I heard her gasp and her face turned red, she left hurriedly, she definitely felt embarrassed, I laughed at her, she is adorable now as for Marcus, I just don’t want to pursue this so that I can add it to the pile of cases I have against him, starting it with defamation is too small I want to start with something juicy and big so that it will pile up in such a way he wouldn’t know which to defend.
And when daddy comes to rescue he will fall into the perfect well laid plan I made exclusively just for them, I laughed, I went inside to prepare for my date.
The place I took her to was a five star restaurant well known for organising the best romantic dinner for couples, I have already booked everything, gave tip to a paparazzi anonymously.
Jessica came down from the car looking all beautiful as usual, she wore a red dinner gown that hugged her body and fall in A shape from her ankle to the floor, it made her look like a mermaid who came to claim a man’s soul which happens to be mine fortunately.
I opened the door for her and she went inside me naturally falling beside her, she held my hand and we walked inside, the server assigned to us, lead us to our table and we sat down,
“This place looks really beautiful and peaceful ”
“Well I rented the place for us”
“Ehuh, showing off your money aren’t you?”
She grinned at me and mann she looks absolutely ravishing, I tore my eyes away from her lips and cleared my throat,
“Well, I got and besides I need to impress my WIFE”
“Wow, I feel like a high school girl having a date with her crush for the first time”

We laughed at our words and the server served a white wine to us, he poured it professionally but I can see him stealing glances at Jessica with red tinting his cheeks,
“Hope you enjoy the wine, your food will be served soon ”
“If course we will, now excuse us”
(Fucking idiot )I said in my mind, as if hearing my thoughts she laughed,
“What is amusing you?”
“Your face looks hilarious, the way you were looking at the poor guy, do you know him from somewhere, did he do something to you, scratch your car perhaps?”
“He didn’t do any of the above, he is just dillydallying ”
“I never knew you were this harsh, am surprised ”
“Well, glad something is working, so how do you like the wine?”
“It’s good, I don’t know much about wines but I like how smooth it is and how sweet it tastes”
“Am glad, it goes well with steak, I prefer mine rare, you?”
“Cooked, I won’t be able to stomach raw meat or meat that is half cooked, it must be cooked”
“Okay, looks like our food is here, don’t worry it’s cooked”
“Haahhahahah, I know Mr Show off”
We had a peaceful dinner and we made small jokes here and there, we even flirt with each other a bit, we finished our food and we were served dessert,
“Wow”
“What is it?”
“I just had a food orgasm now”
“Is it that delightful?”
“Yes, so creamy and smooth, melts in your tongue, it’s tastes sooo goooodd”
“Its called ice cream cake, I think it’s vanilla flavour with cream”
“It tastes so good”
“Am glad you like it, try it with the wine”
“Owwwhhh, they are a mat h made in heaven, I think they are a couple, I feel bad taking them like that”
“What? Are you being serious, a couple? Hahahaha, you are very funny I must say ”
“Well thanks to someone, I feel more confident ”
“Is that a confession I hear”
“Yes it is but not a love confession”

“Don’t be, am just….. Happy right now, I experience a lot of things because of you and forget the fact you are annoying ”
“Am not annoying ”
“Yes right there is you being annoying ”
“Sorry ma’am ”
“Am grateful for everything”
“Okay, well am surprised by your words but I brought you here to cheer up and for us to have some alone times not for you to be grateful to me, but I accept just so you know, you did more for me than I did for you”
We looked at each other and smiled, we ate the remaining food and I took her out on a night drive, I watched her as she brought her hand out if the window, feeling the wind caressing her hand as having a handshake, I smiled contentedly.
I took her to the beach and we sat at the car booth watching the waves hitting the shores as if teasing us to dip out legs in and feel the refreshing sea water on our feet, it’s quite a tempting thought but I will pass, for now I like how we are together, sitting down and sipping out drinks slowly and enjoying the atmosphere.
“Haaahh, I feel happy and content”
“Me too, I wish time will stop for a moment or forever like this”
“That’s creepy, I like it but I still want to go out and enjoy other scenery while keeping this one close to my heart”
“You are such a romantic and you teased me about showing off my money”

“You are right though, I wish this moment will last forever, but it makes me scared though ”

“It’s as if, every time am too happy, something bad will happen, like this nagging feeling inside you that stopes you from feeling happy too much ”

“That’s why am trying not to be too happy at times”
“Don’t worry, be happy, I will prevent anything bad getting to you as much as I can”
We stared at each other, we don’t know who dipped first but within seconds we were kissing…..
