Rhea was watching a movie when her phone buzzed. She sat up, seeing the caller ID, and answered quickly.
“Did you get it?”
“Yeah, he had some childhood mental disorder. He grew up in Chicago with his grandmother, I think… He visited a psychiatric hospital during that time and was eventually discharged…” her friend Thane, a crazy hacker, said over the phone.
“What?”
“Yeah, and a nurse once wrote a statement that violence or losing something he loves could trigger his brutal side. That’s all I could find. Who is this guy? If you know him, stay away… cases like this rarely heal.”
Rhea’s face paled. She finally recalled where she had seen Jamie… in Chicago.
Recalling how Morticia had mentioned Jamie acting strange when she broke up with him, Rhea felt a wave of dread.
“Oh no…”
She quickly called Valerie, asking if Morticia was there.
“No, she’s not here. Is everything okay?” Valerie asked.
Rhea didn’t respond and hung up, leaving Valerie frowning. Valerie thought for a moment, grabbed her jacket, and headed out.

Klaus was asleep when he received a call from Rhea.
“Hey, what’s up?” he asked, sitting up. His eyes widened when he heard the urgency in Rhea’s voice asking about Morticia.
“No, she’s back home. What’s wrong?”
“It’s Jamie. He’s not sane, and he’s going after her. Morty mentioned how he acted strange when she broke up with him…”
That was all Klaus needed to hear. He hung up and immediately called Morticia.
‘The number you dialed is switched off,’ the automated voice echoed.
“Fuck,” Klaus cursed and called Ava instead, relieved when she answered quickly. “Is Bunnie home?” he asked.
“No, I thought she decided to spend the night at your place,” Ava replied.
Hearing this, Klaus realized the “Chris” who had shown up at his home was actually Jamie.
“Fuck!” Klaus cursed again and stormed out of the house.

Morticia groaned, stirring awake in an unfamiliar, dimly lit room. As the memories hit her, she tried to move but realized she was tied to a chair-so tightly that she couldn’t even move a finger, only her head.
“Hello?!” Her voice was shaky, laced with fear and anxiety. The sound echoed back, sending chills down her spine.
“Anybody here? Please, don’t kill me, you’ve got the wrong person,” she sobbed.
“You’re awake,” a familiar voice came from behind her. Footsteps approached, and Jamie slowly came into view.
Morticia couldn’t believe it.
“Jamie?” Her heart shattered, emotions in turmoil as she stared at the guy she once thought was the nicest person she had ever met.
“Hey, Morty,” he said softly.
“You were behind this? Why did you bring me here? Why the hell did you abduct me?!” she demanded.
“I just wanted to talk, okay?” He crouched beside her as she waited for him to speak.
“I just want to know why you broke up with me,” he said.
“You’re fucking insane!” she snapped. “Help! Somebody help!”
“Morticia!” he roared, his eyes flashing with anger, silencing her instantly.
“Please don’t hurt me,” she whimpered.
“I’m not gonna hurt you. I would never hurt you. I love you.”
“Well, you’re hurting me by bringing me here. I don’t want to have anything to do with you, and you’re the most horrible person I’ve ever met. Fuck you!”
Jamie’s jaw clenched. “What the hell do you see in Klaus, huh? I mean, he’s handsome, so am I. He’s rich, so am I. He’s got charm, so do I. So what is it, Morty? I heard Klaus breaks so many hearts, and yet you acted like a slut crawling to him. Has he fucked you? Or did I interrupt your moments with him last night?”
“He is his true self, and you… you’re just a piece of shit. Now let me go!”
“No, I won’t!” he yelled. “Not until you return my feelings, Morty.”
“Screw you!” she spat.
Like a vice, he grabbed her neck and forcefully crashed his lips onto hers, forcing a kiss.
Morticia groaned and bit his lip hard. Jamie pulled back with a groan, touching his lips and seeing blood.
His eyes blazed with fury, and in the next moment, he delivered a swift slap to her face.
Morticia’s eyes widened. Jamie had hit her. She looked up but got another hit from him. Tears blurred her vision as she spat out blood.
“It seems you love cold, brutal guys-the ones who will break you. Well, I’m going to give you just that.”
He grabbed her hair, yanking it back so hard that she cried out.
His gaze was cold as he stared at her bleeding lips, oddly indulging in the sight.
“Maybe this is where we’re meant to be, Morty. Just you and me… having a family. Fortunately for me, you’re a virgin, and I’m going to be the first man to fuck you so hard and make you scream,” he leaned in, brushing his lips against her neck.
Morticia could only cry, her voice failing her as fear took control.
“… just like how I was the first man you ever kissed.”
How the hell did he know that?
Sensing her question, he replied, “Like I said, I’ve been in love with you for a long time, Morty. Long enough that I can’t even remember… I have you now, and you think you can just break up with me and walk away? Hell, you shouldn’t have accepted my proposal… but I would have kept trying.”
“Just let me go, please,” she begged, hoping someone would barge in and save her.
He declared, “You’ll stay here with me, Morty, until the only man you think about is me. I’ll make sure of that…
And if Klaus or your dumb brother tries to stop me, I’ll put a bullet in their heads. Right in front of you…”
