“This is the Snowsoul Pill I crafted. It should temporarily suppress the power of the Shade Soul Palm. Once you return to your sect, find a way to treat it completely,” Leo said, handing the pill bottle to Brooks.
Leo had extra Snowsoul Pills after making them for Princess Lyra, so he stored them in his Storage Sack.
“Thank you, Mr. Bloomer,” Brooks said gratefully as he took the bottle.
Brooks opened the bottle, took out a pill, and placed it into the mouth of the elderly monk with white eyebrows.
As soon as the Snowsoul Pill entered his mouth, it turned into a stream of icy liquid that flowed into the monk’s stomach and spread throughout his body.
Monk Xander immediately felt a relief from his pain, and a cool sensation washed over him.
The black aura lingering between the monk’s eyebrows dissipated significantly, and the painful expression on his face gradually turned into one of peace and tranquility.
Half a minute later, Xander slowly opened his eyes.
“Uncle Master, you’re awake,” Brooks said joyfully upon seeing Xander regain consciousness.
“Amitabha,” Monk Xander chanted a Buddhist prayer.
He could now use a portion of his spiritual power. With Brooks’ help, he stood up straight.
“After taking the pill, I feel much better,” Xander said to Brooks before turning to Leo. “This must be the renowned Mr. Bloomer. I am Xander. Thank you for saving our lives.”
“Master Xander, you are too kind,” Leo replied.
Xander reached into his Storage Sack at his waist and pulled out a translucent, crystalline pearl.
The surface of the pearl had a golden “swastika” symbol, radiating a solemn Buddhist light.
“Mr. Bloomer, this is the Immobilizing Pearl crafted by our Abbot Draven over forty-nine days. It can be used three times. I offer it to you in gratitude for saving our lives,” Xander said, handing the pearl to Leo.
Leo’s eyes lit up as he looked at the golden-glowing Buddhist Sect pearl in Xander’s hand.
The Immobilizing Pearl was well-known in the spiritual cultivation world. It could immobilize a beast or human Cultivator for a brief moment.
Do not underestimate this brief moment; it could determine the outcome of a battle.
Such a valuable item was not something Leo would refuse. He reached out and accepted it.
Monk Xander then took out a golden token from his robe and handed it to Leo. “Mr. Bloomer, this is the Vajra Token of our Diamond Fortress. If you ever come to Diamond Fortress with this token, we will do one thing for you within our capabilities.”
“Thank you, Master Xander,” Leo said as he accepted the token.
One side of the golden token bore the image of Buddha’s Dharma body, while the other side was inscribed with the words “Vajra.”
It was clear that Monk Xander was fulfilling Brooks’ earlier promise of a precious gift and favor.
“Mr. Bloomer, we must take our leave now. You are welcome to visit Diamond Fortress anytime; we will treat you with utmost hospitality,” Monk Xander said with hands pressed together in a gesture of respect.
“If I have the chance in the future, I will visit Diamond Fortress,” Leo replied.
“Amitabha, Mr. Bloomer, farewell,” Monk Xander chanted another Buddhist prayer before leaving with Brooks.
After watching them disappear from sight, Leo turned his attention back to the Immobilizing Pearl and Vajra Token in his hands, smiling with satisfaction.
This was indeed an example of good deeds being rewarded. With the Immobilizing Pearl, he had gained another means of subduing enemies on Pill Sovereign Island.
Glancing at the setting sun on the horizon, Leo stretched his muscles and summoned his Dragon Sword.
In a flash, Leo stood on the Dragon Sword.
The Dragon Sword transformed into a streak of light, flying towards the capital.
In less than half an hour, Leo arrived outside the capital’s gates.
After landing outside, he walked into the city.
The streets were bustling with people, and there were noticeably more Cultivators than a few days ago. Some powerful presences could be felt in various corners.
Upon returning to Ye Mansion, Mike hurriedly greeted him. “Lord, latest news: Pill Sovereign Island will be accessible tomorrow.”
Leo nodded.
“Lord, here is information I gathered over the past few days about notable forces and strong individuals from neighboring dynasties like Giant Wolf Dynasty, Crescent Dynasty, and Godsbane Dynasty.”
“There is also intelligence about Ancient Tyrant Pill Sovereign Island, some of which was provided by the Martial Dynasty Emperor.”
Mike handed a Spirit Scroll to Leo after speaking.
Leo took the Spirit Scroll and nodded with satisfaction.
He had instructed Mike to gather this information since he knew little about the dynasties surrounding Martial Dynasty.
The competition on Pill Sovereign Island would undoubtedly be fierce tomorrow. Being well-prepared and informed was always beneficial.
Leo put away the Spirit Scroll and had dinner before returning to his room.
Sitting cross-legged on his bed, Leo released his spiritual sense and entered the Spirit Scroll.
Reading information recorded in a Spirit Scroll with spiritual sense was highly efficient.
Some key pieces of information in the Spirit Scroll caught Leo’s attention.
One was about Ancient Tyrant Pill Sovereign’s herb garden; another was about his palace.
The palace likely contained precious pills he crafted and possibly his legacy!
It was rumored that Ancient Tyrant Pill Sovereign possessed a Spirit Treasure capable of releasing heavenly fire. This fire not only had immense offensive power but also greatly aided in alchemy.
Spirit Herbs, precious pills, legacy, and the rumored Spirit Treasure-any one of these would be incredibly enticing!
Leo’s deep eyes sparkled with anticipation.
With high expectations, Leo began his cultivation.
The next morning at dawn,
As the first rays of sunlight streamed in, Leo slowly opened his eyes.
Exhaling softly, he got out of bed and clenched his fists slightly as he looked towards Star Moon Lake’s direction.
It was time to set off!
Leo did not bring Mike along since Mike had just advanced to lower-tier Spirit Saint and would be at a disadvantage there.
Exiting through the north gate of the capital, Leo saw many powerful Cultivators summoning flying mounts or spiritual weapons for flight.
Clearly, these Cultivators had the same destination as him.
Of course, some Cultivators had probably set off last night or even earlier.
As for top sects like Runecarver Sect and Yin Shadow Gate, they naturally departed from their own sects.
Leo directly summoned his Dragon Sword.
The Dragon Sword transformed into a streak of light, carrying Leo towards Star Moon Lake.
On his way to Star Moon Lake, Leo encountered dozens of streaks of light heading in the same direction.
These streaks contained strong presences; many were traveling in groups.
There was even a flying boat with at least seven or eight powerful presences emanating from it.
There were not many like Leo who traveled alone.
