“Okay they are batshit crazy, it’s not that serious ”
“It’s in a video form”
“Nope, I made sure the live cam was off and no one was videoing with their personal phone”
“Well your crew mistakenly ordered intentionally switched it back on and the whole viewers watched it, it broke our viewers record by 50% ”
“Wow, that’s great, sorry, I mean not great”
“How are you?”
“Honestly am fine, she got it worse”
“Yes I saw that but…..”
“No no no, no buts, it’s between us women, I don’t want you involved in it okay”
“Okay”
“Promise me?”
“I promise, let me help you with the ice pack”
I have it to him and he started helping me ease the swelling and numb it a bit, he was very gentle and caring, I feel loved.
XAVIER’S POV
I went to work after dropping Jess off at her workplace, I have a lot of meetings to attend and files to put in order and sign, I was so busy.
“Sir, it’s time for the meeting with the investors ”
“Okay, I will be right there”
I wore my suit jacket and straightened my tie and went to the meeting room to meet them.
An hour later I was done with them and went back to my office to continue my slavery.
“Sir, the company we signed deal with are here already, they want to discuss the deal and know what your opinion ”
“Okay, then tell them that am almost there in a while ”
“Okay sir”
I packed up and left for the meeting, after exchanging pleasantries we sat down and they brought out their scheme and the blue print they made, it looks impressive and good just need a little tweaking here and there and it’s perfect and that’s what we need in the next hour and 30 minutes.
“Gentlemen, I think we are done for today, thank you for your hardwork”
“Thank you sir”
“Okay then, see you at the site soon ”
They left and once again I went back to filing and signing,
“Sir! Sir!! You need to see this ”
“What is it? Why the rush?”
I looked at the thing he was showing me to know why he had his pant in a two…. What the , what is this?! I stood up pushing my chair with the back of my knee.
“Find information on that actress, am coming ”
“Sir, wait, you have a lot of work to….. do, and he is gone like a puff”
I rushed to Jessica’s work place, she was holding an ice pack on her left cheek, after talking with her and helping her out to gently massage the area, I went back to my work prison,
“You are back now Xavier ”
My secretary said to me almost startling me, he looked angry but I pretended not to notice it at all,
“Yes, she is fine”
“I have the thing you asked for ”
“Okay thank you”
I opened the files, it shows the actress Hera that slapped my wife, am not surprised she was recently in a scandal with Marcus after all he only mostly dates shitty people like him so no surprise there, she is to appear in a movie as a female lead after sleeping with an investor, that’s good, I called the director immediately because I know him,
“Hello Jk”
“Hello, who is this?”
“It’s Xavier McCartney speaking ”
“Oh, Xavier, What’s up,?”
“Heard you are having trouble with an actress because of the investor?”
“Yes mann, it’s giving me headache , lots of it ”
“Well, I can invest for you but in return you make the actress a supporting role”
“Are you serious Xavier?”
“Yes, make the second female lead actress Henrietta the main lead and Hera a supporting role, finding someone worthy for the second lead role”
“Thank you Xavier, I promise it won’t flop”
“I know, your movies are all good and my wife loves then”
“Okay, thank you ”
“Okay, one more thing”
“What is it?”
“My name should be anonymous, on no account should my name be mentioned in the same sentence as the movie”
“Okay I understand ”
“Good, bye them am Hell’s busy now”

I ended the call and closed the files tossing them into the bin, I started working on my project again.
Marcus POV
“Hello baby, you need to help me”
The actress I was currently in a benefit relationship told me, I heard she had the nerve to slap Xavier’s wife, i may hate the lady but she is quite professional and that’s a limit for me.
“What is it?”
“I thought you invested most in the movie production of “into the horizon” ?”
“Yes I am”
“Another investor passed your investment by far and the director throw me all the way down to supporting role”
“So?”
“Help me out”
“Listen here carefully, we had a deal, I do it once am not doing it again, you get me? And one more thing, don’t ever call me again, you are… Useless ”
“No please baby, just one more time please”
Haa, am developing a headache for her loud cries in my eardrums,
“Okay but you have to give up that movie ”
“How could I do that, I like it”
“Then you shouldn’t have messed it up them, I don’t have time for this”

“This is the last favour and doing for you, I will buy you another movie by same director”
