I watched them drag their lazy bones to work, I know that Jessica would be fuming at the blatant prank I pulled at her, she must have gone out to get a dress since I received a debit, and she must have bought something that expensive to spite me and make me angry but (girl eat my money all you want, I won’t be broke hahahaha).
“You look like a creep smiling like that”
Mike said to me, I wonder when he came in and what he was doing here, I looked at him like he is a bug and he looked back at me with a what-are-you-looking-at eyes, it was funny but I cleared my throat instead,
“So tell me what are you doing in my office?”
“Well I was bored so I came besides we have a new findings”

“Yes , and what’s with that bored expression on your face right now?”
“What do you mean, am just excited to hear your findings”

“Jerk, well we were wrong about our previous deductions, they are actually four board mem….”

I brought out the lunch Jess made for me today, it was looking very delicious and tasty, I brought everything out and before I could get water I saw Mike poking my rolled eggs,
“Ahhhhh!!”
“Bruh, why are you screaming?”
“What do you think you are doing?”
“Am hungry mann, just let me have some, you won’t finish it by the way, so let’s share, when Laura cook, I will share with you too”
“Nope, keep Laura’s food all to yourself I don’t want any”
I felt goosebumps when I remembered the first time I ate Laura’s food, it was…. heart failing and total inedible, I thought I might be hospital due to the loss of my tongue, I shivered again in remembrance, I never want to relive that experience ever,
“Laura is going for cooking class now, she said she wants to learn how to cook for me”
“No problem you can continue being her guinea pig…. alone”

And that’s how I have to share Jess’s food with a foo… I mean friend.
It wasn’t long when I was done with work, I went to Laura’s company to pick her up,

“The dinner party is actually a birthday party , sorry I didn’t tell you on time”
“No problem, there is still time to get gifts for him, so no problem, are you coming?”

Laura came out with a scowl on her face and entered the car, she glared at me, I chuckled and asked,
“Okay, what did I do to offend her highness?”

“Sorry, it was a last minute request, sorry, we can go get your dress”

“I can do my makeup by myself, it’s more comfortable that way”

We drove to a 24 hr mall making small talks here and there, we arrived and got off after I parked at the parking lot, we went into the mall to find a nice gift, I got him a men’s care set, it has the latest perfume, tie, belt, pure gold wristwatch and cufflinks, while Jessica got him a painting.
After everything was wrapped up, we left and went back home to prepare for the party, we still have 5 hrs to go.
I decided to use the other room to prepare because waiting for Jessica to prepare before me is me wasting time, women take a lot of time to prepare, and they need space to deliver that gorgeous surprise of their appearance, I was soon done and went to grandfather’s room to ask him about his health, the butler was there when I came in, he was helping grandfather lay well to sleep.
