His words hung in the air for a long moment. They stared at each other, each with different thoughts running through their heads.
She nodded, determination flashing in her gaze.
“I’m leaving,” her voice firm.
“Good choice,” he said in a low voice, watching her as she turned and headed for the door.
Klaus knew that would be her answer. Leave and avoid him…
That was exactly what he wanted her to do, yet she suddenly halted. His eyes tracked her movement.
She took a deep breath, mumbled something, and swept her hair back before turning to face him again.
What is she doing?
Her feet moved quickly. One moment, she was at the door, and the next, she was standing in front of him again. Those round grey eyes locked with his.
Her jaw clenched. She stammered, her voice trembling.
“I… I’m… staying.”
Klaus’s eyes widened, shocked by her unexpected action. He was speechless.
Did she know what she was getting herself into?!
Well, he gave her options, and she chose.
“Don’t blame me for this.” He whispered.
Klaus swiftly pulled her to him, crashing his lips onto hers. Those familiar soft, plump lips pressed against his, tempting the devil inside him to ravish her like an animal.
Her eyes slipped closed.
They say love is crazy…
At that moment, Morticia understood why that phrase existed. Her body wanted to leave, her instincts screamed at her to run from the rogue guy kissing her, but her heart wouldn’t let her.
How many years had it been? Seven? Seven years she had craved this…
It was happening. Klaus was kissing her.
Her lips quivered as he broke the kiss, his gaze piercing into her.
“Relax, Bunnie,” he whispered, his voice sending tingles across her skin.
His hand reached up to her face. Something about his touch sent electricity through her, heating her body. He pulled her waist against him, deepening the kiss.
He nibbled her lips, one after the other. Pleasure shot through her. She never imagined a kiss could feel this way. Her head spun, her knees weakened. She would have fallen if not for his arm around her waist.
She matched his movements, just like that night. Their lips burned against each other.
His tongue slid out, seeking entry, but she pulled back, their breaths mingling.
“Open up,” he demanded in a low voice, his thumb gently caressing her cheek.
“Trust me,” he whispered before reconnecting the kiss. He repeated his earlier action, and this time, she opened her mouth, allowing his warm tongue to slide in.
It felt different. So different.
Do kisses always feel like this? Because right now, she never wanted it to end.
It was overwhelming.
She let out a moan, a sound foreign to her, yet she moaned again and again… her hands on his firm tatooed chest. The way his tongue rolled in her mouth, teasing hers, ignited her body.
Another moan escaped her lips as their tongues danced together. She could feel the cold metal of his lip ring at the corner of her mouth… it added to the intensity.
“Fuck, Bunnie… you taste like heaven,” he growled into her mouth, sliding his tongue in again. His hand cupped her face, then slid to the back of her head, tilting it slightly for better access.
The kiss deepened. His lips moved roughly, demanding, exciting.
His other hand pulled her by the hip, resting on her ass.
Her entire body ignited even more. What was he doing to her?
It felt good. So good. She had never felt this way around Jamie. Wait… Jamie!
Morticia snapped back to her senses. She pulled away from Klaus completely, her eyes wide with confusion and guilt. Her chest heaved as she tried to catch her breath from the intensity of the kiss.
What had she done?!
This was so wrong!
“Bunnie?”
She avoided his gaze. “I… I’m sorry,” she stuttered.
“What?”
“I have to go,” she said quickly and rushed out of the house. She kissed Klaus, again? This time she was sober. This is insane.
Her cellphone dinged, a message from Jamie reminding her of the movie they planned to watch that evening.
Right. That had almost slipped her mind. She texted him back, saying she couldn’t wait. He responded with a love emoji.
When she got home, Vincent was already there, lounging tiredly on the couch, still in his dance attire.
Morticia felt nervous. The thought of what she had done with Klaus lingered in her mind.
“Where are you coming from?” he asked.
“Huh? I… I went to get something. How was dance practice?” she quickly changed the subject.
“Stressful as hell. Coach was really strict on me because of the days I missed.”
“Oh… rest well, then,” Morticia said and made to go up to her room.
“Morty,” Vincent called, and she halted. “Did something happen to you recently? Something that involves Klaus?”
If Vincent had been facing her, he would have seen the way her eyes widened.
Did he know?
“No. Not at all,” She answered, keeping her voice steady.
“Oh… alright,” Vincent mumbled, and Morticia quickly went upstairs.
When she was gone, Vincent muttered to himself, “If it’s not because of Morty, then why did Klaus hurt Simon?”

Two hours later…
Morticia didn’t know if she was watching the movie or if the movie was watching her.
Guilt gnawed at her, making her breath uneven. The first time, she had blamed it on the alcohol, but the second… she had done it by choice.
She glanced at Jamie, whose eyes were closed.
“Jamie?” she shook him lightly, and his eyes opened to meet hers. “You’re tired? We can leave so you can rest.”
“No… uh, no. Sorry, I fell asleep.”
“You don’t look well.”
“Yeah, my father got really hurt yesterday. He’s in the hospital. It’s kind of worrying me. I just want him to be okay.”
“I’m sorry.”
He flashed her a smile. “No need to be. Your presence here is enough to ease the pain, Morty.”
He took her hand into his and leaned his head on her shoulder. “Let’s stay like this for a while,” he whispered, his eyes closing again.

Nica was asleep when Dimitri and the other girls stepped into the room.
“Hey, Nikky,” the girls greeted her with a smile while Dimitri sat on the bed and began to smoke.
“What’s up with you? You’re acting weird,” Dimitri asked as Nica sat up, her face pale.
“I’m just feeling sick, that’s all,” she lied. She hadn’t left the room since she had ran out of her home… well, it wasn’t home anymore, was it?
“Oh, okay,” Dimitri shrugged and signaled for the other girl to come closer. As she did, their lips met, tongues intertwining.
Dimitri spanked her ass and squeezed it, and the girl let out a chuckle.
Nica rolled her eyes. “I need a side job. Do you know anyone who can help?”
Dimitri broke the kiss with the girl, who continued kissing her neck.
“A fucking job? What for?”
“I just need it. It’s personal.”
“You got a problem with your family? Oh right… Jamie mentioned his father got hurt, which is why he couldn’t come to the party last night… wait,” Dimitri squinted her eyes. “Don’t tell me, you did it.”
“None of this is your business, okay? If you can’t help me, then stop asking annoying questions,” Nica snapped and headed to the bathroom.
“What’s her problem?” Dimitri mumbled, but the girl kissing her neck caught her attention again.
“You’re not as good as Sin. Get off me,” she demanded, and the girl obeyed.
Dimitri stepped out and texted Klaus.
~Hey Sin. Where are you at. I’m horny, let’s hook up~
Almost immediately, Klaus began typing back. His reply made her face drop.
~Then go masturbate~
“Fuck you, Sin. Ugh, why is he playing so hard to get?” She wanted to text another guy, but none were as good as Klaus. She wanted him. She wanted him badly.
