up above the world so high…”
“Like a diamond in the sky…”
The figure stopped singing as if sensing her presence. Tatiana watched as the girl clung to her baby.
“Who are you?” the girl asked in a raspy voice, still not looking at her.
“Turn around,” Tatiana demanded, her voice calm but disturbed.
The girl twitched as if something struck her.
Ever so slowly, she turned her head, and Tatiana’s world came crashing down.
Tatiana’s eyes widened, lips parted, breath ragged, head spinning, and her heart skipped a beat. Her mind reeled in shock.
The air around her tensed, so tense it forced her to step backward.
Tatiana’s gaze locked with those brown eyes. Tears escaped her eyes as she remained frozen. Guilt, shock, disbelief, anger and so many emotions struck her at once.
The girl’s name dropped from Tatiana’s trembling lips.
“Isabella.”
