Sophia was still recovering when Don made his way to her room, his expression grave and serious as he entered.
“I’ve come to check on your progress,” he said, his voice low and dangerous as he regarded Sophia.
Sophia smiled weakly, her eyes filled with respect as she bowed her head in deference.
“Thank you, Don,” she said, her voice hoarse and weak.
The Don nodded, his expression softening slightly as he spoke.
“I’ve heard what happened during the fight,” the Don said, his voice low and dangerous. “You were brave to confront our enemies.”
Sophia nodded, her expression grave and serious as she considered his words.
“I only did what was necessary,” she said, her voice strong and determined.
The Don smiled, his expression proud and serious as he continued to speak.
“Your courage and loyalty are admirable,” he said, his voice filled with admiration. “You have earned back your position within the family.”
As Sophia regained her strength, the Don called a meeting of the family, his expression serious and determined as he addressed them.
“My wife’s death was a tragedy,” he said, his voice low and dangerous as he looked at them. “But her killer has not gone unpunished.”
The members of the family nodded, their expressions grave and serious as they listened.
“We must continue to search for her body,” the Don continued, his voice filled with determination. “And Sophia will be reinstated as head of security.”
The members of the family nodded, their expressions serious and determined as the Don spoke.
“Sophia will take charge of the investigation,” he said, his voice hard and dangerous. “She will find the traitors and bring them to justice.”
Sophia nodded, her expression grave and serious as she accepted her new responsibility.
“I will not rest until I find the Don’s wife,” she said, her voice firm and determined. “And the traitor will be punished for his crimes.”
Sophia threw herself into the investigation, her mind racing as she searched for clues and leads.
As she dug deeper, she began to uncover evidence that pointed to Vito’s involvement in the Don’s wife’s murder.
With each new discovery, Sophia’s suspicion grew, her conviction that Vito was the traitor strengthening with each passing day.
Finally, she confronted Vito directly, her eyes flashing with anger and determination as she accused him of betrayal.
glared at him.
“I know what you did,” she said, her voice hard and dangerous as she regarded him. “You’re the traitor. You murdered the Don’s wife.”
Vito’s expression darkened, his eyes flashing with anger and defiance as he spoke.
“You can’t prove that,” he said, his voice low and dangerous.
But Sophia was undeterred, her conviction strengthened by Luca’s presence beside her.
“I will prove it,” she said, her voice hard and determined.
As the days passed, Sophia struggled to find the evidence she needed to prove Vito’s guilt.
But despite her best efforts, the proof remained elusive, her frustration mounting as she searched for answers.
Luca remained by her side, his loyalty unwavering as he supported her in her investigation.
And finally, after days of searching, they discovered the Don’s wife’s body, her corpse hidden in a remote location.
The Don was notified, his expression grave and serious as he thanked Sophia and Luca for their efforts.
“I want a private burial,” the Don said, his voice low and dangerous as he regarded Sophia and Luca. “Only the three of us will attend.”
Sophia and Luca nodded, their expressions serious and respectful as they agreed to his request.
The burial took place under the cover of darkness, the Don’s expression solemn and serious as he laid his wife to rest.
And as the final shovelful of dirt was placed over the grave, the three of them stood together in silence, the weight of the moment heavy in the air.
In the days that followed, Sophia continued her investigation, determined to uncover the truth behind the Don’s wife’s murder.
“You’re the traitor,” she said, her voice hard and dangerous as she regarded him. “You murdered the Don’s wife.”
Sophia scowled, her frustration mounting as she searched for more clues.
Despite her best efforts, Vito’s true motives remained elusive, his guilt still unproven.
As she continued her investigation, Sophia began to suspect that Vito was working with an accomplice, his actions too calculated and careful for him to have acted alone.
Determined to uncover the truth, she expanded her investigation, her focus shifting from Vito to the members of the family.
As Sophia continued her investigation, Luca grew increasingly concerned about her safety.
“You’re taking too many risks,” he said, his voice low and dangerous as he regarded her. “You’re putting yourself in danger.”
Sophia shook her head, her expression determined and defiant as she replied.
“I have to uncover the truth,” she said, her voice filled with conviction. “I won’t stop until I find the traitor.”
But Luca remained unconvinced, his eyes flashing with anger and concern as he spoke.
Sophia will na cry and say it is not her will to join the mafia
As the argument escalated, Sophia’s frustration and determination gave way to tears, her voice trembling as she spoke.
“I never wanted to be a part of this,” she said, her eyes filling with tears as she regarded Luca. “I never wanted to join the mafia.”
Luca reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder, his eyes filled with regret and compassion as he spoke.
“I’m sorry,” he said, his voice soft and gentle as he pulled her close.
Sophia buried her face in his chest, her tears wetting his shirt as she spoke.
In that moment, as they stood together in the flickering candlelight, Sophia and Luca found themselves at a crossroads, their love for one another colliding with the harsh realities of their lives.
“I don’t want to lose you,” Luca whispered, his voice trembling with emotion as he held her close. “I can’t bear to think of a life without you.”
Sophia looked up at him, her eyes filled with sadness and regret as she spoke.
“I can’t leave,” she said, her voice low and dangerous as she regarded him. “This is who I am.
